GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with every aspect. The location near Dianchi Lake makes it very convenient to visit nearby attractions. Wangfujing Outlets is right downstairs, perfect for shopping and dining. It's only a 5-6 minute drive to Fubao Village. The hotel's interior design is very tasteful, and every corner is beautiful. There's also a communal tea room. The meals included in the room rate are of high quality. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service. The complimentary travel photography was also a great experience. All in all, it was perfect, and I will definitely stay here again.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Kunming, with a direct skybridge to Spring City 66. The service is thoughtful and attentive; check-in was efficient, and attention to detail was evident. The breakfast offers a rich variety, including authentic local flavors like Yunnan rice noodles and Erkuai, all of which taste amazing. Bianca was incredibly attentive and responsive to all our needs. She also handled a small issue during our meal at Yunxiang restaurant very well, providing a gentle yet professional solution.

I just have to rave about it! **Ambiance:** The hotel's location is superb, right by Dianchi Lake with beautiful scenery all around. The interior boasts a designer style, with elegant and tasteful decor. The Hermes orange color scheme combined with ethnic elements makes it incredibly photogenic. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with soft bedding and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. **Service:** I really have to commend the service here! They offer 24-hour butler service, always on call. They proactively communicate via WeChat beforehand, and even arrange pick-up/drop-off and help with luggage. Upon check-in, there were welcome tea and snacks, including fresh flower cakes. They also provide free laundry and luggage storage. All my requests were promptly and professionally handled. The young lady at the front desk with glasses was especially attentive and deserves a five-star rating! Whether for a vacation or a business trip, this place is perfect. Great environment and excellent service – I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kunming.

MMarc1The hotel is beautifully located by a serene, quiet lake, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing stay. It is particularly popular among families with children, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast is fantastic, especially if you go early in the morning when the food is freshly prepared. However, later in the day, the selection may not be as fresh. While the staff does not speak English, navigating your stay is still manageable with some basic Chinese and the help of Google Translate—just as it is in many parts of China. I highly recommend booking a room with a spa on the balcony. These rooms are located on the second floor, offering greater privacy and more outdoor space. The spa feature itself can be a bit tricky to use—you need to ensure the water level is just right, as too much or too little will prevent it from working properly. Overall, the hotel is very clean, and the staff is accommodating and responsive to any requests. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent amenities, this is a great choice. Thank you for having me and for putting up with a stupid foreigner!

JJalieRoom was very clean and spacious. Cars do not stop in front of the hotel entrance and stop only at the main road so there is a short walk to the entrance of the hotel. There is self service bottled mineral water and dry snacks available at a mini bar beside the front desk, which is a plus. The heater/ aircon in our room was not functioning in the middle of the night and there was no ventilation. The staff kindly sent a fan to the room. Our room was quiet and bed was comfortable. There was a good variety for breakfast but the fruits runs out fast. Did not explore nearby but there seems to be a couple of eateries around.

MM-8_Despite the less-than-ideal weather in Kunming during the May Day holiday, my family still had a wonderful vacation. The hotel service was friendly, and all our requests via phone were promptly met. The facilities are top-notch; although they show their age, they are incredibly well-maintained. The dishes at Xiang Dao Xuan received unanimous praise from my family, especially the char siu and rice noodles, which were absolutely superb. The only minor downsides were that the executive lounge was too small, always requiring a wait for a table, and the quality of the afternoon tea and happy hour, as well as the breakfast variety, was just average. These small imperfections don't overshadow the overall experience; the InterContinental remains our top choice in Kunming.

ZzjolThis hostel is amazing ! Everything is perfectly clean, at the reception they speak perfect English and can give you indications on what to do and directions. The hostel is really nice, you have a rooftop where you can enjoy some time outside. There is a place to do laundry and they provide laundry detergent for free, you even have a place to hang your clothes to let them dry. There is a small restaurant where you can have yunnan specialities as well as some european dish (pasta, burger). I had a really good stay and will definitely comeback next time I am in Kunming.

GGuest UserThis hotel is right above Nanqiang Night Market, making it super convenient for food and drinks. It's on the fourth floor, and to get there, you take the elevator past a lounge bar, which is a nice spot for a drink in the evening. The best part is, the hotel entrance is past the bar, so it's not noisy at all. The room was incredibly spacious, easily big enough to throw a party in! I'm quite sensitive to dust mites, but the bedding here was really clean. Even though the room faced the street, it was completely quiet once the windows were closed. Overall, it was fantastic! I'll definitely recommend it to friends for their next stay.
