I absolutely loved this room! It had a tatami tea table and a small balcony. There were even more seating areas on the rooftop. The bedroom, toilet, and shower were all separate, which was great for functionality and privacy. The owner was super enthusiastic and gave me excellent tips for sightseeing. Plus, the electric scooter rental price was incredibly good, making my Hangzhou trip very pleasant. I'll definitely be back to Hangzhou and will stay here again!

The room was spacious and clean, and I especially loved the lush green view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. I booked this place for easy access to Baoshi Mountain. I went up from Qixia Ridge Road next to Yue Fei Temple, circled past the Chunzheng Bookstore after reaching the summit, and descended from Baoshi Mountain Xia Nong. From Baoshi Mountain, you can not only see the Baochu Pagoda but also West Lake, directly facing the Broken Bridge. It's been many years since I last climbed Baoshi Mountain; I used to hike it every year with friends from Zhejiang University's Yuquan Campus. The owner also gifted a small box of Longjing tea, which was very fragrant.

This was my first time visiting Lingyin Temple, and by chance, we picked this hotel. Even after we left, my child kept saying they want to come back next year! They loved the amazing and comfortable environment, and said the front desk staff (the 'brothers and sisters' as they called them) had excellent service – so friendly and welcoming. We felt completely relaxed, body and mind, just being at the hotel; we didn't even need to go to Lingyin Temple to find that peace! 😆 Plus, the hotel's environment is fantastic, so clean and cozy. Checking in here just makes you feel wonderfully relaxed and comfortable!

The housekeeper provided very thoughtful instructions on how to get there, as private cars are restricted during certain times. Following their directions made for a smooth arrival. Upon arrival, the host even treated us to some sweet soup, which was a lovely, heartwarming gesture. Ordering takeout here is very convenient; we were able to enjoy local tea drinks even after 11 PM, which was great. The location is super close to the Lingyin Temple scenic area entrance, just a 10-minute walk away. In the morning, we took a taxi to the cable car, walked down from there, explored Lingyin Temple, and then walked back to the guesthouse – incredibly convenient. The interior design of the guesthouse is very unique and tranquil, and the room decor is also very comfortable and artistic. I absolutely love this place.

On our third night in Hangzhou, we spontaneously booked a twin room at this guesthouse. At nearly 300, the price wasn't exactly cheap. We found out upon arrival that there are two locations: Yuexi Garden Guesthouse (132 Qingzhiwu) and Yuexi Cinema Guesthouse (154 Qingzhiwu). Check-in and the actual room weren't in the same building, but they weren't far apart either. The landlady's service attitude was decent. The complimentary special activities were at the check-in location, so we didn't bother trying them. The room's cleanliness was alright; I felt a slight itch in the morning, but it was nothing serious. The wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very convenient. The soundproofing in the room wasn't great; you could hear water flowing and people talking. The router under the projector screen was very bright at night, and its flashing reflection on both sides of the ceiling was disruptive to sleep. I suggest covering it up. Getting around here mainly relies on taxis, or you can walk to West Lake for a stroll. There's hot water available on the first floor for guests, which is a nice touch for women, and free umbrellas are provided at the entrance. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.

The room is fully equipped with underfloor heating and central air conditioning. The hotel service is excellent: there's a shuttle bus from outside the scenic area to the hotel, the front desk upgraded us to a garden view room, and they deliver a generous amount of fruit daily – so much that we couldn't finish it. It's the most fruit I've ever received at a hotel, bar none. The hotel's cleaning is very thorough; after the room is cleaned, there's a dedicated person who comes to inspect it. Breakfast is semi-buffet, with some items needing to be ordered, and it's very refined and delicious. The hotel's location is also superb, just a ten-minute walk from Lingyin Temple and a five-minute walk from the North Peak Cable Car. It's perfect for daily visits to the scenic area (reservations required, of course). If you can't get a reservation, you can also hike North Peak or visit Faxi Temple, Fajing Temple, and Fajing Temple, or explore the surrounding area on foot. I'll definitely stay at Jiulisong again on my next vacation to Hangzhou.

The environment is very good in the small courtyard, the room has a floor-to-ceiling glass facing the tea table in the yard, and the late check-in is smooth. The room was cleaned and comfortable, and it was quiet to sleep at night. In the morning, I can hear the bells in the temple, and the place to be quiet is really good. The location is also very good in the scenic area, the homestay is 50 meters from the entrance, very easy to find, a very good experience, come back next time

I chose the Atour Hotel West Lake in Hangzhou, and it's not my first time staying at an Atour. As always, it felt like a home away from home. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, the room was clean and tidy, and the location is super convenient, very close to the subway exit, making getting around a breeze. 1. **Location:** The hotel is situated right by West Lake. If you're taking the bus, get off at Yuemiao Station. From the hotel, it's just a few minutes' walk to Quyuan Garden in West Lake, which is incredibly convenient if you want to see the cherry blossoms there. It's also very close to Lingyin Temple and Hangzhou Botanical Garden. Prince Bay Park is about a 20-minute taxi ride away. One thing to note, though, is that the hotel is right next to Yue Fei's Tomb. You might want to consider if that bothers you; I only found out after checking in (facepalm 🤦). 2. **Service:** For a price of over 400 RMB, the room amenities and cleanliness were decent. However, the exhaust fan was broken. I called the front desk, and they said they'd send someone to fix it, but no one ever came, and I didn't get any follow-up. Another point, and this is my biggest complaint, is that we booked a standard twin room. Right outside the room was a small road. I initially thought it wouldn't be busy, but cars and electric bikes were passing by from evening until early morning, making quite a lot of noise. 3. **Cleanliness:** Overall, the hygiene was good. 4. **Food:** There are a few local eateries at the hotel's intersection, but dining options in general are a bit inconvenient. However, you can take a taxi to Dongshanlong Market nearby, where there are more food choices. I recommend the stir-fried eel noodles from Zhiweiguan.

The room isn't huge, but the view from the window is fantastic, with lush greenery all around and very quiet. Both the common areas and the in-room facilities are brand new, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel is excellent, directly opposite Quyuan Garden (Curved Yard and Lotus Pool) and right next to the Four Seasons. For its location, the price is unbeatable – truly great value for money. The hotel also has its own small garden to stroll through, and nearby, a walk along Zhaogong Dyke leads to the beautiful scenery of Jinsha Harbor and Hangzhou Botanical Garden. Breakfast was just okay, but the Chinese restaurant has delicious food and isn't expensive at all. I really loved it!

SShicengyuniduoguoyudewuyanJust got back from my trip to Hangzhou, and this Mercure hotel truly exceeded my expectations! I have to give a special shout-out to Jingjing at the front desk – she was absolutely wonderful! Check-in and check-out were super fast. They even have a robot that delivers your laundry once it's washed and dried, which is incredibly thoughtful! The hotel itself was very comfortable. The lobby and hallways were spotless, and the bedding and pillows in the room were incredibly comfy. You can even choose a memory foam pillow, so I fell asleep in an instant! The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, and the air conditioning and mini-fridge were both quiet, not making a sound. Breakfast was also good, with freshly made noodles and local snacks – very satisfying. But the best part was the location! It's right in the city center, just a few steps from Fengqi Road Metro Station. It's super close to West Lake and Hefang Street, and downstairs there are convenience stores, restaurants, bubble tea shops, and everything else you could want. It was so convenient for going out and grabbing a bite to eat or shopping in the evening! Overall, my experience was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou!

The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular. The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite. The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent. Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

The hotel has a Republic of China style, and they even provide free Qipaos for guests to take photos! The service is excellent; they called in advance before check-in to ask about my arrival time and if I was driving.

AAnonymous UserOverall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved. The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore. The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition. Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day. Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit. Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest. Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority. Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small. Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable. The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those. Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard.

The hotel's viewing platform is particularly noteworthy; enjoying the beautiful West Lake scenery from it in the morning is incredibly pleasant! The front desk staff are professional and very patient, and the restaurant and housekeeping staff are all very enthusiastic! GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Jjacqueline0801The hotel rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are quite large. Each room has a balcony, and the rooftop garden offers views of West Lake, Baoshi Mountain, and the Baochu Pagoda. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. The location is excellent, very close to Bai Causeway, and the Wulin Night Market is right next door. The subway station is also nearby, making it convenient for getting around. Overall, it offers great value for money.

GGuest UserThe room was great, and the front desk staff were particularly helpful. They even assisted with things like forgotten room cards when I had a delivery, which I really appreciate. The cleaning staff were also lovely. 🥰 I'll definitely be back! The hotel is very close to the subway and bus, making it easy to get around to many places in a day without any hassle.
