The open-air hot spring is on the seventh floor of the new building next door, and there is a connecting corridor on the third floor of the main building. The open-air hot spring is only outdoors, and the view is great, facing the sea! If you book a meal that includes dinner and breakfast, you will be admitted from 5 to 5:30 for the first dinner session, and you can eat for about two hours. Go early to get seaside seats. The freshly fried steak is delicious and tender. There is also freshly fried tempura. There are crabs, salmon and sweet shrimps. There are not many dishes but they are quite fresh. Breakfast is just ordinary, not bad. There is also Don Quixote near the hotel. Just walk there for ten minutes. It is open until late so you can go shopping. The sea view is beautiful. It is very comfortable to wake up and lie down to watch the sunrise. The dinner is very rich. There are two different hot springs in the open air and indoors. You need to take the connecting line in the building. Breakfast is on the top floor. You can enjoy the sea view or city view while eating. It is packed with local Japanese guests staying on weekends, and prices have also risen. It is recommended to stay on weekdays for a better experience and better value for money.

This was the hotel I chose instead of Suginoi. It was a hot spring hotel 30 seconds away from Beppu Kitahama bus stop. The staff was friendly and it was great to be able to wear a yukata and go around the building's hot springs and restaurants.
