An absolutely delightful stay! The hotel boasts an elegant environment, right next to Yu Garden, offering a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle – a perfect location for those who love a relaxing getaway. The service was exceptionally warm and refined. Whether it was the front desk, the restaurant, or room service, everything was impeccable, making us feel right at home and utterly comfortable. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, featuring local specialties, and the dishes offered a different selection each day. I must also mention that getting around is super convenient. Taxis are readily available and quick, and it's easy to walk out for meals. Initially, I booked for two days, but I loved it so much that I promptly extended my stay for another four days. The pleasant surprise was that the hotel generously upgraded my room!

We were a group of 15 people, four families with kids, staying together. Overall, it was quite convenient! Besides traffic, it was easy for the children to go out and explore the area, with plenty of places to eat and shop. The facilities, including the bathrooms, were fine, and the bedding was comfortable for a good night's sleep. The only real issue was the slow service; we were told it was fully booked, and we had to wait two hours for our luggage, which definitely needs improvement, though it wasn't a major problem. I also have a suggestion: since they contact guests in advance, and families with children often book multiple rooms, why not assign them to the same floor beforehand? We had to spend over half an hour at check-in discussing this to get rooms on the same floor. How much efficiency was lost? It was frustrating. P.S. Having Wechat, checking process was smooth, we arrived in the day time. The butler greeted us at the lobby and took us to our apartment. The location was good, had breakfast places nearby. Easy pick up and drop off location for DiDi. Having wechat was convenient because you can message the manager directly. One thing that was a bit unclear was how the house keeping works. We stayed for 6 nights and asked how we can vacuum the house but the housekeeper said the vacuum was too big. The manager was very accommodating, they let us store our luggage for 7 days while we explored other towns. This is a great place for family, it is very spacious, the bed was comfortable and includes a washing machine. We will definite stay at the same place again next time.

Five stars to the DoubleTree by Hilton Kunming Airport! From the lobby environment and room cleanliness to the breakfast and airport shuttle service, everything met a high standard, making for a very comfortable stay. I especially want to commend Cai Cai. I was quite tired upon arrival, but Cai Cai was incredibly patient, efficiently handled my check-in, thoroughly explained all hotel services, and even offered thoughtful advice regarding my flight schedule. Any questions I had were answered promptly and properly, truly demonstrating exceptional service. The hotel maintains excellent quality control, and with such outstanding staff service, it has become my go-to choice for layovers in Kunming. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Changshui Airport.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Haigeng Convention Center, Haigeng Dam, and Dongfeng Dam, and is also very close to Dianchi Cableway and Yunnan Nationalities Village. A small river encircles the hotel, and its interior gardens are filled with various hot springs, lush flora, and pavilions, all beautifully accented by small bridges and flowing water, showcasing an elegant environment. The hotel lobby boasts a grand design with many artistic elements. All staff members are proactive, enthusiastic, and provide service with a smile.

## Facilities: Although the interior facilities are a bit dated, they come with up-to-date features like electric curtain openers. ## Hygiene: Generally, the hygiene was good. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, and pool staff) were all very enthusiastic and responsible, offering me a lot of help. However, some corners and edges could use improvement, such as the large water stains on the balcony. ## Environment: The environment is quiet. While the location isn't exceptionally unique, it's convenient for getting to the train station and Dianchi Lake, and it's very peaceful for sleeping at night. ## Service: All the staff were very hardworking and enthusiastic. Thank you for all the help during my stay. We had two children, and they even gave them a hot spring ticket and a souvenir. Overall, this is an excellent choice for a family trip to Kunming.

Mia provided professional and warm service, making the check-in process swift and efficient. She even thoughtfully reminded us of the best times to enjoy the view, which added a lot to our positive travel experience. The Sofitel generally boasts strong overall capabilities. The public areas are stylish and spacious, and the hallways are clean and bright. The guest rooms are generously sized, and the cleanliness is rigorously maintained, with every corner impeccably tidy. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views; during the day, you can look down on the city's buildings, and at night, the city lights sparkle beautifully, making for excellent photos. The recreational facilities are comprehensive and perfectly adequate for daily relaxation. A large shopping mall is conveniently located downstairs, making dining and shopping very easy. With service, views, and location all well-balanced, our stay was comfortable and pleasant. We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Kunming.

This is my third visit this year, and I absolutely love this hotel, even though it's only 30 kilometers from my home. My favorite part is the large balcony, which offers a delightful view of the lake and lush green mountains, with high skies and drifting clouds – it's incredibly peaceful. The evenings are very quiet. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic.

Although the booking included butler service, I still had to call the hotel myself and add the butler on WeChat on the day of check-in because I had something to confirm. Overall, the service staff were very cold during my stay. Aside from a male manager in the lobby who actively greeted me, there was no introduction at check-in. I had to ask about the elevator's location and breakfast arrangements myself, and the answers were always curt. Furthermore, the staff in the Western breakfast restaurant and the Chinese dinner restaurant all had icy expressions. Especially at dinner, after only a few sips of soup, a waiter came to take away my spoon. When I stopped them, they showed no apology and walked away with a cold face. Of course, the hotel's location and its luxurious and exquisite decor still make it worth a stay.

The in-room amenities are smart and having direct drinking water is very convenient. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. They even prepared a surprise birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch! The location is great, with a Hang Lung Plaza nearby and direct subway access right outside the door. The front desk staff, Isabel, Andy, and Lynn, were all very warm, attentive, and dedicated.
