We were deeply touched by the gracious upgrade to the Presidential Villa, a gesture that perfectly captured the spirit of Oberoi hospitality. The villa itself was beyond breathtaking — private, serene, and thoughtfully designed with every imaginable comfort. A heartfelt thank you to Rohan, the General Manager, whose leadership and warmth are evident in every aspect of the resort; to Arjun, whose mastery in food and beverage turned every meal into a culinary experience; and to Mamdouh, whose attentiveness and genuine care made every interaction feel personal. Every team member we encountered embodied the Oberoi ethos — gracious, intuitive, and consistently exceeding expectations. KK DesaiThis is an absolutely stunning Riad. I cannot praise it enough. The courtyard is beautiful and full of trees and plants. The restaurant shares this space and is a wonderful experience to have breakfast, lunch or dinner among the trees and plants. We stayed in room Orientalle and it is just incredible. There is a balcony over the pool and plenty of room to relax. The artwork is also stunning, not just in the room but all over the riad. It is like staying in a museum. There are also many patios to relax in although we could not make full use of them as the weather wasn't great. The real stars of the Riad are the staff. They are simply amazing. Ahmed looked after us so well. Sorted out our transfers and organised a tour of Marrakech, booked a restaurant for is. Would always ask if we were okay was always ready with a tip or helping on what to do or where to go. When he wasn't there Khalid did the same. Khalid is also very friendly and helpful. It was great having them in reception just before you went out. As we had come to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary Ahmed had decorated the room with petals and had also arranged a bunch of roses for my wife. He also organised a special vegetarian dinner in the restaurant for us Housekeeping led by Latifa were great and the room was cleaned very well and repeatedly decorated with rose petals. Breakfast is a traditional Moroccan one and is very good. The star is however Oussama, our waiter. He looked after us every day and insisted we try everything and made sure we had a good breakfast. He is a very genuine person and truly wants you to have a good time. When we had dinner at the restaurant one evening he made sure we couldn't eat another crumb. A truly kind and sweet person I cannot praise the Riad and staff enough. It is not the cheapest place but for my wife and I it was worth every penny. The memories we have will last for ever. We will return

NNatasha Audina SI love the ambience, the decor and above all, the service that this riad has given from the moment we arrived until we checked out. The staff member that greeted us was very helpful and informative, and there were two night shift members who were incredibly helpful arranging our early breakfast (because we had to leave super early) and accompanied us to show the safest way to the square at the crack of the dawn. Even when we got lost on our way to the riad, the staff member also picked us up and helped us with our belongings. I would definitely recommend this riad to friends or family who want to make a trip to Morocco, especially Marrakech!

GGuest UserSorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family

GGuest UserThe interior is just as beautiful and colorful as pictured. I really appreciated the mineral water and the powerful hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was also incredibly delicious. However, the area around the riad isn't the safest, and there are scammers lingering around offering directions. If you're a woman traveling alone, I'd advise being cautious when moving around. It's also quite a distance to various tourist attractions. I also had a massage, which was excellent. Every staff member was very attentive and helpful.

BBellinisThe check-in process was good for customer service, but my room experience was terrible. I booked a superior suite, but I ended up with a regular room. I was informed that the person who was supposed to be in the room decided to stay another day. When I checked online, I found that the room was still available for reservation. The next day, when I asked to switch to my reserved room, I was told that it was booked again and that I should check back in line. Surprisingly, the same room was still available for reservation. I feel like they were scamming people by booking a suite at a higher price and then giving them a cheaper room.
The night crew member was very friendly and informed me that the manager was traveling. However, I don’t understand who is responsible for managing the website and ensuring that the correct room is posted when it’s available. I tried to contact them via phone and email, but nothing happened. I hope that Trip guide and the hotel will take responsibility for their actions and make sure that this doesn’t happen to other customers. I could have booked a different suite that had a similar aesthetic to what I was looking for, but I couldn’t even cancel the reservation. There should be a system in place for booking a specific room, and if the room is not available, the customer should receive an automatic refund. It’s their job to figure out when the room is available and what type of room it is. Additionally, the room had a bunch of knickknacks, and the table, wall, and bottom of the table were all chipped, cracked.

GGuest UserWe didn’t have any issues there. In general the service is good even if there is nobody in the reception thus they give you your own keys of the main entrance and your room. As a suggestion it is needed a sign “Riad Nouhal” but anyway, if you follow the location on Google Maps, you will be in.
