"The hotel's location is a big plus, just a 10-minute walk to Beppu Station and right next to DONKI. The room was new and clean, and the balcony offered a beautiful sea view. However, a downside was that each bed only came with one pillow, and there was an extra charge for an additional one. What was truly frustrating and disrespectful was that due to a staff error, I was incorrectly charged, and the way they handled the issue afterward was very upsetting. Fortunately, Trip.com intervened in the end to resolve the problem."

"The room was great, and the hotel facilities were decent. The Japanese dinner and breakfast are worth trying for the experience, though the taste was just average and the portions were small. It's about a 15-minute walk from Beppu Station to the hotel. Coming from Oita Airport, it was quite a distance. Most Japanese hotels have an 11 AM check-out, which is fine, but this hotel's check-out is even earlier at 10 AM. You basically have to pack up and leave right after breakfast, which wasn't very convenient. Surprisingly, the kids' meal tasted better. Don Quijote is super close, about a 7-8 minute walk."

Situated right on the busiest commercial street leading out from the station, finding great food and drinks is effortless! Traveling solo, I booked a room in the annex. The great thing about this hotel, though, is that guests can share the large communal bath, open-air pool, and soaking tubs on the rooftop of the main building. At around 400 RMB per night, the value for money is unbeatable. The room itself is quite cramped, typical of a standard Japanese hotel, with nothing particularly standout about it. All in all, if you stay here, you *must* check out the main building's large communal bath—it's totally worth the price of admission! Next time I visit with friends, I'll definitely stay in the main building for a much more spacious and comfortable room!"
