Beppu Hatto Onyado Nono Beppu

We stayed at this hotel in Beppu this time and I highly recommend it! The beds in the room were quite large; although it said 0.8m for a random room, it was actually 1.1m, which was great. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. You need a password to enter the women's onsen, but not for the men's. If there are a lot of people, you might have to wait for the private onsen. We arrived on a Sunday, so it wasn't too crowded, and the experience was fantastic! After soaking in the onsen, there are free cold drinks you can help yourself to, and at 10 PM, there are free noodles in the lobby on the first floor. This hotel seems to have a lot of Korean guests, and the front desk staff were very friendly. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance!

This hotel has seven private hot springs, and I made sure to try each one. When I went, there were initially two empty ones, and after I used those, I moved on to the others until I had experienced all seven. There's also an eighth large hot spring, which felt like I had it all to myself – completely empty! So I enjoyed another soak there. They offer several types of shampoo, but the original one they provide is actually the best. The hotel also has seven hot spring pools, all modeled after natural springs. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. They even post the sunrise times, and you can go up to watch it, though I missed it this morning. And they have Yakult! Anyway, everything was really great.

My friends have always recommended this hotel, so I decided to treat myself to a two-day stay during my vacation. It met my expectations. The pillows were a bit firm, but surprisingly comfortable for me. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

The location is unbeatable; you can see the hotel right from the station and it's just a hundred meters across the road. You have to take off your shoes when you enter, and the hotel's hygiene is excellent. The front desk staff speak very good English. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage and go sightseeing. We arrived at noon and, being too lazy to queue at popular spots, found a good BBQ restaurant just 300 meters further down the road from the hotel. After eating, we took a bus to Umi Jigoku. We booked the half-board plan, but honestly, dinner wasn't really necessary; it was a buffet and the taste was quite average. One male server with long hair was rather aloof, while the older, senior servers were much more professional. Around 10 PM, everyone in the hotel comes down for free ramen, which creates a really lively atmosphere. For the hot springs, I recommend going around 3:30 PM, and again between 6 and 7 PM when most people are having dinner. You'll pretty much have the famous pools to yourself for those perfect photo ops.

The hotel is great, and the bed is huge. I'll definitely stay here again. It even has a private hot spring. Plus, they offer free noodles in the evening.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! It's super convenient, just a 3-5 minute walk from Beppu Station. It's a traditional all-tatami hotel, so you take off your shoes upon entering. On the first floor, there's an ice maker and a coffee machine, which is a nice touch. I booked a random room and was pleasantly surprised to get a twin room. The bathroom has a fantastic wet/dry separation. The private onsen on the top floor was an incredible experience; after a relaxing soak, you can sit by the window, enjoy the night view, and eat ice cream. The complimentary ramen in the evening was delicious, and breakfast was incredibly abundant, with the seafood rice bowl and beef being particularly tasty.

The next time I visit Fukuoka, it'll be just to come straight to Beppu and stay here, soak in the hot springs, and eat ramen... This hotel is just fantastic, super close to the station... amazing. I love this town because of this hotel.
