"🚗: The hotel offers airport transfer, just book in advance. We had an early 6 AM departure, and the front desk proactively called us around 5:40 AM to remind us. The car was a small van. 🍽️: We didn't have a chance to try the late-night dining, but the hotel is located in town, so we could order takeout and had plenty of food options. 🎁: The room came with disposable face towels, small snacks, an air purifier, and there was even water available for guests in the hallway. Thoughtful touches everywhere. Great value for money. Definitely recommend."

The mattress was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the soundproofing was excellent, making for a wonderfully quiet night. "Whenever I visit Kunming, the Grand Park Hotel is always one of my top choices. It's right by Cuihu Lake, and within walking distance of cafes and local specialty restaurants. Even though the Grand Park is an older hotel, it doesn't feel dated at all; the environment is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with no hint of age, and the price is excellent. The service is consistently great, especially from Front Desk Manager Xiao Wang, who is warm and attentive – you feel welcome the moment you step into the lobby. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip."

The location is superb, very close to the airport, and the shuttle service is prompt. The facilities are comprehensive and modern. "This stay was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is only a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. It's located in a village, which makes the location a bit off the beaten path, but that's perfectly fine as they offer airport shuttle service. We arrived at Changshui Airport at 2 AM on our first day. After collecting our luggage, we contacted the hotel for pickup. Even though it was raining heavily that night, the hotel was fantastic and was already waiting for us in the parking lot. Since we had to catch a high-speed train to Dali the next day, the hotel even dropped us off at the nearby subway station. When we returned to Kunming on our last day, we chose to stay at this hotel again. The staff here are incredibly enthusiastic; they recommended local breakfast spots and hot pot restaurants, all of which were delicious and very affordable. Because it was pouring rain that day, the hotel even went out of its way to drive us to the restaurant for dinner. The hotel is a good distance from the airport, so it wasn't as noisy at night as I expected; if you don't listen carefully, you can barely hear the planes landing. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers transiting through Kunming or those who want to be close to the airport without the noise. On a side note, dining in the village where the hotel is located is super convenient. There are restaurants within a 100-meter walk from the hotel, and the food suited our out-of-town tastes perfectly. I've included the name of the hot pot restaurant we went to; it was genuinely affordable, tasty, and the portions were generous. If I have the chance, I would definitely choose to stay here again. The only downside is that there's no place to hang clothes or towels in the room, only in the bathroom. I hope the hotel can add some racks or hooks for guests to hang their belongings."

"This place is located in a great location. There are malls just opposite which is great if you do not have plans and just want to hang around. Downstairs, there are various local food places which served good food. The hotel itself is located in k9 apartments, right next to Novotel Hotel. The reception messaged us on Trip.com on the day of our arrival to provide us with information on how to reach the hotel & the address to set in our Didi. As this was our last hotel before returning home, I honestly had alot of Taobao kuai di which the receptionist picked up for me patiently throughout all 3 days of our stay. I could not be more grateful esp when 1 of my package was sent to a place about 1.5km away from the hotel. They would wechat us on a daily basis to confirm if we needed housekeeping or if we needed any amenities. Within the room, there was a play room which my kids absolutely loved. They saw it as their private space and played inside on their own when the adults would busy. There was a washer / dryer located within the room which was so helpful. & a working fridge. We were provided with disposable coverings for the toilet bowl & bathtub and also toothbrush (including children’s toothbrush & bedroom slippers). The staircase to the loft was also safe with handrails and big enough steps to not fall / miss a step. Overall, I would definitely choose this place again if I visited Kunmin again."

"This guesthouse is located right in Kunming's Old Street, with a snack street just outside, making it super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. It's less than a 100-meter walk from where a taxi can drop you off. The room facilities are complete, and it's clean and spacious. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming, which made us feel incredibly comfortable. We stayed here for almost a week straight, and it offers great value for money. Nearby, there's also the famous Duyue Tower (the 'Paper-thin Building'), which attracts many visitors daily. I recommend going early in the morning for some fantastic photos and to avoid the crowds. At night, you can enjoy the old street's night view. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kunming!"

"Seriously can't recommend this place enough for business trips! For this price, it felt like a 4-star experience – amazing value for money! The service was incredibly thoughtful! When I arrived with a big suitcase, the staff member immediately offered to help and even upgraded me to a family room. My impression of the hotel shot up instantly! The ambiance was right up my alley! The yellow-themed room was bright and cozy, with adorable cartoon prints on the wall and cute deer figurines. There was even a small sofa by the window, perfect for chilling with my phone at night – so comfortable! The cleanliness details were top-notch! As soon as I entered the room, I noticed a faint scent of disinfectant. The sheets and duvet covers were freshly changed, and even the hangers and bathrobes smelled like they'd been sun-dried. I felt completely at ease staying there! Getting around was super convenient! There's a bus stop right downstairs, and the subway entrance is just a 10-minute walk away. It's super close to all the attractions and shopping districts, which is perfect for us 'walking warriors'! For this price, you absolutely have to book this place! I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!"

"This was my first time staying in a Sofitel Kunming luxury city-view king room, and the experience was great! 👍 The room was on a high floor, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive view of the entire Spring City. The city's nightscape at dusk was particularly soothing. The room was spacious and clean, with exquisite and elegant French-style soft furnishings. The MyBed bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the soundproofing was excellent. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and was equipped with Lanvin toiletries, showing attention to detail and quality. Front desk receptionist Suri was gentle and efficient, providing thoughtful and meticulous service. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Kunming."
