"The hotel is right in front of the bus stop. If you're walking from Metro Line 1, you'll pass through a commercial street, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The lobby has excellent air conditioning, and there's a free coffee machine and tea available. The room isn't huge, but it looks exactly like the promotional pictures. The smart home features throughout the room are very convenient, and I was quite satisfied. The only minor thing is the mirror facing the bed, but you can just cover it with a towel if it bothers you. The hotel service was also excellent; it was pouring rain when we arrived, and while we were resting in the lobby, the front desk staff kept checking on us. Even the cleaning staff was very polite when we asked for our room to be tidied."

"Everything was really impressive - the staff was extremely polite and friendly (helped carry my luggage to the 2nd floor and allowed me to use the staff toilet when I was urgent bc someone else was using the communal washroom). Fully-equipped with smart devices in the room. My favorite was the fact that it had a Dyson hair dryer lol. In addition, really comfortable futon beds (slept well - but also bc we were tired from the flights and train). Overall, clean and neat. Location wise, a lil far from everywhere. We walked 40 minutes or longer to the west lake at night, but went back via Didi in less than 10 minutes I believe. But the weather was cooling at 24°c, so it was still pretty enjoyable. Our first time in China and first accommodation - def made a really positive impression on the guest house."

This time I explored Jiuxi Shibajian, which is worthy of being the natural oxygen bar of Hangzhou's ”Wizard of Oz”. Now in this season, Hangzhou is a summer resort. This homestay I chose this time is also a surprise. The location is very good. It takes 5-10 minutes to walk directly to Jiuxi Yanshu, and stroll along the stream to Longjing Village. There are towering ancient trees and cool streams all the way. It is especially suitable for taking children to play in the water and explore the mysteries. It only takes 15 minutes to take a taxi to West Lake, and it is very convenient to go directly to Bus No. 87. The rooms in the B&B are healing, super clean, and very new. From the tatami windowsill, you can enjoy the tea mountain and bamboo forest opposite. The B&B staff are considerate and will help recommend tour routes. The weather was very good when we came. We drank in the yard at night and could see the beautiful starry sky. We climbed the tea mountain in the morning and felt refreshed. It is a 3-5 minute walk from the B&B. I heard from the store that this is a very famous hiking route. Due to limited time this time, we only walked a short distance. Let's explore it next time."

However, the Silk Museum bus stop is conveniently located, making it easy to reach West Lake attractions like Changqiao Park and Yongjin Gate. There are vending machines in the hotel, but they're complicated to use, requiring ID and a phone number. I stayed in Building 2, which was redecorated in 2024. The room was small but had elegantly toned furniture; there was no desk. The hallway in Building 2 was too cold, but the courtyard had a 'fairy-like' cool mist for photos. The front desk staff, Lulu, was very professional, attentive, and friendly. The hotel parking lot is open to the public, so finding an empty spot can be a hassle as there are no dedicated spaces for guests. The room service was excellent, and the hotel has a self-service laundry room with three washers and dryers, which was a huge plus."

Don't most people play games on the computer at night in an e-sports hotel? This e-sports hotel is quite interesting; they didn't mention the check-out time when I checked in. Then, at 9 AM on a Sunday morning, they sent a WeChat message saying check-out was at 12:00 PM, otherwise, an extra fee would be charged... Do guests staying at an e-sports hotel on a Sunday morning wake up at 9 AM? Then, at 12:00 PM, someone knocked on the door... It was both impolite and unnecessary. If you're going to charge for overtime, why not just deduct it from the deposit? I was literally woken up. A good hotel needs good management. I hope the owner improves their service. It's really bad!"
