The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay

My best friend and I chose this hotel for our graduation trip to Sanya. Although we only stayed one night, the overall experience was absolutely fantastic. Every detail was delightful, making it the most unforgettable memory of our graduation journey. We were comfortable and happy throughout our stay!

The Ritz-Carlton truly lives up to its reputation as a top luxury, long-standing hotel in Yalong Bay. The service is thoughtful and meticulous, with a butler providing full-journey assistance. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The private beach has fine sand, and the family-friendly facilities are excellent. The kids had a blast, and the adults were able to truly relax. We'll definitely stay here again! Our butler, Elsa, provided attentive and detailed service, always ready to help – she's absolutely trustworthy!

My stay at The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay, was absolutely perfect! A special thank you to my dedicated butler, Smiling, whose service was truly impeccable. She was gentle, patient, meticulous, and incredibly professional, always responding super fast, almost instantly to messages. Communication with her was a delight, and her genuine and responsible approach meant she took care of every detail wonderfully. I stayed in a Grand Ocean View Room, and Smiling thoughtfully helped me choose a room with an amazing view. The floor offered expansive views, with a huge pool right below. This meant I could enjoy both the clear pool vista and a stunning blue ocean view – the mountains, sea, and pool all blended together for a super relaxing scene. The room's location was also incredibly convenient, quiet and private, ensuring a high level of comfort and really enhancing the vacation vibe. Throughout my stay, Smiling actively coordinated and patiently followed up on all my requests, big or small, doing her best to fulfill each one. This made the entire process effortless and reassuring. Her professional and attentive one-on-one service made the whole trip extra relaxing and doubled my experience. Many thanks to Smiling for her dedicated service; she was gentle, meticulous, and reliable – truly the biggest highlight of this trip! Next time I come to Yalong Bay, The Ritz-Carlton will still be my first choice, and I highly recommend everyone to seek out this treasure of a butler!

The scenery is beautiful. On the second day, probably because there was a wedding party checking in, I had to wait until 4 PM to check in. But I also arrived around 4 PM, so I only waited a few minutes. I made bookings on two different platforms for different dates, and they helped me combine them. The butler, Kira, was excellent and very attentive. She also helped me with a late check-out. Other staff members were also very responsive to requests. Upon check-in, they give you a necklace, and during turn-down service, you get a small seashell. The public areas and infinity pool here are extremely popular, and I personally found them very attractive and enjoyable.

Huge thanks to Alice for her excellent service these past three days. She reached out in advance to understand my needs and ensured my room requests were met. Throughout my stay, she continuously checked in on my hotel experience. The lounge staff were also very attentive, and the food was delicious, especially the evening cocktails. It's a shame I only went one night and couldn't try more! I've lost count of how many times I've stayed at a Ritz, but their service is consistently top-notch. Looking forward to my next getaway.

This time, I booked two pool-access rooms for two nights at the Ritz-Carlton Sanya for my family, and we had a very relaxing vacation. The overall experience exceeded our expectations. The rooms at the Li Tao Pavilion offer direct access to the pool, so you don't have to go back and forth through public areas, giving you complete freedom with your time. Unfortunately, all the pool-access rooms with sea views were fully booked during our stay, but the pool-access rooms in Building Two were also great, offering a quiet and private environment. The guest rooms were spacious and airy, and not damp as I had imagined for a ground-floor room. They were dry and comfortable overall, making for a very pleasant stay. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with lush tropical vegetation and attractive scenery everywhere. When we had free time, we'd stroll through the gardens and slowly make our way to the beach. On clear days, the waters of Yalong Bay are crystal clear, and we were lucky enough to see the beautiful blue sea and sky this time. The service during our stay was excellent. Nicole was friendly and responsive to our requests, handling everything promptly and appropriately. We didn't have a packed itinerary; most of our time was spent enjoying the hotel, playing in the pool, and walking along the beach, truly savoring a slow-paced island holiday. As a long-standing resort, both the facilities and service are top-notch. Li Tao is perfect for those who prefer a quiet getaway and enjoy water activities. Immersing ourselves in the leisure of island life, this stay was incredibly comfortable. When I come back to Yalong Bay in the future, the Ritz-Carlton will still be my top choice.

She was incredibly attentive and efficient throughout our stay. She responded quickly to all our requests and even proactively helped us coordinate many check-in details. Her service was perfectly balanced – thoughtful without being intrusive, which made us feel incredibly comfortable. The hotel's fishing excursion is definitely worth experiencing. We didn't have to bother looking for external providers; the boat was very stable, and the coach leading the trip was so patient. Even as complete beginners, we managed to catch fish. Enjoying the sea breeze and ocean views truly made our vacation feel complete. The dinner buffet in the evening was also a delightful surprise. The seafood was incredibly fresh, the variety of dishes was extensive, and both the hot dishes and desserts were excellent. The dining environment was pleasant, and eating with the evening breeze was a truly enjoyable experience. Overall, from the service to the activities and dining, everything was outstanding. This will definitely be our top choice for our next trip to Sanya. I genuinely recommend it.

Housekeeper Alice was incredibly thoughtful; the room she assigned us had a fantastic view, and she was very quick to respond to any requests. On our first day, my mom wasn't feeling well, and when we asked for a thermometer, a nurse arrived very quickly—that was a huge plus! The breakfast was good, as expected from the reviews, and met our expectations. The lunch and dinner at the lounge, however, were a pleasant surprise; they were unexpectedly delicious.
