This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel environment is serene and quiet, with an elegant and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and well-maintained. The front desk staff, Shi An and Shan Wu, were welcoming and polite.

A truly delightful stay! Initially booked for five days and four nights, but extended our stay because the experience was so fantastic. First off, the hotel is new, the breakfast is delicious and caters to all tastes, and the location is superb! It's convenient for getting anywhere. There's also a direct access to the Hang Lung shopping mall, which is very handy. Both the pool and executive lounge were excellent! Our butler, Isla, checked in with us three times a day, so we never had to worry about running out of anything – she replenished promptly. The coffee machine was great, and the tea was excellent! Especially the toiletries, they were top-notch! In short, this will be our first choice whenever we visit Kunming!

Having Wechat, checking process was smooth, we arrived in the day time. The butler greeted us at the lobby and took us to our apartment. The location was good, had breakfast places nearby. Easy pick up and drop off location for DiDi. Having wechat was convenient because you can message the manager directly. One thing that was a bit unclear was how the house keeping works. We stayed for 6 nights and asked how we can vacuum the house but the housekeeper said the vacuum was too big. The manager was very accommodating, they let us store our luggage for 7 days while we explored other towns. This is a great place for family, it is very spacious, the bed was comfortable and includes a washing machine. We will definite stay at the same place again next time.

This hotel is excellent. It boasts an impressive lobby, clean and comfortable rooms, and delicious Western cuisine. Every staff member greets you politely, and the service staff even help carry luggage to your room. The rooms are fully equipped with amenities like a refrigerator, bathtub, and sofa, making for a very comfortable stay. There's also a free shuttle service to the airport, demonstrating their meticulous attention to customer service.

This garden hotel is absolutely stunning! The garden is like a huge energy field; a walk through it every evening recharges you. A big thank you to the lovely front desk lady who arranged a beautiful room with a direct view of the garden – it was so refreshing to open the window each day. The swimming pool is also fantastic! It's deep and spacious, with excellent water quality, making for a truly enjoyable swim. The room was cleaned promptly, and the housekeepers thoughtfully left four bottles of water, all neatly arranged! I was able to add the butler on WeChat, and during my five-night stay, I received fruit for three days, and two cans of coffee as a farewell gift! Our room rate included breakfast and dinner, and for all five nights, the food at the restaurant was consistently excellent! The Yunnan local dishes, in particular, were so delicious they almost brought tears to my eyes! The rice noodles were incredible, with four different types of toppings! I had rice noodles for both breakfast and dinner! The fruit selection was also abundant, with seven or eight varieties. I especially loved their freshly squeezed juices, particularly the cucumber juice. And they have an Indian chef whose flying bread and curry are simply divine! The location is superb! A short walk through Haigeng Hall leads you directly to Haigeng Dam, making it incredibly convenient to see the seagulls! Xishan and Haihong Wetland are also not far, perfect for a leisurely stroll. I hope to stay at InterContinental Hotel again on my next visit to Dianchi Lake. The quality and service far exceeded my expectations!

## Facilities: Although the interior facilities are a bit dated, they come with up-to-date features like electric curtain openers. ## Hygiene: Generally, the hygiene was good. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, and pool staff) were all very enthusiastic and responsible, offering me a lot of help. However, some corners and edges could use improvement, such as the large water stains on the balcony. ## Environment: The environment is quiet. While the location isn't exceptionally unique, it's convenient for getting to the train station and Dianchi Lake, and it's very peaceful for sleeping at night. ## Service: All the staff were very hardworking and enthusiastic. Thank you for all the help during my stay. We had two children, and they even gave them a hot spring ticket and a souvenir. Overall, this is an excellent choice for a family trip to Kunming.

This is my go-to choice every time I visit Kunming. Each stay arranged by Heidi has been wonderful. I particularly love the hotel's 270-degree corner view rooms. The high-floor panoramic windows offer expansive views, allowing you to see the entire Kunming cityscape right from your room – the urban scenery is completely unobstructed. Even on a rainy or cloudy day in Kunming, it's a different kind of beautiful; the entire city is enveloped in a light mist, and the view outside the window is hazy and atmospheric. Sitting by the window watching the clouds roll in is incredibly relaxing. The hotel's location is excellent, making getting around very convenient. It's very friendly for those driving, as the parking lot has charging stations, so both driving and parking are hassle-free. It's also very close to the high-speed train station, a quick taxi ride away, and getting to Changshui International Airport by taxi is also easy. This makes it suitable for both business travelers and those on a layover. The room itself is comfortable and clean, and the high-altitude view provides an exceptional experience. Whether it's enjoying the panoramic city views on a clear day or the misty spring city scenery on a rainy day, it's uniquely charming. Considering the transportation, facilities, and views, this is my top choice for accommodation in Kunming, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended.

This is my third visit this year, and I absolutely love this hotel, even though it's only 30 kilometers from my home. My favorite part is the large balcony, which offers a delightful view of the lake and lush green mountains, with high skies and drifting clouds – it's incredibly peaceful. The evenings are very quiet. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic.

Five stars, highly recommended! This is an old, established state guesthouse in Kunming that you absolutely must stay at. Its heritage, views, and service are all top-notch. The location is unbeatable, directly facing Cuihu Park. Open the French windows and you're greeted with lake views and weeping willows. In autumn and winter, you can even spot red-billed gulls. Yunnan University and the Yunnan Military Academy are within walking distance, making it convenient for exploring the old city without much travel. The hotel's design was partly conceived by I.M. Pei, blending new Chinese style with retro Art Deco. The lobby's gilded lotus sculpture, rosewood carvings, and vintage staircase create an incredible ambiance. The gardens are tranquil and elegant, and every photo you take captures the unique, understated elegance of a historic five-star hotel. Service is gentle, understated, and perfectly balanced, never intrusive. Upon check-in, guests receive fresh flowers and welcome fruits, and the room is refreshed daily with Yunnan-style floral arrangements. Turndown service includes peach gum and white fungus soup, along with seagull-shaped cookies – thoughtful details that truly shine. The 24-hour butler service is on-call, and staff members politely greet guests, always professional and sincere. The room comfort exceeded expectations. The bedding is soft and plush, and the soundproofing is excellent. During the dry season, the whole-house humidity control system is a lifesaver, especially for those with allergies. The bathroom features a built-in TV in the bathtub and electric privacy glass. All mini-bar drinks are complimentary, and there's even freshly ground Yunnan small-grain coffee, adding a distinct local touch. Breakfast is served in the lake-view restaurant, offering a rich variety of authentic dishes, including freshly prepared Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles, 'posu bao' (flaky steamed buns), and rose 'naiba Jiu' (a local milky wine). Dining by the lake creates an exceptional atmosphere. The accompanying heated pool is clean and uncrowded, perfect for relaxation. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is perfectly suited. Its century-old refined quality is irreplaceable. I will definitely choose Cuihu Hotel again on my next visit to Kunming!

Facilities: The hotel is very new, and getting it for around 600 during the peak summer holiday season is incredible value for money! It shares a gym, pool, and Chinese restaurant with the Shangri-La next door, which costs 2500. Service: There's a doorman to open doors and help with luggage, truly a five-star setup. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in Kunming.
