"I got an upgrade to an executive room on the top floor. The room was quite spacious, with a round table and two chairs.
**Cleanliness:** The environment was clean and odorless.
**Environment:** The hotel has a grand exterior and is close to the train station; I walked over in about 15 minutes. The restaurant on the first floor is large and elegant. There's a bar in the lobby offering coffee, cakes, and afternoon tea. The hotel also has a shop.
**Service:** They provided welcome fruits and upgraded my room. I booked a package through Ctrip, which included a coconut chicken hotpot dinner (or I could choose the Jacaranda afternoon tea).
When I checked out, they even gave me a souvenir photo frame, tamarind candy (which was delicious!), and hand warmers – very thoughtful!
Overall, I felt it was great value for money. Highly recommend!"

GGuest UserMediocre. Stayed two nights and didn't experience any service. The welcome fruit, which was included in my package, I had to call to ask for myself. The room was also small. For over 2000 a night, all I got was access to the executive lounge. I was out exploring the whole time anyway, so I didn't even use it. For me, it wasn't worth it. My flight was at 5 AM, and they only let me extend my check-out to 2 PM, which made me rush to pack. I won't be staying here again in the future.

LLijuan ♪(^∇^*) This is my third visit this year, and I absolutely love this hotel, even though it's only 30 kilometers from my home. My favorite part is the large balcony, which offers a delightful view of the lake and lush green mountains, with high skies and drifting clouds – it's incredibly peaceful. The evenings are very quiet. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic.

LliathanongA relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable.
We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up.
We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists.
It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well.
Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

GGuest UserMy family loved the hotel. It was spacious with a courtyard, a lake, and fish. The gym was large and well-equipped with a wide variety of equipment. There were two heated swimming pools, which were cleaned every night. The hot spring water next to the pools was also drained and replaced with fresh water the next day. There were both indoor and outdoor pools, and the hot spring water was drawn from underground. The whole hotel was a recreational attraction. We originally only booked one night, but we were so relaxed and comfortable at the hotel that we extended our stay for another day. When my child got wet, the staff even kindly took them to dry.

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed.
First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature.
However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs.
The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options.
A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests.
A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level.
Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

MMunanxiziA wonderful hideaway for a hot spring getaway. The private courtyard comes with its own hot tub, or you can switch things up and use the public pools. In the evenings, you can catch a stunning sunset, and the Ancient Dian Kingdom Museum is right across the way. The villa's amenities are top-notch, and it's very clean, even including a private sauna. There weren't any bugs this season, which made it a super comfortable and relaxing spot for a few friends to unwind. The breakfast and dinner at the mountaintop restaurant are both excellent, and they do Western dishes really well too!

ZZuibangdedakeerOur trip was absolutely perfect this time! ✨ Before we even arrived, our butler, Clove, thoughtfully called ahead to ask about our preferences and even added us on WeChat to coordinate everything. Knowing we were traveling with a child and the whole family, she kindly upgraded our room for free and arranged for our family to have adjoining rooms, making our stay incredibly comfortable!
She also meticulously wrote out a super practical, personalized guide to local attractions and dining spots. She even thoughtfully reminded us about the changeable weather, suggesting we bring umbrellas and light jackets, truly thinking of every detail. The room was already prepared and set up before we checked in, making the entire process seamless and worry-free. Her service was gentle, meticulous, professional, and incredibly attentive. She was warm and thorough with everyone, creating such a wonderful atmosphere. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay, and it truly boosted our travel happiness. I highly recommend her and will definitely look for Clove again for our next stay!

GGuest UserFacilities: Overall pretty good, not old or run down. The pool and kids' play area are a bit dated, but everything else is fine.
Environment: The hot springs, lawns, and ponds in the park are all lovely. You can feed rabbits, swans, and peacocks – it's a great ecological spot.
Service: Service was just okay. Maybe they were too busy during the May Day holiday, but the front desk staff just kept apologizing... I called in advance to confirm some requests, including a bed rail, but absolutely nothing was done. It was quite something. The way the staff member installed the bed rail was also unbelievable – it clanged and banged all night! They put it *under* the bed, which wasn't high enough or stable. They ended up just pushing the bed against the wall to hold the rail in place, which was pretty funny.

GGuest UserI chose to stay at the GreenTree Eastern Hotel for this trip, and my overall experience was incredibly pleasant and satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, making travel very convenient. What truly impressed me was the soundproofing in the rooms; despite being in a bustling area, it was exceptionally quiet. Noise from the hallway and outside traffic was completely blocked out, allowing even light sleepers to rest peacefully, free from any disturbance. The hotel amenities are very thoughtful – there's a spacious and well-organized parking lot with plenty of free spaces, which is incredibly convenient. The self-service breakfast is outstanding, with a wide variety of dishes, a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, hot entrees, staple foods, noodles, congee, fresh fruits, vegetables, and various beverages, all made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The guest rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortably decorated. The staff are friendly, polite, and provide attentive and thorough service, making check-in and check-out quick and efficient. Overall, it offers superb value for money. Its excellent soundproofing, high-quality breakfast, and convenient parking perfectly meet all needs, making it a fantastic choice for accommodation. I genuinely recommend it.
