We booked three rooms for our family’s annual trip. The hotel is quiet and conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Kuanzhai Alley. There are several convenience stores nearby, along with many local restaurants serving authentic Sichuan-style cuisine. All rooms are smart rooms, which made our stay comfortable and convenient. The rooms are also equipped with smart toilets, a great feature for guests who appreciate modern bathroom facilities—especially those who know how useful they are. The hotel staff can speak some English. While communication may be limited at times, they were very helpful and made a real effort to resolve our issues. For the best experience, the staff recommended using WeChat to communicate with them, which worked well and made communication much easier. I would recommend this hotel to travelers who want to stay close to major landmarks without being in a crowded area. It’s peaceful yet still easy to get around. However, for guests who enjoy shopping all the time and prefer staying near large malls or busy commercial streets, this hotel may not be the best choice.

The housekeeper went above and beyond during our stay. The room was thoroughly refreshed each day, with the bed neatly made, towels perfectly arranged, and amenities thoughtfully replenished without being excessive. Personal items were respectfully organized, which made returning to the room feel calm and welcoming. Small touches made a big difference: trash was discreetly emptied, the bathroom sparkled, and everything was consistently placed just the way it should be. It was an amazing stay at The Hidden House. Our receptionist was really friendly and helpful during our stay. Amenities were great and the complimentary snacks were nice. The hanfu experience was a new experience. The hanfu are pretty and clean however, the staff don't show you how to wear them. They don't have any stylists which is why the experience is free (but need to reserve 1hr in advance. We paid extra for the afternoon tea and it was good while wearing the hanfu. It's a convenient place to catch a Didi (around the street corner). And the hotel staff go above and beyond to help you with any enquires.

First off, the hotel's initial impression is its newness. From the moment you step into the lobby, you can feel the stylish and modern decor. The room facilities are also brand new, clean, and tidy, making for a very reassuring stay. Plus, the price is incredibly affordable, offering exceptional value for money—it completely exceeded my expectations. The service was an even greater surprise. The front desk staff were warm and attentive; check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. During my stay, no matter what issue arose, a quick phone call would bring staff to help immediately. Their attitude was friendly and professional, making me feel very comfortable. What pleased me most was the hot water supply. Hot water was available 24 hours a day without interruption. Whether it was day or night, I could always take a hot shower to wash away the day's fatigue—this is truly thoughtful for travelers. The location is also a major highlight. It's very close to all of Chengdu's major attractions. Whether going to Wuhou Shrine, Jinli, or Kuanzhai Alley, it's easily accessible by foot or a short public transport ride, making getting around incredibly convenient and saving a lot of time and effort. In summary, New Seven Days Hotel made my stay in Chengdu absolutely perfect. With its affordable price, excellent service, comfortable environment, and convenient location, it added many wonderful memories to my trip. If you're coming to Chengdu, you definitely shouldn't miss this hidden gem!
