FourPoints by Sheraton Kunming City Centre Hotel

This newly opened downtown hotel, built in 2025, is a gem! It's just a 3-minute walk to Kunming Old Street, Shuncheng, and Jinma Biji Archway. Plus, there are tons of amazing food options nearby, making it the perfect base for any food-loving adventurer. The entire room features smart controls, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. While the hairdryer isn't a Dyson, the Laifen is still excellent. We even received complimentary welcome fruit upon arrival, and the minibar is entirely free. The concierge was proactive in helping with our luggage, and the views from our 28th-floor room, overlooking the city lights at night, were stunning. The 24-hour gym is a huge plus, allowing me to work out whenever I wanted – a truly thoughtful amenity. Many star-rated hotels are still stuck with traditional satellite TV, so it was a delight to find that this one offers screen mirroring that works seamlessly. The smart entertainment system is a standout feature, and I give it a big thumbs up! (*≧∪≦)👍🏻 Now, let's talk about breakfast: The selection of Chinese and Western dishes is extensive, including many authentic Yunnan specialties. The rare pea flour, kumiss, five-color glutinous rice, and flower cakes were all outstanding and delicious. My only regret is not getting to try the Eggs Benedict – a slight disappointment. The restaurant service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, proactively guiding us to our table. They even offered coffee to go, cleared plates promptly, and provided warm and thorough service throughout. This truly enhanced my experience. Justin Liu deserves a special mention for his proactive enthusiasm and prompt responses. Five stars!

The service was excellent; they helped with luggage and even upgraded me to a King room for free. The room was clean, spacious, and had a great view of the old town. The bedding was comfortable, the room layout was well-designed, and it even had an air purifier. Very good overall.

The hotel is located in the most bustling area of Kunming, right above Kunming Department Store. You're literally steps away from all the popular eateries. However, the hotel entrance and front desk don't quite match the Sheraton brand's vibe, and with only two elevators, the wait time can be a bit long. The front desk staff kindly arranged a quieter-facing room for us. Breakfast was decent, nothing special. Overall, its fantastic location is definitely the highlight, though the summer holiday price felt a bit high.

The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the old street, which is very convenient. It's also easy to get a taxi to other places. There's always someone to help with luggage at the hotel entrance, and they greet you every time you come and go. The hotel's cleanliness is also very good.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Shuncheng Shopping Center, and within walking distance to Kunming Old Street. The rooms are clean, tidy, and relatively new. Breakfast offers a good variety too. A special thanks to the front desk staff who promptly and proactively resolved the issue I raised. Kunming, with its pleasant 20-something degree weather, made me feel a 100-degree warmth! :) I love Kunming and will definitely be back! Thank you to the Four Points by Sheraton staff.

I brought my son to Kunming and we felt very comfortable and secure at this hotel. The room was bright and clean, the large bed was cozy, and the bathroom had a sleek design (I particularly loved the frosted glass door in the picture). Welcome drinks and a tea set were all provided, making it tempting to just stay in. The hotel even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. It's perfect for both business and leisure; I'll definitely choose this place again next time~

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with various local snacks, Kunming Department Store, Shuncheng Shopping Center, and Wangfujing Department Store right downstairs. You can easily walk to Kunming Old Street, Cuihu Lake, Wenlin Street, and Culture Alley. I especially want to commend the laundry room; it's clean and well-maintained, and they even have staff supervising it, so guests can feel secure leaving their clothes and heading out to explore.

The hotel is fantastic! It's in a prime location, right in the city center. As soon as you step out, you're in the main commercial district, close to the old town, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the facilities are new and excellent!

The service is very thoughtful; we even received a cute snack bag and a little elephant doll upon check-in. They even prepared special toiletries for children, which was especially heartwarming for traveling with kids. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. The gym is well-equipped, making it easy to fit in a workout in the evenings. The room was clean and tidy, and overall, it was a great experience. We'll definitely choose this place again next time!
