On my road trip through Qinghai and Gansu, this hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, allowing me to get a great rest after a long day of driving. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, parking was convenient, and the amenities were comprehensive. The location is also very convenient, saving time and effort when getting around. The attention to detail was impressive, it offered great value for money, and they even had late-night snacks! It's a perfect stop for a long road trip. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

5-star recommendation! I stayed at the Vienna Hotel Xi'an Haihu Wanda Plaza, and the location is absolutely fantastic. Wanda Plaza is right downstairs, so dining, shopping, and entertainment are all conveniently accessible. Getting around was incredibly easy. The front desk staff processed my check-in quickly and were warm and polite. The room was spotless, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, the mattress was just right—neither too soft nor too hard—and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The facilities were comprehensive, offering excellent value for money. This is definitely my top choice for visiting Xi'an; I'll be staying here again next time!

My stay here exceeded expectations. The hotel facilities are well-equipped, and the environment is very clean and well-maintained. Both the front desk and room service staff were friendly. Getting around was incredibly convenient, with an airport shuttle stop right outside the door. The high-floor rooms offer stunning views, with the city's nightscape spread out before you. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, offering a wide array of local specialties, making it easy to find good food. It's truly ideal for out-of-town visitors, with everything being absolutely impeccable.

This hotel is a great value-for-money option located in Haihu New District, about a 15-20 minute drive from Xining's old town. The decor is modern and bright, and the rooms are quite spacious, featuring a sofa and a small workstation. The blackboard-style message area is a nice touch. The rooms are highly automated, with a smart TV that allows screen mirroring and a mini-fridge with complimentary drinks. The breakfast offers everything you'd expect from a Hampton Inn of this caliber. Right next to the hotel is a famous local seafood restaurant, and directly across the street, there's an entire strip of convenient eateries. However, note that it's a 10-15 minute walk to Wanda Plaza, so it's not super close. Also, due to road construction right outside the hotel, you might need to walk a short distance to the parking lot entrance to catch a taxi.

The location is great, right across from Wanda Plaza, making shopping, leisure, and dining super convenient. There's plenty of parking both above ground and underground. The hotel facilities are decent; not new, but not run-down either. Most hotels in Xining don't have air conditioning. Breakfast selection is good – not super extensive, but all the essentials are there. The staff are all very enthusiastic and respond quickly. Given it's peak season, the price is what it is. Overall, I'm satisfied; you can't have everything.

After comparing a few hotels, I still decided to go with Sofitel! And I'm so glad I did, it was a truly nice experience. Firstly, the hotel has a fantastic design; it doesn't feel old or dated at all, and the facilities are impeccably maintained, definitely five-star standard. Secondly, the billiard and ping-pong rooms are a real highlight! Thirdly, the service was incredibly thoughtful. It just so happened to be my birthday during my stay, and my butler, Xiao Qi, thoughtfully delivered a birthday cake – I was truly touched!

The room was spacious and the facilities were all good. The location is excellent with plenty of snack options nearby, making food delivery incredibly convenient. The staff were very enthusiastic and responsive to our needs, which left us with a great impression of Xining. This hotel offers good value for money.

This was our second stay at the hotel after returning from Chaka. We stayed in a Family Room again, this time with a different princess-themed bedsheet design. The water pressure was better than during our first stay, although it could still be improved. Perhaps we are simply accustomed to stronger shower pressure. We had a good steamboat dinner along the street right beside the hotel on a cooling evening. There is a small unit on upper level selling drinks and snacks. But we went to the one along the street.

This was by far the worst hotel we stayed at on our Qinghai-Gansu loop tour, completely lacking any sense of service. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and even the greeters, we felt no warmth and were met with cold faces almost everywhere. The room phone was always unreachable and there were no instructions on how to use it. I really don't understand how this hotel operates and is managed. No matter how grand its appearance, it'll be hard to attract repeat customers with service like that. Quite a disappointment.
