The room itself in the hotel was amazing and especially considering the price we paid. 10/10. There is a small convenience store next door at the bottom, which makes it easy to get essentials. There is a man, I didn't get his name. He was on night shifts at the front desk with glasses and was by far the most helpful hotel receptionist I've ever met. These things make me look back very fondly on my stay at Sanyu.

Good locale. Service staff excellent! Breakfast spread worth the value. Hotel changes their menu and not repeat all the same items.
However they should look into the coffee bean maker as it was really slow to churn out a good cup of coffee! Could be that the piping needs to be checked or even cleaned out!?
Overall, it was a good experience. Hallway to the rooms lighting uses sensor, which perhaps need to be adjusted, as it requires heavy stomping of the feet to light up. Thanks!

The price/performance ratio is pretty good. For example, the price, location, etc. are pretty good. It's just that it's on the 23rd or 24th floor of an office building. This is really an International Hotel with 5 star standard. Service, amenities and room toiletries is of premium quality except the central aircon is not switched on so the room temperature is at 25°C cannot be adjusted much lower, only can switch to fan full blast but not cold. When I lodge a complaint, the staff says they don't switch the central aircon for month of May but advise to just open the window as it gets cold in the evening. The cold air do come in through the window to keep the room cool.They will switch on the central aircon in month of June and July when it's very hot. Overall I love this hotel as it's next to the railway station and many local street food around the hotel. Highly recommended!

The room is large, and it is very warm in winter, but it is a bit too hot. The central air conditioner cannot adjust the temperature, which is a shortcoming. I hope it can be rectified and optimized. The cleaning is clean, the bed is soft and comfortable, and the room facilities are complete. It is really great that the whole room is smart and does not require a card to access electricity. The atomized glass is also one of the features that enhances happiness. The room facilities are all new. It is said that a hotel cannot do without service, so I have to mention the switchboard Xiaohui. He patiently answered all my questions and I have to give him a thumbs up for his professionalism, including asking about room facilities, introducing the room, and surrounding attractions. I am writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessional conduct of two male front desk staff members I encountered during my recent stay at this hotel.
I approached the front desk to inquire about to extend my stay. The two staff members I interacted with were both rude and dismissive, speaking to me without making eye contact and answering in a very loud voice. Their behavior was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome.
I understand that front desk staff members are often busy, but there is no excuse for treating guests with disrespect. I would appreciate it if you would address this matter with the staff members in question and ensure that all your employees are trained to provide excellent customer service.
I hope that my experience will be addressed and that future guests will not encounter the same issues.

Excellent location close to shopping and subway, heart of town. The lovely staff especially the housekeeping team at Floor 9B and the courteous and helpful staff at the restaurant. We loved the complimentary tea breaks and 银耳汤 and did lots of laundry as they thoughtfully provided 3 machines and a dryer in their laundry room. We had just spent 8 dusty days travelling Qinghai and Gansu so this amenity is such a blessing before we continue our journey to Shanghai.
What I didnt like was that the hotel was located in a building shared with a few other hotels and lots of offices so the lift has lots of other people sharing and somehow isnt private and is slow. Also to hail a cab, you need to go out to the main road because the building has no driveway.
But for the price we pay, the value way exceeds the cons.

來青海旅遊最後一天住的酒店 酒店衞生乾淨整潔，房間温馨寬敞，酒店位置優越，對面就是南禪寺，客房阿姨也很親切，前台妹妹也很熱情，旅遊旺季房間的價格也很實惠性價比高！還有免費的早餐，鹹奶茶第一次喝，味道很不錯，早餐種類也挺豐富，青海特色小吃，熱涼菜，包子豆漿各種。還有免費停車場，出去保安大叔會熱情告訴哪有好吃的，哪好玩。總歸是一次舒適愉悦的入住體驗，期待下次再來青海。

JJamesHarrisI will start off by saying that the room and bathroom were well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. However, whilst the room was generally clean, when I dropped something that subsequently rolled under a fitted unit, I was pretty disgusted to see the dust and filth beneath it. It clearly had not been cleaned for…well…ever? I appreciate that these areas will not be as clean as the more visible parts of the room, however for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable. I do not expect to find dirty tissues and a thick layer of dust and dirt anywhere in my hotel room. But by far the absolute worst part of my stay was the inability to control the temperature in the room whatsoever. The room was so swelteringly hot that despite the comfortable bed, and everything to go with it, I was almost unable to sleep at all. I do not expect this in a five star hotel(and have never experienced it other than here and at anther Wanda hotel in Hohhot), I pay for luxury; controlling the room temperature is a basic requirement that I can even do in a 50 yuan a night hostel dorm. When I asked the staff at reception the following morning I was told the AC wouldn’t be available until after April 15th because ‘it’s cold outside’. Firstly, I am not sleeping outside, I am sleeping inside, on the 22nd floor, where it is anything but cold. Not to mention it was April, not January, even in Xining it is not that cold. Secondly, as a paying guest, in a five star hotel, it should be up to me to decide if it is hot or cold, not the hotel. For this reason, as lovely as the room, staff and breakfast may have been, I would not stay here again. I checked out and moved to the lower rated Hilton, where I could control the room temperature and actually managed to sleep…generally what the whole point of a hotel is.

GGuest UserI went to the location provided by trip.com and checked into the hotel. Communication was difficult because the hotel staff did not speak English. The requested payment, although I had prepaid. It turned out that the hotel was not the one that I had booked and Chaoman Hotel was actually at a different address. It took a lengthy and cumbersome discussion with trip.com but eventually the situation was resolved and th original payment was reimbursed.

GGuest UserThe location of the Boli Yabu Hotel is very convenient. There are a lot of shops around.
Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome from the receptionist Xiao Yang. She helped us with the check-in and showed us the room. We also got a free upgrade to room with a nice view.
The room was very clean and comfortable. We got a free welcome snack and some fruits.
We would definitely recommend the hotel and book it again when returning to Xining.

XXiamiwaiwaiThanks to Ctrip housekeeper Zhang Zhang, because I originally booked the Pullman Hotel, but then Pullman lied to me and told me that there was no room and asked me to cancel the reservation. In fact, the price was increased, and the price of a single room increased by 200+! The housekeeper Zhang Zhang contacted me in time and could change me to the same level. I switched to this Pavilion. It is located in the East District. The parking lot is large and convenient. The hotel is newly opened this year. There will be a smell in the lobby and corridors, but there are no smell facilities in the room. Very good, it should be a higher level than Pullman. It comes with breakfast. The breakfast is rich and the beef noodles are delicious! Stayed for another night! ps: Pullman Hotel Xining Railway Station has increased prices to deceive customers. Hotels that make successful reservations and then deceive customers into canceling reservations hope that Ctrip can supervise it, because it does show that they have rooms later, but the unit price has increased by 200+! ! !

And it is right next to the railway station. It could be a bit noisy if u let the window open but if it is closed, it is perfectly fine. Self-laundry for free ( including washing detergent). Super friendly and helpful staff. We are very happy about the staying. ☺️

Tthe_wanderlust_jellyWas told I am given a free room upgrade, but honestly I can't tell the difference. Also the room in the listing image was larger and brighter but the actual room I received was extremely rather grim looking, not to mention it doesn't even look like half the room size in the listing image. I also can't seem to adjust the aircon temp as it will remain at room temperature no matter what I set, however xining is quite cooling in general so it's still acceptable. In the room I was give, the glass panel at the washroom side had a severely cracked side which seem like it will break if I had closed the glass door too hard. I took a video immediately before using the toilet in case it really does get shattered, but luckily it did not Very unsafe nevertheless. The shower was the worst, every night I had to gamble if it will be cold or scalding hot water. I set the shower value slightly towards the warm side, and the water became scalding hot within seocnds, and if I move it to the cold side, it became freezing cold within seconds. Even if I set it exactly in the middle, it will give me either one of the extreme temperature. Had to keep adjusting from hot to cold so that it stay at a comfortable and safe temp range. The toilet bowl flush in a very stupid manner too, by first flooding the bowl from bottom up, this means that if you took a dump and it's a slightly sticky one, it's gonna stick. The electric kettle was so noisy when turned on that it sound like a train passing right beside my room. And speaking of noise, the sound proofing of the room was one of the worst of every single hotel I stayed in before. You can literally hear new occupants dragging their luggage or family chattering non stop right after they exit the lift. FYI, my room was literally the furthest away. Every time your neighbors from 3 room away turn on their tap water, you can hear it, even if that's like 4am in the night. The hairdryer is a safety hazard too. Tried to use it once and after plugging in and turning it on, smoke immediately came oozing out of it, so I immediately switched it off and remove the plug. Never used it since. Oh yes one last thing I have to say is that as a hotel PLEASE NEVER USE MOVEMENT OR VOICE CONTROLLED LIGHTINGS. While I wash up every day, I had to keep waving my hands like an ***** every few minutes in order to prevent the lights from going out. The detection is sooooo off that unless there's a huge action at the correct spot, it will not turn the lights back. This was absolutely annoyance.
However the things I mentioned above are although not welcomed, but can be tolerated.
Personally, the only thing I really love about this was the free tea. And that is also a highly recommended must try. I believe that's ******* black tea which is also a local specialty. I regret not trying earlier because at the latter of my trip, I no longer pass by stores that sells ******* black tea. Recommendation to the hotel is include a way to buy some of this tea.
Overall, I will only recommend the hotel to someone who do not have any other choice or have a lower budget in mind.

The front desk helped us upgrade the projection room for free, and we were on a separate side. It seemed that we were in a room. The sound insulation was very good. The bed was large and it was very comfortable to sleep. At night, I used the projector to watch a movie before sleeping. I also sent two cups of yogurt for free. The taste was not bad. I will choose here next time I have the opportunity

SSusan LouiseWe are travelling through Gansu & Sichuan and I booked the Mercure as a couple of nights for my husbands birthday. The first room we got was OK, a little shabby and not the cleanest but a nice bed and sofa and the aircon seemed good. My husband took a shower for all of 30 seconds and the bathroom, corridor and toilet completely flooded. So we moved rooms.
The next room didn't flood but the aircon was pretty feeble and the toilet cubicle smelled. We didn't complain, having already moved once. This room was an over all improvement.
The breakfast was pretty miserable, no coffee and mostly Chinese dishes. I had expected more from a western brand but nevermind, we ordered coffee and food to the room.
Plus points -
The staff are very nice and friendly, they accommodated us on the new room and gave us some treats as an apology.
The bus to Kumbum Monastery is directly across from the hotel and you can arrive there in 45 mins, public bus number 909, 4¥. Starts at 6:30am.
The breakfast is OK.
There is a free laundry room, we did lots of laundry and it dried over night.
We stayed in a non smoking room and it really was non smoking which is rare for China. It smelt fresh and the bedding and towels did not smell of smoke. There were however people smoking everywhere else in the hotel which seems quite common expecially in this province.
Overall, I would stay here again but I think the price is a little high for the offering in comparison to some Chinese brands in the city.

GGuest UserMany hotels have teamed up with Ctrip to deceive customers. I have encountered this many times. There are probably several tricks. First, Ctrip shows that the hotel has facilities and services but cannot provide them. For example, Sanwang does not have WiFi and laundry; second, Ctrip does not show many results when I search for hotels; third, hotel prices change every minute. , jointly raise prices, and fourthly, the service staff did not tell the truth and told lies with their eyes open.

⭐️The room was clean and equipped.
⭐️Perfect location, easy transportation.
⭐️Staff is extremely kind and helpful.
😉Breakfast room gets crowded, however we were promptly informed at check in and given options to get food from the buffet and eat it elsewhere.
Note: we only had breakfast at the hotel once and we were able to find seats and food. We usually left the hotel before breakfast for our excursions.
😕Elevators get crowded at rush hours, which might mean long waiting time.
😕Individuals smoking in common area.
❗️Those two points are not really due to hotel management, since the building hosts several other businesses. For this same reason, hygiene standards in the common areas are not up to rooms’ standards. It was not a big deal for us at all.
It is a good choice for active travelers!
