Very close to Taipei Main Station (look for exit Z8) in which you can be easily connected to other locations. Room was clean. Lobby was very nicely done up. Good for families with children. They also have washing machines and dryers for NT50 each per use. Complimentary light bites provided in the afternoon (limited hours) in the lobby. Would recommend and stay again.

My husband and I had a fabulous stay at Via Hotel Taipei Station. The hotel is really conveniently located, and we used it as a base to walk to lots of the main sites and the ximending area. The room was spotlessly clean, and comes with a little neck massager as part of the room. They have lots of free snacks available 24/7, and as others have written, they have a soft-serve ice cream machine available as well. We also enjoyed the 2 big massage chairs in the basement game room area. We also appreciated the pocket wifi that was available for rental from the front desk at a very reasonable rate. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to return in the future.

The hotel is in a good location, 5 or 6 minutes' walk from Shin Kong San Nan West Business District and Zhongshan MRT Station.
Thick carpets are laid in the corridors, which will not affect the residents in the rooms due to movement.
The room is not big, and it can be seen that it is a bit old, but it is clean and tidy, the bedding is a down quilt, the bath towel is relatively thick, and the body is dried quickly.
There are not many breakfast dishes, but they are quite delicious. The service staff in the restaurant are very friendly. I didn't specifically request a vegetarian meal when I checked in. Thank you to the hotel for taking the initiative to confirm whether I needed a vegetarian meal and specially preparing a vegetarian main meal.
Overall, it was a good accommodation experience and I will visit again.
The only thing that feels like a fly in the ointment is the lack of lighting and lighting in the room. It is recommended to increase the number of electric lights.

First of all, the hotel building itself is old, but
The condition of the room was very good, perhaps because it was renovated.
This hotel has a counter on the 14th floor and only operates on the 13th and 14th floors.
It's great for visiting Taipei 101 Tower and the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
There is a convenience store and McDonald's nearby!
I heard you can choose delivery food for breakfast.
Personally, I don't recommend it.
It's a bit far from Ximen, but it's a good distance to go by bus or taxi! I requested a room with a view of Taipei, but the view isn't as good as I thought, so don't have high expectations! The floor height is somewhat low and still feels open. The room size is appropriate and the soundproofing is good. What's disappointing is that there aren't many restaurants nearby and it's far from Ximen!

Location of the resort was close to Xinbeitou station, so it is quite convenient. However, unless you want to spend time in the spa district or go westwards to Tamsui area, I would advise to live closer to the city centre. In terms of the room, it is spacious, but it felt quite old and dark. The robes they provided, although in a sealed bag, felt unclean and had a stench but luckily the bathrooms were fine. The bath was probably the redeeming feature of the hotel as it filled up quickly and was very comfortable to sit in after a long day of walking. The included breakfast is incredibly mid - hot food didn’t feel hot enough - but it is good enough for a light snack to start the day.

Hotel staff were very friendly & helpful . The hotel room were clean & spacious . The location is very convenient. Lots of transport to choose . I travel from kaoshiung to Nanggang . I don’t need to take transport to hotel as it’s only a few minutes walk . My first Stay at your hotel is very satisfying So I come to stay again with my family & friend.
The Food at the Buffet Breakfast is also great. Their Chinese restaurant is the most I like . So so so good & yummy. So far it’s the best Chinese Cantonese food.
I will come to stay again when I’m at Taipei

Well, when it comes to value to money, this hotel is a let down.
The price is overrated compare to the added value of the room and service you can get.
Unless you really have high budget for hotel stay so that you can afford their suites room in high floor, the room (including its view) is just a so so (compare to its price)
The most let down is their breakfast service in Yen. It consistently gave me an unfair table placement during my stay. Fyi, I am a non chinese asian solo traveller. I always come to the breakfast place quite early before 7 AM so that there are so many empty table. The restaurant officer always escort me to sit in small table with almost no view. Everytime i asked why i can't sit in the more better better place, they will answer that the tables are for more than 2 person. Again, i arrived very early in the morning so that almost every tables are empty. First, i tried to be positive, that maybe this restaurant would be very full soon and the officer would consistently place a single person guest like me in the smaller uninteresting position table. I was very dissapointed when they just escorted single or 2 person westerners to the tables with the best view with the capacity for 4 people or even sofa pavillion for 6. They were stayed there alone until their finish their breakfast. So dissapointed with this unfair treatment. Its front desk performance during my check out on june 4th 2023. It's almost 7 and only 1 officer standby. It's a very long waiting time (since i wait there since 06.35 AM). I also cant use the express check out because the express check out box has information that i can only do the express check out if I chose it during the check in (which nobody informed me).
So my insight from this trip is:
1. Prepare a high budget so that you can afford their suites. You will experience the real W experience with that kind of room
2. Their breakfast restaurants service not really a best place for solo asian non chinese traveller. It has a great food and good view but yeah not the best service based on my experience

CCherny GohNew hotel and modern. Loved the coffee machine and all snacks and drinks were part of the room booking. Hotel was just 2 mins away from MRT Jiantan exit 2 and walking distance to Shilin Night Market. Mountain view. The jacuzzi bathtub provided a good soak after a day of walking/shopping/feasting. The housekeeper forgot to place a new set of towels on day 2 which was an unpleasant experience.

YYapJunService staffs were friendly and welcoming. Superb location. Just a junction away from the all famous ximending. Been to taipei many times and this is one of my fav. Hotel so far. Hotel is slightly away from the overcrowded exit 6 of the metro which is definitely our preference. Right at the doorstep, there is a big convenience store as well. Snacks and instant noodles provided free every night if you are hungry and Taiwan instant noodles are the best. Hotel helped booked a airport transfer when we checked out. It was cheaper than Uber. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

They helped us make reservations at a popular restaurant upon our request and also arranged for a rental car (driver included!) 2. Perfect location- 5 mins walk from Taipei train station exit M5 3. Clean rooms and bathrooms- Tidy upon check in and daily housekeeping was diligently done (look at the spotless bathroom attached) Cons: 1. Not much of a view from window 2. Wifi is not strong in the rooms (Concierge solved this for us by installing a router in our room!)

SSharmaine Arby IliganThe hotel is very clean and the room that we booked for a couple of days was awesome. Staffs were kind and can speak english. They were very helpful and they won't let you wait longer when you arrive at the hotel. Their service was great. Complete toiletries, beautiful room. The bathroom is so spacious with hot and cold shower. There's a glass division, where the shower area is separated to the toilet area. Nice 🛁 and very comfortable. Our bed was so comfy and perfect for a rest after a long day of sightseeing and walking around taipei area. We had a wonderful experience in beauty hotel and definitely will come back again. By the way, the hotel has a nice small lounge and a section where you can make a coffee for free. Plus they also has a water refilling station so you don'tneed to buy water from outside. The location of the hotel is also perfect because it is near to Jiantan train station and surrounded with lots of restaurants, bakery, coffee and tea shop and 7 eleven.

Social area on floor B2, isn't obvious that it's there and not told about it by staff, but has kitchenette and lots of sofas. Beds were comfortable and big with light and curtain. Only thing could be adding a small shelf above the bed and some coat hooks in the communal area. Also it wasn't possible to have the light on at the same time as having something plugged in (could just be our large plug). Overall amazing value and wouldn't hesitate to book again in future! Photo of nearby night market and of a very nice restaurant local to the hotel - Fuhong Beef Noodle Restaurant. Enjoy!

WWu jiaweiThe hotel is located near Taipei Main Station. The location is quite ideal. I had to catch the Taoyuan Express in the morning, so I chose it. I was not disappointed. It is very close to the entrance of the Express, and there are convenience stores, restaurants, and restaurants nearby. Quite a few, it can cover almost all the needs in life. The room I stayed in this time was very tidy and had a lot of space. The bedding and supplies were very comfortable and well-prepared. The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic. The experience this time was full marks. I will stay again if I have the opportunity.

KKevinLocated within minutes from Ximending and the Taipei metro, so it was the perfect location for me.
I had the deluxe room which was spacious, with lots of room space to move around and there was a mini fridge, open wardrobe where I could hang my clothes and a counter top on the side with 2 chairs. The shower and toilet was also spacious with a kinda bathtub. Shower gel and shampoo in dispenser were also available.
Toothrbrush, shaver, comb and shower cap were all available during check in if required and bathroom slippers were also available in the room. Little things that made everything complete. At the concierge, there were snacks that were free of charge for guests and a water dispenser that serves sparkling water which was so cool!
The room will be cleaned upon request and when I asked why, they said cos some guests want their privacy and do not wanna be disturbed so they will only clean the room upon request. Luckily I am quite a tidy person and didn’t eat in my room so my room was generally clean and didn’t really need any cleaning during my stay.
Towels were sufficient and I only needed more tissue and mineral water during my stay and was given to me upon my request. If anything is needed, the concierge is also available 24 hours which ensured peace of mind for every guest.
But most of all, it was the staff that made my stay fun and memorable. They were extremely friendly and approachable. I love the family/friends feel whenever I was in their space. They were also extremely helpful when I asked about where I could get great local food and they would even Google and show me exactly what they were recommending and made sure I will get to the desired destination.
Overall, this is a great hotel that I would highly recommend for anyone when travelling to Taipei Taiwan.
