Just fantastic. Hermanus is a beautiful little place anyhow but with a stay at “On the Cliff” the trip was topped off perfectly. I’ve never had such an extensive breakfast in all of my travels which really kick started my day. Thank you.

The room was booked for two of my girlfriends, but I visited them and so I have an idea of this hotel. The big room is a shower, a bathroom and a toilet. Clean every day. There is a swimming pool on the territory and up to the center of 10 minutes walk. Thank you all very much !

Had a splendid 2 night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff made us feel so welcome. They are exceptionally polite and well informed on the surrounding area. We were provided with a map full of helpful suggestions, and a thorough introduction to the lodge and all it's facilities upon check-in. The lodge is located right next to Hermanus New Harbour and a few steps from the cliff path, which is well worth the walk. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It opens onto a beautiful, well maintained garden area but a few steps from the pool. Breakfast was fantastic (reccommend the Full English!), and a lovely selection of breads, cereals, fruits, cold meats, yogurts etc at the buffet. Truly, no complaints. Would absolutely stay again.

The room is a duplex, suitable for family booking. It is equipped with a kitchen (with a microwave). The room was large, and couples travelling was a little wasteful. Because in a shopping mall, all have three layers of security systems, and safety is guaranteed.

I liked Baleia. Friendly staff and check-in, even when we were a bit late. Rooms were big and had everything needed. Location and breakfast were good. The only downside is that they seem to have run out of hot water due to a big group staying there. Considering the price, not having hot water was not great, imo. Hopefully this won’t be an issue for other guests in the future.
