"Facilities: The facilities are quite new, and the hardware is excellent. The lobby environment is also very good. The breakfast was also great! Very rich indeed. I loved it, but my mom thought it was just okay.
Cleanliness: I didn't find any issues.
Environment: The location is superb, close to everything, and incredibly close to the high-high-speed train station.
Service: A special shout-out for the service! Every staff member was wonderful! They genuinely tried to solve every problem encountered, not just going through the motions. They truly thought about how to resolve issues. I had to change rooms midway due to a minor issue, and the new room was not only clean and tidy but every single item was placed exactly as it was in my original room! Incredible attention to detail!"

"The hotel is similar to other City Comfort Inn, the amenities good and room clean, toilet is good too. The staff servicing is wonderful., the counter told that their windows room does not have a city view instead its facing the residential units. Too bad, I was hoping for city view.
My only concern on this hotel is that the location is not really near the main shopping district, you need to walk about 2km or take taxi. During my 5 days stay I still didnt manage to use the metro as a convenient transport, instead I walk or get ehailing driver to pick up.
Another difficulty I have is that the drop off and pick up point for taxi or e hailing car is block by motorcycle lane, so its difficult to carry luggage and go through fast riding motorcyclist.
There are many eateries within 10 minutes walk, and there are TCM pharmacy as well bread store just beside the hotel.
Its fine if you are traveling lite and staying few days. Just don't expect its really at main shopping district or near mall."

GGuest UserThe room features a blend of solid wood, marble, and gold metallic accents, combining vintage charm with modern industrial design. Outside the window, you can admire the night view of Kunming's Spring City 66 commercial district.
The eighth floor houses a spacious and well-equipped swimming pool and a 24-hour gym. On the fifth floor, you'll find a Chinese restaurant and a buffet restaurant, while the first floor offers a coffee shop and an afternoon tea spot. My stay here far surpassed my experience at the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao Shanghai. Emily, in particular, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. She even noticed it was a family member's birthday and arranged a surprise birthday setup, which was a wonderful touch. My family absolutely loved it, and this stay was fantastic. It's definitely my top choice for a downtown hotel.

GGuest UserHello everyone. We stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2024. Initially, we booked the hotel for 5 days, then we extended, extended and in the end, we stayed there for 11 nights. The hotel is new, clean. The rooms have good quality robes, toiletries. We were quite satisfied with the breakfasts. We were pleased with the availability of freshly squeezed juices. The main staff does not speak English, but this is not a problem, since the on-line translator saves us, and the staff tries very hard to understand what you want from them. The only person who speaks excellent English was the manager Sam. A man passionate about his work. He told us a lot about the hotel and what is nearby. And there is a lot there: a park with playgrounds, a bungee jump, and a birdhouse with parrots. Sam showed us a place next to the hotel, which is a set for films. Boat station, where you can take a boat and take a walk on the lake and go straight to the hotel grounds. The hotel itself is in a great location, in a lowland, on the shore of the lake. If you plan a trip to Kunming, then it is far from the city. But we needed a quiet and beautiful place. And we got it. With the window open in the evenings and mornings you can hear the fish splashing in the lake and the ducks quacking. It was great to sleep, as the mattress and pillows are of excellent quality. We will definitely come back here and will recommend it to our friends.
P.S. Once again, we say a huge thank you to Sam, he not only told and showed us a lot about the hotel and the surrounding area, he also helped us solve some issues with our luggage at the airport. A wonderful, responsive person. The hotel management is very lucky to have such a person on their team.

11390658****This room was exactly my type! I specifically chose to spend my last day here to relax. The open-air bath, with a milk and rose petal soak, just washed all my fatigue away! The whole guesthouse's design has a very Japanese feel, making me feel like I was actually in Japan. The breakfast was also incredibly rich and detailed, served individually, and entirely made with Yunnan specialty dishes! The butler was also very attentive and thoughtfully brought us things, making us feel very comfortable and secure during our stay. I would definitely want to stay at a guesthouse like this for three or four days next time! It's conveniently located within the World Expo Garden, but due to time constraints, I couldn't stay longer. I will absolutely come back next time!

The breakfast is good and is at the top of the hill with a great view. In room massage service was a highlight of our stay and very reasonably priced and excellent. It is a great choice if you don't mind a 40 -50 min ride into the city center.

The breakfast is rich and varied, from traditional Chinese breakfast to exquisite Western pastries, each one is mouth-watering. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is very delicious, which makes people satisfied and happy. The hotel's restaurant environment is elegant, and the waiter's service is also very thoughtful, making the dining process very pleasant.
The location of the hotel is also very advantageous, the transportation is very convenient, and there are many shopping malls, supermarkets and attractions around, which is very convenient for shopping and playing.
I am very satisfied with this stay experience. Next time I come to this city, I will definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended to everyone!

AAliya0302It is definitely more wedding venue, more local oriented, very nice territory around, good for photoshoot and stuff , nice and friendly staff helped me a lot, but it was a bit confusing in general, like i booked it cause of hotsprings and outdoor pool, turns out you cannot use the outdoor pool and from all hot things was working only one stone bath. So basically we ended up in a very strange situation when 3 groups of people have or to wait in line to that bath or seat on each other. However Indoor pool was nice, big and clean, but bring your towel. The room itself is ...let's say not cosy and a lot reminded a changing room, probably cause of sink right next to the bed. So sum up, good place to have fun, massage, spa say, nice photos and so on, but maybe not a best place to stay for tourist.

MM4726****The best service I experienced was at the Cloud Restaurant. I made a reservation a day before checking in, and everything was perfectly arranged. This hotel is really great for kids, offering excellent value for money in Kunming city.
Because it was a holiday, room service was a bit slow; I had to call three times every time I needed something. The butler's response was also a bit slow, but I only called room service after the butler didn't deliver what I asked for, and even then, it was still very slow.
There was a welcome fruit platter from Trip.com. Honestly, for Kunming, this fruit platter was a bit of a letdown—it would've been better not to send it at all, especially since I had to contact Trip.com staff to get it delivered.

The room also had an electric towel rack, which was a very thoughtful touch. Service was excellent too. Due to the summer crowds, all our meals were buffet-style, but we found them to be quite good, especially considering the ingredients were farm-sourced. Oh, and they also provided complimentary tickets to the Rose Garden. It's a beautiful spot, perfect for anyone who loves taking photos.

SShuijingxieI took my kids out for a vacation on May Day. The experience was five-star praise, and the service was very good. The environment was garden-style and very comfortable! The restaurant has a complete range of delicious dishes, and there is also a book bar and hot springs. A SPA was also given. It was a very good experience and I will come again if I have the chance. I will also recommend it to friends.

VvonneyFirst off, the location is a bit awkward. It's not close to Haigeng, quite a long walk, about 2 kilometers. Forget about taking a taxi, as it gets completely jammed during holidays. There are no bikes available for rent either. The hotel's resort vibe is pretty subpar, which was a bit disappointing. There were three or four hot springs open, but each one was occupied, and there was no changing area. It was a bit cold in winter. The breakfast had a good variety, but the quality was just so-so. As an Intercontinental Gold member, you can get a drink voucher for a freshly ground coffee upon check-in.
