Only one pool was open when I visited and there wasn’t enough beds for everyone, the beach is a short walk so it didn’t make much of a difference to me. All in all a great hotel if you just need somewhere basic but don’t expect luxury"

"The room was amazing, very large with a huge amount of space, including a living room area and a lovely balcony. I had a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The swimming pool was also great and very refreshing to use, especially in the heat. The location is good as well, with the beach only around a 5-minute walk away. However, Donghai Beach was closed during my visit, so I ended up going to other nearby beaches instead. There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. It felt very geared towards Russian tourists, and at times it seemed like they were prioritised more than others (I travelled from the UK). Also, while the pool itself was lovely, the lifeguards were not very friendly and were often sitting around smoking or on their phones, which didn’t give the best impression. The hotel is also missing a great opportunity with the bar area in the middle of the pool, which wasn’t being used at all. It would be a perfect spot to serve drinks and cocktails and really elevate the experience. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with a beautiful, spacious room and good facilities. With a few improvements to customer service and better use of its amenities, it could easily feel like a strong 4 star hotel."

After going out for dinner and returning to the hotel, I was drenched in sweat and ready to take a shower, but there was no water! I called the front desk, and they said there was a problem with the water pipes and they were contacting repairmen. I waited until 11 PM, but the water still hadn't come back on! I had to sleep dirty! My rest was terrible! 🙁🙁🙁"

"Overall, the hygiene was decent, and both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were very helpful. However, our small private room, likely due to being a guesthouse by the sea and unoccupied for some time, was quite damp. Since there were only two of us, we simply kept the door to the small room closed. The TV wasn't very new. Upon check-in, if the room wasn't ventilated, there was a slight smell. Although there was a notice on the door advising against opening windows, we still left them open when we went out, and it was much better when we returned. It's probably just the season. Otherwise, everything else was fine, and the overall environment was quite good. You can watch the sunrise in the morning. For sea views, there's a bit of an obstruction, and I was told that this is typical for all rooms in this building. Nevertheless, it was still a very good experience overall!"

The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a swimming pool, gym, a commercial street, and a snack street, creating a great resort atmosphere. Traveling during the off-season offered excellent value for money! The complex boasts a well-developed commercial area with both a snack street and a shopping street, and there's free underground parking available."

This villa is highly recommended, perfect for a big family."

As someone who's a bit of a clean freak, I specifically checked the bathroom and bedding, and everything was absolutely spotless, even the corners were perfectly clean. It made me feel very comfortable staying there. The room's highlights were also outstanding; the wabi-sabi concrete design was sophisticated and timeless, and the extra-large floor-to-ceiling windows provided excellent natural light. Lying in bed at night watching a movie on the high-definition projector created an incredible ambiance! The biggest surprise was the private terrace, which offered excellent privacy, and just sitting there in the evening, enjoying the breeze, was incredibly therapeutic. Furthermore, the front desk service deserves praise too. Check-in was very efficient, the staff were warm and thoughtful, and they even kindly recommended local restaurants and sightseeing routes. They were always ready to help. In short, both the facilities and the service were impeccable. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!"

The surrounding area is very quiet, and the public spaces are exquisite. The rooms are large, and all the interior furnishings are new, with comfortable mattresses. From the airport pick-up and drop-off to the gatekeepers and cleaning staff, everyone's service attitude was excellent. They even offered a complimentary afternoon tea. There's a Baihua Valley nearby, so it's easy to stroll over for a meal. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Hainan, and I hope they can maintain this level of quality."
