We enjoyed the hospitality, food and drinks. There are 2 malls close to this apartment hotel which is attached to Sofitel."

"The location is great, but one should reserve a room with a view to the main square. Breakfast was great for western standards in Ch. Taxis easy to fetch. We would go there again if needed."

ELEGANT GARDEN HOTEL

"This is a pure fancy hotel. I booked a three-day stay because of its decoration quality. But on the first day, I encountered a weirdo smoking in the elevator. The power was out for half an hour on the second night, and there was no hot water after the power came back on. I called the front desk three times but no one answered. I would like to give a special praise to Ctrip's customer service, who was very considerate and reported the problem to the hotel on my behalf. The air conditioner in the room was very hot, the quilt was very loose, the display screen was broken, and there seemed to be many varieties of breakfast, but they were mostly half-finished products and the ingredients were very average. The only thing I recommend is the good location, with many local restaurants around."

Macrolink Hotel Ocean Resort

"We booked two ocean-themed twin rooms in advance, arriving at midnight, but there were no rooms available. They said it was because we arrived too late. The lights outside the hotel weren't working, the staff were rude, the room key card was loose, causing the electrical box to rattle, and there was a power outage in the middle of the night. The room was unclean; there was a lot of dust in the bathroom and around the windows. The toilet seat was made of wood and made a creaking sound when you sat on it. The breakfast was mediocre."
