Just next to Jiantan Station and no issue to find the hotel even though we arrived late in the evening. Room was spacious with great amenities. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Appreciated the free items in the minibar. Would be better if there was gym facilities equipped. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The hotel front desk staff are attentive and provide charging cable loan service. The room is spacious and comfortable, and I particularly like the long workbench, which is convenient for placing items. The bathroom has enough space and is worth praising. But the location is a bit far away, it takes 20 minutes to get to Taipei Main Station by car.

This place was pretty good and seems to be in the middle of an upgrade. I was a little wary when booking because of some reviews so I should address my experience: Multiple reviews said they find the check in process to be complicated, especially for non English speakers. My experience was pretty straightforward. I was able to easily scan the QR code and get in touch with management, and they were able to conduct my check-in in English no problem. The hotel seemed to be called something different to what it was listed as on my booking though so this may cause confusion, but not a problem. Others also mentioned that the rooms are not cleaned frequently, but I saw housekeeping every day I was there, and I was given fresh bottled water daily which was helpful. The hotel also had maintainence staff arrive doing improvements so that's probably good too. Overall a good stay, I would use this place again in future.

I love this hotel for the location and especially a lot of going on nearby the hotel. I happened to come across good bakery and 24 hour 7-11 which is quite good. The bathroom is really cleaned and equipped with the bath tub.

The hotel is not bad, it feels like a home hotel in mainland China, the rooms are not big but the layout of the mattresses and everything are neat, and the price is reasonable in Taiwan, which is an inch of land.
Tango Inn Taipei JiHe

Shilin Night Market
Advantages: 1. The location is super convenient! Take the MRT to Jiantan Station, exit 2 and cross the road directly, and walk for 1 minute. The entrance is a bit inconspicuous, with automatic black railing doors. 2. The counter staff is very kind and the service attitude is great. 3. The friendship hall is very clean and well lit. Although there is no breakfast, there is a buffet light food. Coffee machines and tea bags are also available 24 hours a day. 4. The room is slightly smaller but everything is available, the bed is very good to sleep, there is a separate balcony and washing machine, it is very intimate for long-term tourists, and free laundry detergent, laundry basket, etc. There are also washing machines available in public areas. Disadvantages: The lighting in the room is slightly darker, and the facilities are not given full marks because the night light above the bed edge is loose. At first, I thought that the armrest would be obviously shaken when it touched; the curtains were relatively heavy and not easy to open because of the full-face floor-to-ceiling windows; Finally, the bathroom dry and wet separation, the transparent sliding door seems to have a gap will seep, so after the shower, the water droplets will flow along the grooves, so that the floor near the toilet will be obviously wet.
