I highly recommend the Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay Resort! The hotel boasts extensive coconut groves and gardens, complete with pools and a beach, making it easy to enjoy a relaxing vacation right on site. The rooms are clean, and the bedding is comfortable, with a rich variety of options for breakfast. A special shout-out to Lime, our butler, who was incredibly diligent and responsible throughout. Any questions we had during booking and our stay were answered quickly, and they proactively followed up and coordinated solutions for any issues that arose. Truly reliable and efficient. The on-site staff were also very friendly and responsive. Thanks to the excellent service from both customer service and the hotel, our trip was worry-free and enjoyable from start to finish. It's definitely worth coming back!

I sprained my ankle before my stay, and the butler provided excellent care throughout, with a fantastic attitude. A wheelchair was ready for me as soon as I got out of the car. Seriously, spend less time on Xiaohongshu; some things aren't worth avoiding, especially since Sheraton is a well-established five-star hotel. The evening performance was also great!

1. Booked through Ctrip and no member points? What kind of bizarre rule is that? A member is a member, what does it matter where I booked? A very rude policy. 2. Service response was extremely slow. I asked for help opening the safe on the first day of my stay and it was never opened even by check-out. 3. The air conditioning was actually broken. They tried to fix it for a long time at night but couldn't. I woke up several times during the night from the heat, and at 4 AM I woke up again and stayed awake until morning. I was completely disoriented the next day. 4. I tried to catch up on sleep the next day, but there was loud music from downstairs, so I couldn't rest again. 5. Some areas in the lobby had trash that wasn't cleaned promptly. I don't blame the hotel for this, only people with low素质 (poor manners/upbringing). 6. It doesn't feel like a five-star hotel, but it's cheap, which is a plus.

We experienced the pool room on the first night and the sea view room on the second night. I have to say, the sea view at Haitang Bay is truly spectacular. And the service at Sheraton is really excellent, from the butler service to all other aspects. There are also several outdoor pools, and you can use swimming rings for free, or ask staff to help inflate them. On the beach, there's a jungle adventure for kids, and the hotel also has a kids' club, a mini-train, and other recreational facilities.

I've stayed at this hotel many times🏨, and the environment is always beautiful. However, this time I checked in at 4 PM, but didn't get my room key until 5:30 PM [Lucky (Xuezi) helped communicate for me]. Later, I saw that the cleaning staff on the 8th floor were sweating profusely. I hope the hotel can appropriately increase staffing during peak holiday seasons. The cleaning staff on the 8th floor are meticulous and dedicated, but I don't know their names.

We stayed in a 5th-floor coconut grove sea view room. The room was clean and tidy. Outside, there were several pools of various sizes suitable for different groups of people, and the kids had a blast. The only downside was having to queue for breakfast!

The biggest issue was the cleanliness. As shown in the picture, when we lay down at night, we found the sheets covered in sand. We hadn't even been to the beach since checking in, so it was a huge red flag. The sand was really prickly. If it hadn't been so late and my child already asleep, we would have complained to the hotel that night. We gritted our teeth and slept through it, and the next day I had an allergic reaction. I have good reason to suspect the linens aren't changed for every guest. This issue was never clearly addressed by the hotel, even upon checkout, beyond a small monetary compensation. So, poor hygiene management must be a common occurrence here. The facilities are very outdated. The room was moldy, and the musty smell wouldn't dissipate even after running the air conditioning all afternoon. The most bizarre thing was the strong, offensive odor, possibly animal feces, that wafted in when we opened the balcony window at night, but was absent during the day. The hotel description mentioned amenities like children's step stools, but they weren't available when we asked upon arrival. I've stayed in many Haitang Bay hotels, and this is the first time I've encountered such an environment and facilities. I definitely won't be coming back. Perhaps the only slightly positive point was the service. When I reported the issues, although the hotel didn't give a clear reason, they were proactive in discussing and negotiating. Overall, considering the price of this hotel was lower than other hotels during the same period, I had already lowered my expectations. However, linen hygiene is a basic standard, and it's hard to believe this is Sheraton's management level. It just goes to show, you get what you pay for.

The hotel views were definitely great. The 8th-floor rooftop was perfect for watching sunsets, and the beach, sand, and coconut groves made for excellent photo opportunities. Since we booked a family room, we didn't have a high-floor view and could only see the coconut trees. On the first day, there was a slight musty smell when we opened the room door, but it improved after ventilating the balcony and was gone on subsequent days. Room cleaning required daily requests to the butler or front desk, as they mentioned having too many rooms and limited staff. However, there were times when we needed immediate trash removal, and despite agreeing to it, there was no follow-up. I understand that cleaners might not be able to determine if items on a table should be removed, but on one occasion, we found uncleaned trash and asked for a second cleaning. The staff agreed, but no one ever came. Compared to other hotels I've stayed at, the butler's response time for messages wasn't the quickest, but if you don't have a comparison, it's acceptable. Most requests were handled promptly. I want to commend the travel photography service, Platinum Photography. The hotel initially offered 5 complimentary photos, so we decided to let our child have a photoshoot. The photographer was excellent – great composition and very patient. They provided wonderful emotional support during the shoot, making our child very happy and resulting in a beautiful set of photos from Hainan. The makeup artist was also fantastic; the makeup was playful, and the hair was neat and pretty. I loved the look immediately after it was done. Regarding hotel facilities, the slides weren't very interesting for my child because she had previously visited the Venepos in Lingshui, and these slides felt too small and few. However, she thoroughly enjoyed the hand-cranked cars. The pool was also good; the 1.5-meter deep pool was heated, allowing us to swim late into the evening. You can rent pedal bikes within the resort, which is a nice way to explore the entire hotel grounds. For dining, the noodles at the noodle house were tasty, and the service was excellent, with issues resolved promptly. Ya Cui offered an evening buffet with performances, BBQ, Korean bibimbap, and budae jjigae. For me, the price was a bit high, offering poor value for money. Cai Yue Xuan, an à la carte restaurant, had decent food. Regarding food delivery, there were only three robots, so during peak times, we often had to wait 20 minutes and then call the front desk after delivery. I personally found the smaller rooms more comfortable. Our room in Building 79 was quite far from the lobby, requiring a very long walk, and waiting for the shuttle bus also took time. Although it was close to the beach, the main activities like the kids' club, breakfast, and exiting the hotel still required going to the lobby area.
