You need to search for "Dar Hilana." Take a bus to the Bab aylan gate, then walk about 500 meters. This guesthouse seems to be newly opened; the facilities are quite new. It has three floors, with a rooftop terrace offering a good view. The overall decor has a strong local feel. The area outside the guesthouse is a local residential area with fruit and snack shops, but no restaurants. We usually ate near the tourist attractions. The breakfast was quite plentiful, including yogurt, honey, bread, and fried eggs, and tasted pretty good. The owner and staff were very friendly. However, I felt the guesthouse's decor focused too much on artistic flair and neglected practicality. I expect the maintenance costs will be quite high in the future. For example, the bathroom walls weren't tiled; they were just whitewashed, which is prone to mold and peeling."
