"Excellent, absolutely fantastic! The room is quite spacious, with a separate bedroom and other areas, plus a small sofa. The 14th floor has a large public bath, and the 15th floor boasts a rooftop pool with views of both mountains and the sea! (Remember to bring your swimsuit!) The breakfast is also amazing, with tempura, seafood bowls, Oita kamameshi, unlimited spicy mentaiko, and even sparkling wine. The front desk staff can speak Chinese, English, and Japanese, and they offer luggage storage. The lobby has a very stylish design. Plus, there are many super affordable public bathhouses nearby."

"## Environment: The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Beppu Station. There's a Lawson nearby and plenty of restaurants. You can walk to the beach in about 10 minutes. On the 3rd floor, there's a free hot spring. If you want to use it, you can pick up a yukata and belt from the toiletries area on the first floor. It's on a lower level, and I didn't see it at first, so I had to come back down to get it. There's a good selection of toiletries, including disposable makeup remover and facial cleanser. ## Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness was decent. The facilities were a bit old but still clean. The hot spring only had two hot pools, one cold pool, and a sauna. There was also an outdoor pool just big enough for one person. You just take off your clothes, rinse off, and then soak. However, when I was soaking, I noticed a lot of what looked like exfoliated dirt floating in the pool. The water circulation didn't seem to be very timely, so I only soaked for a short while and then left. ## Facilities: There's a washing machine and dryer, which I think cost 300 yen per use. The room has a refrigerator, but it doesn't seem to have a microwave; that's probably in a common area. It's quite quiet. ## Service: The service was very friendly. Opposite the restroom on the first floor, there's a self-service luggage storage area where you can set your own password and retrieve your belongings, which is very convenient."

"The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Beppu Station. It was raining on the day we arrived, so we took a taxi which cost around 50 HKD. We had a fantastic sea-view room. Although the facilities were a bit old, they were very well maintained. The breakfast was abundant and also served in a restaurant with an amazing sea view. A truly great experience."

"This Japanese-style hotel offers amazing value for money, especially with its beautiful sea views. I booked the one-night, two-meal plan, and the food was incredibly generous – I even had a lot of beef leftover from dinner the second night, which was a shame! The staff were all very friendly, and the sea view was absolutely stunning."

"This hotel is an annex of AMANEK YULA-RE, granting guests access to the main building's 16th-floor public bath (onsen) and 17th-floor outdoor infinity pool and Jacuzzi. **Pros:** 1. **Excellent Location:** It's just a 5-minute walk from the JR station, the bus stop for Fukuoka, and the bus stop for the Beppu Hells. The Fukuoka-bound bus station (located near a shopping mall) is also conveniently reachable within a 10-minute walk. 2. **Stunning Infinity Pool:** The infinity pool offers breathtaking views, including Beppu Tower, and is perfect for photos. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during my stay, so it was deserted during the day. The operating hours are quite reasonable, covering most of the day during my visit. 3. **Impressive Lobby & Dining:** The main building's lobby boasts an impressive design. Dining options are available on the first floor, and at 3300 JPY (approximately 160 RMB), the price is quite reasonable, comparable to what you'd expect at a star-rated hotel in China. 4. **Convenient Amenities & Services:** Shower caps and other amenities are available for collection at the front desk. Luggage storage is also provided. 5. **Spacious & Quiet Rooms:** Rooms are spacious. The hotel is quiet, ensuring a very good night's sleep."

"Good location being right across the bus and train station. The staff are nice and accommodating. Went there earlier than check in time but I was able to leave my luggage. I got to visit the Beppu Jigokus while I was out! During check in, i was assisted by the front desk and that made the process a lot quicker. All front desk staff I spoke to spoke English! Check out was done easily by giving the card back to front desk and confirming room number and number of people. Didn’t state a preference so i got a smoking room. When i entered there was a lingering smoke smell but it was a quick fix with the air purifier available. Amenities are available by the 2 floor elevator where the reception is. Breakfast is 6:30to 9:30 just present card key to restaurant staff. They were also very nice. Overall, would book again for the next Beppu stay. I might even get to try the onsen next time."

Additionally, the women's hot spring bath was recently undergoing renovations, meaning men and women had to use the onsen at separate, designated times."

"The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view."

"The hotel is much better in person than in the photos on Ctrip; it's arguably the best value hotel in the area. First, the room facilities are very new, clearly recently renovated, newer than most hotels in the area. Second, the location is excellent, right in the heart of the town's tourist attractions and transportation hub, offering a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The food is also excellent; I stayed for three days, and the food improved each day. On the third night, they served lobster for dinner, and the guests who were only staying one night were whispering among themselves, assuming we had paid extra for a more expensive meal."

"Transportation: Very convenient. It's only a 10-minute walk to JR Beppu Station. For my bus trip to Fukuoka, the bus stop (right outside Starbucks) was just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Facilities: This is a resort-style hotel, and I was lucky enough to snag a sea-view room where the first rays of morning sun streamed directly in. The room was very spacious, more than enough for two people; it actually felt a bit large for just myself. It was approximately 10 tatami mats in size (excluding the bathroom, separate toilet, entryway, and balcony). Cleanliness: As it was a Japanese-style room, it was generally clean, but there were some small bugs. I got a few bites on my fingers and bottom, but they cleared up by the next day. Ambiance: The balcony offered a direct view of the ocean. The 260-degree sea view room was truly impressive. Service: Overall, the service was very good. The only area that needs improvement is the hot spring on the 7th floor. On the day of my arrival, I made a reservation for the hot spring with the hotel, but I didn't receive any confirmation or proof. Consequently, I didn't actually go. However, I was still charged either 1000 or 1500 yen for it at check-out. It's a small amount, so I didn't bother disputing it with the front desk, but I do think their booking and confirmation process for the hot spring needs significant improvement."
