Scenic Hotels in Marrakech

"I stayed for two days at the Novotel with my 10-year-old daughter. The person at check-in was very friendly, and we were upgraded to a large room with a view. The room was comfortable and cool, thanks to the air conditioning. However, the room could use a refresh. Be aware that the hotel is located near nightclubs. If you're looking for quiet and peaceful nights, forget it – there's boom-boom music until all hours. Definitely bring earplugs. Otherwise, the hotel is really well-located in the Hivernage district; you can walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa and La Mamounia is just a stone's throw away. The gym isn't great at all. It's a shame, just one bike, one treadmill, and no weights. All the breakfast staff were super pleasant and attentive, taking care of drinks, tea, and orders – truly excellent. The pool is pleasant, and the gentleman who provides towels is very nice. The only downside is the music, which somewhat spoils moments of relaxation by the pool. If you're looking for peace and quiet to recover from six months of intense work, I wouldn't recommend it. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family"

"The room was very spacious and I was able to stay comfortably. However, the shower drain was not good and the water overflowed in 1 minute, which was a bit of a hassle."

"숙소는 전통 시장 안 쪽에 있습니다. 우린 일찍 도착해서 웰컴 티를 마시고 짐을 맡기고 마조레 정원을 다녀왔습니다. 시장에서 현지인들의 식사를 경험하여 맹. 즐거웠습니다. 숙소 사장님은 한국에 사는 친구에 대해 이야기하며 우리에게 매우 호의적이도 친절했습니다. 테라스 방은 프라이빗하여 우리에게 리야드 숙소에 대한 만족도를 높여주었습니다. 다음날 일찍 사하라 사막 투어가 있어 조식에 대해 문의를 하니 우리가 나가는 시간에 맞추어 방 앞에 너무 멋진 아침을 차려 주어 든든히 먹고 나올 수 있었습니다. 우리를 기꺼이 도와 준 매니저님께 정말 감사드립니다. 그의 친절에 우린 감동했습니다. 테라스와 루프탑 추천합니다!!!"

They were always willing to help with a smile, responded quickly to any request and made sure every detail of my stay was comfortable and stress-free. It’s clear that the team takes pride in their work and goes above and beyond to ensure visitors have a great experience. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. "We arrived at night at Jnane Rihane Marrakesh, was received by a lovely young man abdul(not sure of spelling)He took time to explain everything, took us to the room and our luggage. This place is a wee gem beautiful full of plants flowers its a breath of fresh air in all the heat its calming, relaxing and peaceful. You have breakfast/ meals in the gardens which is amazing and chilled. Food and service is top notch, Morrocon breakie is a great start of the day. The pool which is beside the eating with enough space between is fantastic and open all times and an amazing large space jacuzzi space which comes on regularly perfect n a big plus. I will defos come back rooms are fab, spacious n great cooling system fab showers and toilet. The cleaners do a fab job and are very kind, very clean corners all round. This Riad has a beautiful museum a room you can just chill. Staff check on you to make sure you are well, we got complementary drinks/fruits on hot days and we got a treat lunch from Riad owner which was delicious. I will defos return n tell my family n friends coz the hospitality was wonderful. Ishmael thank you ,Mami and Hend just to mention a few thank you all."

"I didn't understand why such good reviews were made. I took a room specifically with a yellow wall, as a result, apparently there was repair and a white wall :) When the settlement was made, nothing was told when the breakfast was where the thing was. One of the staff members looked at the coso at all, maybe it seemed. Breakfast is scarce, no omlet, etc. , but it's the norm everywhere, so here it's okay. The photo number (except the wall) corresponds to the site, but it is somewhat irrelevant, what is. First, everything is very twisted but it is not a minus, but the feature of all riads. Second, there is no hook of the bathroom, everything is extremely uncomfortable. Rosettas are also somehow not particularly conveniently located. And dark in the room is just a chick. Even if all two lights are turned on, it doesn't help, well, just like in a coffin (usually in Riads at least a little lighter). On the photos it goes well, but it's a little deceptive Well, the host (administrator?) Riada is too friendly. I don't know if I was so lucky or always so. I wanted to be alone, and it was difficult. As a result, I didn't even climb up to the roof (if it was open in principle) The court is really beautiful. It is also normal - the exit to a quiet street."
