Sanya Marriott Yalong Bay Resort & Spa

Second time staying here, and I opted for the full sea view room. The front desk attendant specifically gave us a room on the seventh floor, close to the full sea view suite, which offered fantastic views. The hotel has a garden-style design with excellent greenery, and there are always gardeners tidying things up daily. There are two pools; the lagoon pool provides free swimming rings and towels, as well as basketballs and volleyballs for water sports. During the summer, it's packed with kids, especially a lot of Russians. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and it's quiet and private.

Before checking in, I was really looking forward to the Yalong Bay sea view, but I didn't expect the hotel's facilities and environment to be the biggest surprise. Whether it was digging in the sand and chasing waves at the beach or enjoying a leisurely drink at the hotel, every moment made me want to capture the beautiful scenery.

Facilities: The room was very new, and the twin beds were quite large. Everything needed was well-stocked in the room, and additional requests to room service were responded to quickly. Hygiene: Excellent. The room was tidy and clean, and the public areas were also very clean, indicating that regular cleaning was done promptly. Environment: No need to elaborate on the environment of a five-star hotel in Yalong Bay. The public areas primarily feature large lawns, which are beautiful and expansive. Service: A special thanks to the room butler who arranged a great room for us and later upgraded us to a room with a fantastic view. Any requests we had were handled very quickly.

Stepping into the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised; it felt much newer than I expected. I had deliberated for a long time between Meigao Mei and Marriott when booking, ultimately choosing the renovated Marriott. The room was quite spacious, and the balcony had a double-row drying rack. The bathtub area was a bit narrow, which might be a drawback for those who enjoy taking baths. Upon check-in, we received two complimentary iced coconuts, and children could get free ice cream between 2 PM and 4 PM. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, almost too many to choose from, especially the bread selection. I particularly enjoyed the bread pudding; it was a little sweet but had a great texture. The butler service was very responsive, quickly and actively helping with any small issues. If I visit again, I would likely choose Marriott.

The Marriott rooms are quite new, without that old, musty smell. The pool gets shade in the afternoon, which is great for kids. The public areas are also beautiful with large lawns and plenty of palm trees. The beach has really good sand, and the kids couldn't stop digging and swimming. There are daily activities for both children and adults, making it perfect for a family vacation. A special shout-out to our butler, Bailu, who anticipated our needs even before check-in and continued to proactively check in with us until check-out. It was a very thoughtful stay experience.

Had a small issue at the beginning, but it was resolved quickly after feedback! We meticulously chose the Marriott Suites in Yalong Bay. I wanted a full resort experience and didn't like leaving things to chance, so I picked the full ocean view suite based on our needs! The view was fantastic, and it was spacious enough for our family of three, making for a very comfortable stay! We'll definitely come back! Thanks to the butler service, we even got a late check-out because of our child, and on our last day, we finally experienced Sanya's great weather! We'll choose Marriott again next year!

Quite convenient, and the hotel's decor isn't as old as I expected; the facilities are decent. The staff are all very enthusiastic, proactively helping with luggage and greeting guests. Check-in was smooth around 2 PM. Our butler, Bailu, was excellent, going above and beyond to solve problems and showing immense patience. The beach experience really depends on the weather! There's a big difference between sunny and cloudy days.

Overall, it was a great experience. The landscaping is beautiful, and the sea-view rooms offer a fantastic view. The coffee shop and Chinese restaurant serve good food. In the evenings, there's a Russian band playing, which creates a wonderful atmosphere. The staff is polite, and the butler service is excellent and responsive to any issues. Despite the typhoon bringing wind and rain, I didn't get to see the 'jellyfish sea,' but I still managed to enjoy some time by the beach.

The room was spotlessly clean, making me feel completely at ease. The bedding was pristine, and the bathroom was impeccably tidied. The service was absolutely outstanding; the front desk lady was incredibly friendly, helped with my luggage, and thoughtfully reminded me of important details. Both the pool and the sea view were incredibly picturesque, perfect for photos. I had a very comfortable stay! 🌊💙💙
