This hotel has been on my 'must-visit' list for three years, and I finally had the chance to check it out. **Facilities:** Very comprehensive, and the amenities are quite up-to-date. **Cleanliness:** Spotless. I was particularly impressed that even the kids' play area was clean – no random clumps of hair like you often see, which was a pleasant surprise. My only gripe is with some parents who completely ignore their kids, letting them throw the ball pit balls and blocks everywhere. **Environment:** Absolutely stunning, no words needed. The entire Xianghu Lake area is just beautiful. Though, be prepared for a lot of people taking influencer-style photos. **Service:** Excellent.

The hotel boasts a superb environment and is conveniently located very close to Xiang Lake, within walking distance, making it perfect for leisurely strolls around the lake. The hotel's hygiene is excellent, and the staff are warm and friendly. The restaurant servers are particularly enthusiastic, meticulous, and attentive. Breakfast offers a rich variety and good quality. The dishes at the Shuiyang Restaurant are of very high quality; I dined there twice during my stay and was very satisfied both times. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and in good working order, especially the well-placed and user-friendly light switches and power outlets, which show thoughtful design. It would be even better if the hotel could add turn-down service and room escort after check-in. Overall, the hotel excels in all aspects and is ideal for a holiday experience.

This garden-style hotel offers an amazing experience; the hotel itself is a tourist attraction! It also has a kids' play area that is very clean, and my child had a great time. Stepping out of the hotel brings you right to Xianghu Lake Scenic Area.

I absolutely adore this hotel, the Xianghu Xiaoyao Manor Hotel, nestled halfway up a mountain with truly stunning surroundings. The hotel's style is a beautiful blend of traditional Chinese and Tang Dynasty aesthetics, with a new picturesque scene at every turn, showcasing an exquisite Chinese design philosophy. You're definitely paying for the ambiance here. The public areas immediately make you stop and admire them upon entering – it’s very photogenic. As for the room, I stayed in a deluxe room this time, which was quite spacious. However, there wasn't much of a view from the balcony. The lighting in the room always felt a bit dim. For our anniversary, I specifically booked their anniversary package, which included a matching sachet, postcards, and their signature ginger milk tea. Breakfast on the first day was great; the freshly squeezed watermelon and mango juices were delicious, and the variety of other dishes was quite rich. They have a swimming pool and a kids' play area. I also pre-booked a healing sound bath session to unwind for an hour. If I get the chance, I'd love to try out the Fragrant Garden villa area next time.

The environment is pretty good, and the visuals are nice. However, the hygiene is not up to par. The tea set was dirty; there were even used tea leaves from the previous guests on the cups. It's quite disappointing. On the positive side, the room was very quiet.

First and foremost, I'd like to express my gratitude for upgrading two of our three rooms to suites during our stay. However, I believe the hotel still has a lot of room for improvement in many aspects. Our original intention for visiting during the May Day holiday was to bring our elderly family members to enjoy some fresh air, but I was quite disappointed. A price tag of 3000+ felt disproportionate to the service quality compared to other hotels in Hangzhou at a similar price point. Especially regarding facilities and care for the elderly: Before booking, I specifically noted that we would have three guests over 80 years old. Yet, the housekeeping department assigned us rooms incredibly far from the elevators. As you can see from the photos, the hallway alone is quite long. I find the hotel's elevator design hard to comprehend; there are only three elevators in the entire building. The walk from the elevator to our room felt like a real trek, taking at least 5 minutes. This was truly challenging for elderly guests with mobility issues. Furthermore, the hotel didn't seem to offer any special care for the elderly, nor were there preferential seating areas for them in the lobby. It felt like a difficult hotel for elderly guests with mobility problems to stay in. Service: In terms of service, I appreciate some aspects, like the proactive turndown service, which was good. Generally, they tried their best to accommodate requests and were very responsive. However, I think the speed could be improved (though I also believe this was partly because our room was so far away; it took about 20 minutes just to get a luggage cart). Environment: The environment was relatively okay; it did give a sense of fresh air. However, most windows faced the internal courtyard of the hotel, so there was no mountain view. Only the suites on either side offered a glimpse of the mountains. Hygiene: Hygiene... hmm, other areas were fine, but the white stains on the sofa were a bit alarming. I'm not sure what kind of old dirt they were. ⚠️ While we didn't get to experience the special features, I hope the hotel can make significant improvements in its services for the elderly.

On-site photoshoot: I managed to book this hotel photoshoot in Hangzhou, cleverly avoiding the May Day rush. This was, without a doubt, the most professional photographer I've ever met. This female photographer understood composition, lighting, and even guided me on posing. She had an excellent eye for showcasing the harmony of body movements and was incredibly familiar with the location. The entire shoot, from start to finish, took only 15 minutes! She also meticulously attended to details that women often care about, like the curve of a skirt or the angle of a prop. Truly the most thoughtful and professional photographer I've encountered! Her editing aesthetic was also top-notch, exactly my style. I've never met a photographer whose editing so perfectly matched my preferences. From start to finish, the editing process took only 15 minutes, fulfilling all my post-production requests (no over-editing, no over-exposure, just natural color restoration). I truly believe this is what a real photographer should be like! The customer service representative I connected with via WeChat was also wonderful, patiently helping me select photos. I love Hangzhou, I love this hotel, and I especially love the photographer arranged by this hotel. The money was incredibly well spent, I'm so happy!! **Environment:** The hotel's overall landscaping is exceptionally well done, with beautiful scenery everywhere. We stayed in the villa area, which was incredibly quiet, free from any construction or noise. The hotel's internal amenities are also very comprehensive and high-end. **Service:** The service was excellent. Our luggage was heavy, but the shuttle bus driver helped us carry it up the steps to the hotel. Plus, the shuttle service is available 24 hours, which is incredibly convenient. This level of service is truly the best I've seen for a thousand-yuan-level hotel. **Facilities:** The facilities are very complete – afternoon tea, breakfast, swimming pool, gym, you name it, they have it. And the view from the gym is absolutely stunning.

The hotel is nicely located in a valley by Xiang Lake, offering a tranquil and picturesque environment, perfect for a getaway. The front desk and room service are commendable, especially Julia's excellent service. The Western restaurant, Chinese restaurant, and bar are also quite good, with mid-to-high range prices that are reasonable. After staying for two nights, I extended my stay for another night, making it a more relaxed four-day, three-night vacation. It was ideal for unwinding and chilling out, without feeling bored. Strolling by the lake after breakfast and enjoying a drink at the bar in the evening were both very pleasant.
