Hotels in Commercial Lane, Xining

This is my go-to hotel for every business trip. The service, facilities, and location are all impeccable. The bedding is comfortable, and everything is spotlessly clean. Wanda J's service attitude was excellent; she helped us upgrade our room type and thoroughly explained the hotel's member benefits. I genuinely recommend this place for anyone on a business trip. From the hotel room window, you can see the Huangshui River and the currently popular Xinghai Road. All in all, this is definitely the top choice for both vacations and business travel.

The location was quiet enough so there's no traffic noise. It's close to shops and restaurants. But to find the entrance to the hotel was confusing because it's at the back of the building. The room is very old and they tried to decorate it with an American theme with old furniture. But the walls seem to have recently been re-painted. The jacuzzi might suit some people but we find it a waste of space. One of the staff speaks English so it's a bonus. Breakfast was good with a variety of selections.

My stay at Xining Chaidamu International Hotel was excellent! It's ideally located in the heart of Haihu New District, right next to a commercial area, making getting around super convenient. The lobby is grand and elegant, and the room was spacious and clean with comfortable bedding and great soundproofing. The humidifier was a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the underground parking was very convenient. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money, perfect for both leisure and business travelers. Highly recommend!

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and each experience has been consistently excellent. Its prime location in the heart of the business district means you step out right into a shopper's and foodie's paradise, and public transportation is super convenient. I particularly love the high-floor rooms; the views are absolutely stunning, especially watching the city skyline at sunset – it's an instant mood booster. There's also a free gym on the top floor with new equipment and hardly any people, which is perfect for unwinding after a workout. The breakfast deserves special mention; it offers everything from local delicacies to Western hot dishes, and you could eat there for days without repeating a meal. The bedding is soft, conforming, and provides just the right support, ensuring a full night's sleep. Considering the location, views, service, and attention to detail, it's definitely a five-star recommendation!

Staying at this hotel was a great experience. The front desk staff was very welcoming, and the lobby's decor was beautiful. They offer a variety of services, and responses were always quick. They even have robots deliver food orders directly to your room! The breakfast on the second floor is a buffet with tasty options, including potato buns, beef noodles, and rice noodles. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. Any issues in the room were addressed promptly and resolved well. The hotel is conveniently located opposite Central Square, and it's close to the airport shuttle. Plus, there's a Wangfujing supermarket and various local snacks nearby. When I asked about good places to eat, the front desk staff gave excellent recommendations.

The hotel's location is excellent and easy to find. The hotel was very clean, and the front desk staff were patient and helpful. The rooms are well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. There's a supermarket right downstairs, which was very convenient for shopping. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and even a larger supermarket, making everything very convenient. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back next time.

Location: Centrally located yet quiet, conveniently close to the Provincial Museum and easily accessible by car. Service: Professional, likely due to their frequent corporate guests. We received a complimentary (and delicious!) Qinghai yogurt upon check-in. Facilities: The room was spacious and bright, equipped with a humidifier. We were upgraded to a higher floor, offering excellent views. Breakfast: A good variety of dishes, and items were replenished promptly. The yogurt was delicious. Drawbacks: Firstly, regarding facilities, there was no physical separation between the bathroom area and the bed. While this created an open feel, it compromised privacy and proper zoning. Additionally, the layout was a bit awkward: the tea/coffee station was immediately to the left upon entering, with the wardrobe further inside, which wasn't a very practical flow. Secondly, I struggled to figure out how to switch the shower function on the bathtub faucet, and the water temperature wasn't as hot as in the main shower. Thirdly, when I asked for a to-go cup for coffee at breakfast, the staff member replied (verbatim): 'This is a buffet; you cannot take it out!😑' This felt a bit inflexible and lacked a personal touch. I'd suggest they learn from similar hotels in other popular tourist provinces to further enhance their service. Summary: My stay was in late August, towards the end of the peak tourist season. For a price of 400+ RMB per night, the facilities and service offered excellent value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mehood Hotel in Xining. The location is excellent — perfect for a stop before and after our trip to Yushu. As with many centrally located hotels, drop-off and pick-up are a short walk from the entrance, but this wasn’t an issue for us. The lifts are shared and can get a bit busy at times, but once on the hotel floor, it’s peaceful and quiet. The breakfast offers a good variety, mostly Chinese dishes, but the staff were understanding and didn’t mind us bringing extra food for the children. The staff were consistently friendly and especially kind to our kids, which made our stay even more pleasant. I really appreciated the laundry room with washing machines — being able to do our own laundry was such a bonus during our travels. The air conditioning wasn’t working but the staff quickly moved us to a cooler room on the other side of the hotel, which we really appreciated. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in Xining. We’d happily come back!

This hotel is outstanding! Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, non-smoking, and very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. The free washing and drying machines are very convenient. And the service is also excellent. We stayed in multiple hotels during our recent trip, and this was probably the best one of all of them. The location is around the corner from very good restaurants, and is within a 15 minute walk from the huge Wanda plaza mall where there are dozens of great options for food (and everything else!) I wish we had more time here, as it was truly a pleasure.

I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel, as it was the last night of our trip, and the one we stayed at on our first day in Xining was absolutely infuriating! However, Xingwang International Hotel was a wonderful surprise! We were on the 22nd floor, and the room was spotless, even equipped with an air purifier. The view from the window was also lovely! It's super close to Mojia Street, just a short walk away. If I ever get the chance to revisit Xining, I would definitely choose to stay here again!
