"This time, I took my Labrador on a road trip through Qinghai and Gansu and stayed in the Starry Sky Suite at the former Xinsheng Hotel.
The hotel is located in the western part of the city, with convenient access to restaurants and transportation. Free parking is available at the entrance. It's a truly pet-friendly hotel; all the staff were very friendly to pets. The overall design, amenities, and pet-friendly features completely exceeded my expectations.
The Starry Sky Suite is a two-story loft structure with a curved, creamy design. Soft, warm lighting creates a wonderful atmosphere. The first floor is spacious and airy, furnished with a comfortable sofa and a large-screen TV. The most striking feature is the large, independent oval bathtub by the window, paired with greenery and a woven chandelier—perfect for taking photos. A separate, curved shower room is also included, allowing for separate bathing and showering without disturbing each other. Going up the walkway to the second floor, there's a separate king-size bed and a tatami relaxation area. Just add some bedding, and it becomes a very comfortable bed. At night, you can open the skylight curtains to gaze at the stars.
The buffet breakfast restaurant and laundry room are shared with the Orange Hotel. The breakfast restaurant boasts a fresh and vibrant design, featuring a freshly cooked carbohydrate station, a DIY yogurt and cereal area, and is fully equipped with coffee machines and hot soy milk facilities. The breakfast selection includes both Chinese hot dishes and light meals, perfect for a quick energy boost before a road trip. A communal laundry room allows for the washing and drying of clothes accumulated during long road trips, making travel very convenient."

Guest UserThis stay exceeded my expectations. The overall environment was clean and tidy, and the lobby decoration was elegant and grand. Upon entering, staff members warmly helped with luggage. Xiao Xi (a staff member) provided attentive and thoughtful service. The room hygiene was meticulously done, with soft and dry bedding. The bathroom had no standing water or odors, and the toiletries were complete and of good quality. The room had good lighting and ventilation, and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a quiet and peaceful night's sleep. The location is superb, making it convenient for commuting, dining, and shopping, with complete surrounding amenities. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including meat, vegetables, pastries, and beverages, all fresh and delicious. The front desk staff, Xiao Xi, had a gentle attitude and responded quickly to requests. The value for money far surpasses hotels in the same price range. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I've saved this place and will prioritize staying here again next time I visit this city. I genuinely recommend it to all fellow travelers!

This hotel is my top choice when staying in the city center. Its prime location makes getting around incredibly easy, and with the airport shuttle stopping right outside, catching a flight is a breeze. The rooms are well-equipped and functional, and the staff are friendly and proactive, handling all requests efficiently. The views from the high-floor rooms are exceptional; the city lights up beautifully at night, making for a truly comfortable stay. I highly recommend it!
My only minor quibbles were with one of the cleaning staff. I asked for water twice but only received it the first time. The second time, she insisted she had already provided it. Some additional training might be beneficial there. Also, due to Qinghai's dry climate, a humidifier was necessary, but I noticed some limescale inside, so hygiene in that area could be improved.
On a positive note, the front desk lady was absolutely wonderful and very thoughtful. She reminded us to buy oxygen canisters in the city for emergencies.

Moz CSI had a truly great stay here, largely thanks to the incredible staff. The hotel is located in a fantastic spot - very close to the Dongguan Grand Mosque and Xia Nanguan Street, which is perfect for food shopping and enjoying nighttime street food. The design of the hotel has a nice vintage charm to it—nothing overly flashy, but it's very clean and comfortable, and I had no complaints at all. They also offer private parking, which is really convenient if you're renting a car. What really made my stay special was the service. The staff went above and beyond for me. I was struggling with bad altitude sickness, and without me even saying a word, the front desk team noticed how I was feeling and kindly sent medicine, yogurt, and an oxygen canister to my room. That kind of care means so much. Later that night, my room was a bit too warm, and even though it was late, the night staff happily helped me switch rooms. I’m so grateful. A special thank you to Ms. Ma Ping for all her help and kindness. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xining—you'll be in good hands here.

Warmly asked us for anything we need and try to fulfill our requirement at their best
We requested water for drinking and hanger to hang our clothes after washing and dry with dryer and the hotel management helped us with it.
The room is big enough for 5 pax and clean

Guest UserWe stayed here as a family with our child, and overall, our experience was incredibly satisfying. The hotel room was spacious, never felt cramped, and the cleanliness was impeccable – even the corners were spotless. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring our baby slept soundly through the night. The staff were warm and attentive, proactively offering assistance. The floor was quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making getting around very convenient. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the hot water supply was consistently strong. The facilities are well-maintained, and it offers great value for money. It's definitely our top choice for family trips, and we'll be staying here again. The only minor drawback was the limited parking, but the hotel staff were incredibly responsible, directing and helping us find a spot. We later learned that parking is generally difficult in Xining, so we're even more grateful to the staff for reminding us that driving within Xining city isn't necessary, as taxis and buses are easily accessible right outside the hotel. All in all, it's our first choice for family travel and highly recommended.

The room was well-maintained, and the front desk service was attentive. It's clear that the hotel's service standards are meticulously executed.
The bedding material was new and pleasant, but the duvet was too thick. The air conditioning controls didn't work, causing me to wake up sweating numerous times throughout the night. Perhaps a lighter blanket would be more suitable for summer, rather than washing fewer sheets? It was a shame to have two nights of restless sleep due to the heat.
Breakfast was simple with ordinary ingredients. On the first day, there was no butter or jam next to the toaster. On the second day, there was no salad dressing by the salad bar.
The front desk staff were all excellent, even providing double portions of lotion. However, they offered to put a humidifier in my room in the evening, but it never appeared. I'm not sure if the housekeeping staff forgot or if there was another reason.
Finally, I hope any self-driving guests who see this can buy some cat food for the adorable cats in the outdoor parking lot behind the hotel. The weather is so dry, and I'm worried they don't have enough water to drink. It's been on my mind; if I wasn't rushing off, I would have bought some cat food myself. Both little cats are so well-behaved! May good people live long and prosper!

The sanitation is superb, there are no dead corners in the corners, the linen is as white as new, and the bathroom is clean and odorless. The service is intimate, the front desk is efficient and welcoming, and the rooms are responsive. The environment is quiet and elegant, the lobby design is simple and atmospheric, the scenery outside the window is pleasant, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the overall feeling is excellent, I will definitely come again next time!

Guest UserThe hotel room and its bathroom are very large spacious and they would meet four star hotel standard if they were kept clean and well maintained. But the carpet throughout the hotel needs to be changed and only one (and two later) out of four elevators was (were) working that caused big problems when all room were occupied. Guest reported the problem to the local police and a second elevator started to work one day later. Overall a great asset but very poor managed.
