Very nice hotel - centrally located The hotel is very clean. The room was big and comfortable with good amenities and very comfortable beds. Our room was clean and good. It was also possible to open the window a little if you want fresh air. The hotel is located «above» a mall, you must take the elevator to the 19th floor where the reception and restaurant is located. This was absolutely no problem, and the location is excellent. There is a vibrant and modern area around the hotel. It’s not close to the railway station, but catching taxi or even bus is easy. The breakfast was very good and had a nice selection of Chinese food. Tasty and fresh dishes, and nice service from the staff in the restaurant. The service of the staff in the reception was very good. We stayed for two nights, first one and then we returned again because of the good service and overall quality of the hotel. The staff didn’t exercise much English, but with the translation apps it’s absolutely no problem to communicate. If you have WeChat it’s super easy to communicate - the hotel has its own WeChat. BoLi Hotel provided a very good experience and we can truly recommend this hotel.

The property is conveniently located about 1.5 km from Kunming Railway Station, making it an ideal choice for travelers heading to Lhasa via the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast offered a variety of tasty dishes. The reception staff were very helpful and enthusiastic; they assisted us in hailing a taxi and communicating with others. They gifted us some small cute things as thankful for customers. Highly recommend to others. Khách sạn có vị trí thuận tiện, cách Ga xe lửa Côn Minh khoảng 1,5 km, là lựa chọn lý tưởng cho du khách đi đến Lhasa qua Đường sắt Thanh Hải-Tây Tạng. Các phòng sạch sẽ và được trang trí đẹp mắt, bữa sáng cung cấp nhiều món ăn ngon. Nhân viên lễ tân rất giúp đỡ và nhiệt tình; họ hỗ trợ chúng tôi gọi taxi và giao tiếp với những người khác. Very nice clean hotel. Helpful staff. Room modern, clean and just right. Mine didn't have a closet or a safe but that's not such a big deal. This next point isn't about this particular hotel but for all girls in China. Please make it more accessible to non-chinese speaking foreigners. Each of the girls I started with during my trip, do not make any attempt or even try to care. China is getting super automated and self-service but their smart devices and controllers ranging from in-room controls to within the property like room service and delivery robots could also understand English would be fantastic. It's so much cheaper to add a new language to these agents than to have all their staff learn English and it would enhance our experience by a 100x as we would never bother the hotel staff with anything.

Pros: The hotel’s location is excellent for business travelers, with a large supermarket just 1.1 km away (within walking distance). The bed is comfortable, ensuring a good sleep throughout my 4-night stay. The facilities are well-maintained and fully functional, even though the style is a bit old-fashioned. The front desk staff are very helpful — although their English is limited, they made great efforts to assist using a translation app. Thanks to their enthusiasm, I was able to book trips to Ta’er Temple and Qilian Temple. I was really impressed by their willingness to help. breakfast and coffee are delicious .I love it. Cons: Although it’s supposed to be a non-smoking floor, it’s hard to avoid the smell of cigarette smoke.

Spacious, clean and comfortable new hotel . Dinner in the restaurant was delicious . We loved the stir fried vegetable ,and chicken dish which was juicy and seasoned well. Thumbs up to the chef and also to the waiter and waitress who served us that night. This hotel was a great choice as a base for our Qinghai-Gandhi Grand Loop . I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Xining.

The hotel service was impeccable, with great attention to detail. This included the way glasses were carefully handed and held, the thoughtful recommendations, the staff’s soft and calm tone of voice, the complimentary homemade and delicious yogurt offered every afternoon, and the genuine effort to overcome the language barrier. As an opportunity for improvement, I would suggest offering more low-fat or fat-free options at breakfast and in the restaurant. I am a little disappointed. Advertising said English speaking staff. One lady spoke some English but mainly used translator - which is fine - but communication was very difficult. I experienced the following issues: The room was extremely hot and it seems it’s centrally controlled. When I said it was too hot they didn’t adjust it but gave me a humidifier which didn’t help with temperature. When I was checking out I asked to help to call the taxi - their initial response was to walk - 15min. I have 3 heavy bags and am also feeling sick so I didn’t want to walk. I asked again later - they just said hi to the bus stop and get a taxi. I was surprised that they couldn’t be bothered to down with me and get one for me - knowing that I can’t speak Chinese - it’s few minutes of their time. They were standing around not doing anything anyway. So very disappointed overall. One positive is that they packed me a small takeaway breakfast for fist morning when I had to leave early. Please try to help your guests - small gestures of care makes a big difference!
