Our Qinghai-Gansu grand loop trip ended perfectly. We stayed at this hotel on our first day of the journey and chose to stay here again on our way back. Coincidentally, the lovely front desk lady who checked us in on the first day was also there to greet us. The service throughout our stay was consistently thoughtful and reliable, making us feel incredibly warm and cared for after a long journey. A huge thank you to her for her enthusiastic and attentive care. If I ever travel to the Northwest again, I will definitely choose this place and look for her again!

On this business trip to Xining, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong the entire time, and my overall experience was fantastic. I have to especially commend Julie at the front desk; her meticulous service made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is located on Bayi East Road in Chengdong District, right next to Wuyue Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the highway entrance and Xining Station, which is great for both driving and public transport. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby design is elegant, and the room amenities are brand new and complete. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, and the room was spotlessly clean. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including local Qinghai specialties like yak yogurt and甜醅 (sweet fermented oats). I arrived feeling exhausted in the evening after a long journey. Julie greeted me with a constant smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Seeing my heavy luggage, she proactively offered to help carry it and patiently explained the room facilities, Wi-Fi password, laundry room, and breakfast times. When I casually asked about self-driving routes to Qinghai Lake and local food spots, she patiently outlined an itinerary, even recommending niche attractions and reminding me about precautions for high-altitude travel. When my room card stopped working, I contacted the front desk and Julie came to resolve the issue within minutes, without any pretense. Her service was professional yet down-to-earth throughout, without any rigid formalities; she genuinely thought about the guests. While good hardware is a hotel's foundation, warm service is what truly adds value. Thanks to Julie's thoughtful service, my travel fatigue disappeared. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xining, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Good hotel, very modern and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. For the price it's great. However, we couldn't enjoy the breakfast much as it starts at 7:30, which is already fairly late for a hotel, and by 7:40 not even half of the breakfast was prepared and we had to leave, would have liked to try it especially considering it was included in the room and what we ate of it was fairly tasty. The curtain behind the bathtub doesnt sit in line with the wall so there is a bright light throughout the night from outside. The hotel was a bit difficult to find especially finding the Correct parking area for the building. The elevators are shared elevators and took over 10 minutes to go up to the 25th floor . And took 5 minutes of waiting to go down one floor to the reception, before we decided to take the stairs(which are very dirty) Apart from the above the hotel was very good and comfortable, clothes washing facilities were clean, coffee in the reception, and a cool fish tank along with very friendly helpful staff.

I booked this hotel last minute for a sudden business trip. On the way, I accidentally lost my charger, and I urgently needed to work that evening. I contacted the front desk just to try my luck. The staff quickly brought charging equipment and thoughtfully reminded me to call if I needed anything else. The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corners were spotless, and the bed was soft and quiet. I worked late into the night, and there was hardly any noise in the hallway, so I slept very soundly. The location is convenient for getting around, and the overall atmosphere is warm. A small, unexpected hiccup actually made this stay particularly memorable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time because this hotel is just so heartwarming, and the service is incredibly attentive. Aside from the view outside the window, just this detailed and thoughtful service alone left a great impression. It's excellent value for money and well worth staying.

After comparing a few hotels, I still decided to go with Sofitel! And I'm so glad I did, it was a truly nice experience. Firstly, the hotel has a fantastic design; it doesn't feel old or dated at all, and the facilities are impeccably maintained, definitely five-star standard. Secondly, the billiard and ping-pong rooms are a real highlight! Thirdly, the service was incredibly thoughtful. It just so happened to be my birthday during my stay, and my butler, Xiao Qi, thoughtfully delivered a birthday cake – I was truly touched!

I had a truly great stay here, largely thanks to the incredible staff. The hotel is located in a fantastic spot - very close to the Dongguan Grand Mosque and Xia Nanguan Street, which is perfect for food shopping and enjoying nighttime street food. The design of the hotel has a nice vintage charm to it—nothing overly flashy, but it's very clean and comfortable, and I had no complaints at all. They also offer private parking, which is really convenient if you're renting a car. What really made my stay special was the service. The staff went above and beyond for me. I was struggling with bad altitude sickness, and without me even saying a word, the front desk team noticed how I was feeling and kindly sent medicine, yogurt, and an oxygen canister to my room. That kind of care means so much. Later that night, my room was a bit too warm, and even though it was late, the night staff happily helped me switch rooms. I’m so grateful. A special thank you to Ms. Ma Ping for all her help and kindness. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xining—you'll be in good hands here. 我在这家酒店住得非常愉快，最主要的原因是这里的服务人员实在太棒了。酒店的位置很好，离东关大清真寺和下南关街都很近，那边非常适合买吃的，晚上也有热闹的街头小吃。酒店的设计带点复古的怀旧风格，不是那种很浮夸的类型，但非常干净舒适，我完全没有任何不满意的地方。酒店还有自己的私人停车场，对于自驾的客人来说非常方便。真正让这次住宿变得特别的是他们的服务。我当时高原反应挺严重的，结果完全不用我开口，前台的工作人员看到我的状况后，主动送来了药、酸奶和一瓶氧气到我的房间。这种细心和关怀真的让人很感动。晚上我的房间有点太暖，尽管已经很晚了，夜班的工作人员还是很乐意帮我换了房间，我真的很感激。特别感谢马平女士对我所有的帮助。我一定会把这家酒店推荐给要来西宁的旅客 - 你们在这里一定会被好好照顾的。

The facilities are complete, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The place is clean and tidy, the environment is quiet, and the service lady is very thoughtful. It was a rare and pleasant stay. The hotel staff are very kind, and the food at the restaurant on the second floor is delicious.

The location is super convenient, close to major transport hubs and business districts, making it easy to get around and find food. This really saves on commute time. The room has all the basic amenities, and the bedding is reasonably comfortable. Hot water and Wi-Fi are stable, fulfilling basic rest needs. Hygiene is up to par; there are no noticeable odors or stains in public areas or the guest room, and daily cleaning is well-maintained. The price is very reasonable, offering good value for money compared to other places in the same area and category. It's ideal for short stays or business trips.

I am a little disappointed. Advertising said English speaking staff. One lady spoke some English but mainly used translator - which is fine - but communication was very difficult. I experienced the following issues: The room was extremely hot and it seems it’s centrally controlled. When I said it was too hot they didn’t adjust it but gave me a humidifier which didn’t help with temperature. When I was checking out I asked to help to call the taxi - their initial response was to walk - 15min. I have 3 heavy bags and am also feeling sick so I didn’t want to walk. I asked again later - they just said hi to the bus stop and get a taxi. I was surprised that they couldn’t be bothered to down with me and get one for me - knowing that I can’t speak Chinese - it’s few minutes of their time. They were standing around not doing anything anyway. So very disappointed overall. One positive is that they packed me a small takeaway breakfast for fist morning when I had to leave early. Please try to help your guests - small gestures of care makes a big difference!

This is honestly the best deal in town. I have been coming to Xining for 10 years, stayed in different hotels each time. This is for sure my favourite one and the best deal in this range of prices. First, the location. Right in the city centre, with a lot of taxis coming by (this can be an issue for hotels in other locations, where taxis are more rare). It is super convenient and one can reach any part of town efficiently and quickly. There are many buses that go from here to anywhere in town. Second, the quality of the room, of the bed (super super cosy and comfortable, which is really nice after travelling roughly for two weeks in the nearby countryside), the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Very good hygiene products, not cheap toothpaste and soap like in other hotels. Third, and most importantly, the quality and warmth of the service. At the reception, the employees are very friendly and understanding, very warm-hearted, You feel really welcome in this hotel. They have helped me in several ways. especially Mrs Jane and Mrs Sunny Bai: fantastic people! They also speak English! Makes the whole stay memorable, enjoyable, relaxing. I will surely come back here next time. This is an upper-tier hotel made available with affordable prices. Thank you!
