Hotels with WiFi in Marrakech

"The hotel’s location is excellent as it is walking distance to most of the tourist attractions in Marrakech. Has a huge swimming pool where you can enjoy and relax. However, service is very very poor. On the night that I arrived I requested a slippers by calling the reception, as there were no slippers in the room, but none came. Again the next day I requested again at the front desk and the staff promised to send it to my room, but nothing came. Once again on the 3rd day, I requested the same, as usual nothing came. Three different personnel at the front desk promised to send the slippers to my room but never keep their promise. So much bad service. Another issue with the hotel is the aircon system, it was not functioning during my stay. Only fan is working and it was hot inside the room. And I complained at the front desk and the staff said that the airconditiong were disabled as it still winter or spring season. I tried to open the window and door to the balcony to let cold air inside but unfortunately the road noise was terrible, so I have to close it. Had a really bad experience with Novotel Marrakech."

"This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with Moroccan tea and sweets. The decor is charming and has a gorgeous boutique feel. The service was attentive and friendly throughout. The only downside was it got quite noisy at night - but we’d still stay again as it’s a brilliant place."

"We stayed for one day. The breakfast was modest, but you probably won't go hungry. A huge downside was that the sheets weren't changed. I pointed out the dirt and hair on the bedsheet, and the staff member just said, 'So what?' She then brought another dirty sheet. It took three attempts to get a clean one, which was horrible. The toilet and sink were dirty, and people clearly smoke in the room, so there was a strong odor. There was a safe in the room, but no hair conditioner, cotton buds, or tissues. Maybe we've been spoiled by other 4-star hotels, but there was absolutely nothing here... They also put us next to a room undergoing major renovations, so there was a loud banging noise starting at 8 AM. Luckily, we had an extra three hours and were already heading out. I definitely wouldn't come back here. On the plus side, it's about a 15-minute walk to the train station."

"Nice riad with excellent service. They picked us up from the taxi on the first day and helped us meet the driver on our return. The breakfast was good, which was much appreciated as we would have found it difficult to start the day looking for somewhere to eat. It's a 20-minute walk from the main square."

"My stay at Riad Belikoss was OK, but not totally satisfying. The staff is friendly, the check in was OK. The guys at the reception (Larbi) and the boys at breakfast (rooftop) were very friendly. But the welcome drink (mint tea) was not hot. Hmmm. The room itself was not that bad, but for the price paid, the cleanliness was doubtable (see photos). Hopefully this can be cleaned better in the future if the management reads this. The breakfast was reasonable, with Orange juice, an omelette, a few pieces of fruit, a Moroccan pancake (msemmen) with chocopaste, honey and jam. I missed 2 things: yoghurt and Amlou (Moroccon peanut butter). This should be improved. And very important: my coffee was cold! They serve you black coffee in a small thermos can, but still it wasn't hot! Coffee should be really hot. Also, they served me back coffee only, and after asking they provided milk. It should be there in the first place. No salt and pepper on the table for the eggs. The amount of bread served at breakfast was small. Not too bad, but there are things to be improved. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was like 'where is the pool'? Is this it? Can't really call it a pool. Positives: The Air-conditioning was good. Room design and Riad decorations are nice. Room door (see picture) is old and green with mold. Should be replaced urgently. Curtains are not blackout, you will still have light coming in the room. Room is not sound proof but at night it was quiet There are only windows facing the inside of the building, no outside-windows, so no fresh air coming in, causing a lack of oxygen at night. If you get a very cheap room price (like less than 20 euros) it's acceptable, it's too much for this Riad. Conclusion: it's a beautiful Riad, but there are things to be improved. But Larbi is great, thank you my friend."

"There was not body wash in the bathroom for the first night we stayed, so we could only use hand soap for bathing after our workout at midnight. We informed the front desk staff the next morning about this and he promised to follow up. However, the body wash bottle was still empty when we returned hotel in afternoon. We again asked the cleansing lady to follow up and she said ‘OK’ to us, unfortunately the result was the same when we returned the room after dinner. I believe good services to the guests by a world class hotel is significant, so recurrence of such kind of matter should be avoided. Thanks."

"Absolutely great experience in old style. Beautiful building run by friendly people that were always ready to help. Small but cosy rooms that were kept clean everyday. Very good breakfast! Really was sorry to miss one because of early departure for a trip one day. All staff always smiling, helpful and ready to brighten your day with mint tea (even late in the evening). Very communicative, I enjoyed having some small chat with them everyday. They also have spa and hammam that was nice to try after one particularly wet and cold day. I truly recommend this hotel to everyone!"

"Riad is located right in the center of Medina, it is not difficult to find. Meet with tea and biscuits, the room is excellent, clean, authentic, bottled water in the room, over the course of the day was cleaning and provided more water. Breakfast is good."

"We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel as a whole, including the rooms, is quite run down. The photos during booking are a bit different from reality… The beds are comfortable, and while the room is a bit small, it's bearable. The bathroom is large, BUT the plumbing is poor, and the water pressure is very low at any time of day. The breakfast is a buffet, and it's not bad."
