Strategic location, just across the bus stop I was riding from Fukuoka airport. It was not far away from Beppu Station.

A lovely relaxing hotel right on the Beppu beach road. There was a definite air of old seaside town about the place and it was very chill - the onsen in the hotel itself was very nice and wasn't at all busy when we were there. The breakfast however did get quite crowded with tour groups so going down later worked the best for us - if you had to go in peak time there was often a queue. The room was compact but very comfortable and had all the things needed for a comfy stay. Staff were lovely and the japanese pj's provided we're a nice touch. Fantastic location for traveling around beppu as well as arriving from Fukuoka and leaving to Oita airport. The hotel is right next to both bus stops.

Long time to checkin with lots of japanese groups swarming in numbers which clogged up the checkin process. Groups should be dealt with on the side with a dedicated counter to not obstruct individuals. The checkin attendant did not speak much English, was not overly friendly and welcoming. Provided minimal information on the facilities. The room was a bit of a let down, bathroom was like a porta-loo. Breakfast was very average. The onsite Onsen was the best thing about the hotel.

Excellent value for money, convenient for transportation and shopping, and the hotel facilities and surroundings were all great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beppu. I hope more Chinese-speaking tourists choose this hotel.
