Mercure Chengdu Downtown Hotel（ Kuanzhai Alley）

Great location, very convenient for transport. It's about 50 meters from Exit C of Tonghuimen Station on Metro Line 2, and only a few hundred meters from Kuanzhai Alley. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby!

Convenient location, warm service, strong water pressure for hot showers, and a decent breakfast with coffee.

The hotel is really close to the subway station; it's just a few steps from the exit, which is super convenient, especially since it's on Line 2, making it easy to get anywhere! The hygiene was also quite good. The only downside was that the hairdryer wasn't very powerful. The front desk service was excellent; they even offered tea as soon as I arrived, which was a nice touch! The breakfast buffet had a decent variety, but I'd suggest adding some individual yogurt cups. Overall, it was a good stay!

Cleanliness: The hygiene was excellent, and the bedding was very comfortable. A latex pillow would make it even better. Environment: It's right by Tonghuimen Metro Station, so you step off the subway and you're there. It's also super convenient to walk to Kuanzhai Alley! Service: Very good. Facilities: The facilities were a bit lacking, looking quite old. The soundproofing for the windows was poor, and the hairdryer was quite small. If the hotel facilities can't be updated, I suggest the business provide some better, more practical items to improve guest satisfaction. For example: 1. Change the hairdryer. 2. Replace the velvet sofa in the room with something more functional, like the tea table and chairs found at 'All Seasons' hotels. 3. The height of the sink faucet and basin is awkward; I recommend replacing them. 4. If the capsule coffee machine isn't used much, consider removing it and adding a coffee machine and a direct drinking water dispenser in the lobby. I forgot to take pictures of the room, so I've included photos of nearby dining instead.

The room was clean and tidy overall, and my child really liked the kids' toothbrush and slippers!

Things got even worse when I checked in yesterday. I picked up the mouthwash glass in the room, and it just broke, cutting my hand. When I reported it to the front desk and spoke to the duty manager, Mr. Lu, they actually claimed we broke it and that the hotel wasn't responsible! If we dropped it ourselves, would it break into such a neat triangular piece like that?! These people are absolutely **! Why would we bother causing trouble during the New Year holiday? Everyone, please steer clear of this hotel!
