Hotels with Breakfast in Kunming

I had a very comfortable stay this time! The location is super convenient, just a ten-minute walk to Kunming Station, and it's easy to catch a taxi to the airport. The room was spotless and very well soundproofed, so it was quiet at night. The breakfast had a great selection, including rice noodles, shaomai, bread, and hot stir-fried dishes, all of which tasted good. The staff were very attentive and always greeted guests with a smile, looking energetic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming.

This newly opened downtown hotel, built in 2025, is a gem! It's just a 3-minute walk to Kunming Old Street, Shuncheng, and Jinma Biji Archway. Plus, there are tons of amazing food options nearby, making it the perfect base for any food-loving adventurer. The entire room features smart controls, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. While the hairdryer isn't a Dyson, the Laifen is still excellent. We even received complimentary welcome fruit upon arrival, and the minibar is entirely free. The concierge was proactive in helping with our luggage, and the views from our 28th-floor room, overlooking the city lights at night, were stunning. The 24-hour gym is a huge plus, allowing me to work out whenever I wanted – a truly thoughtful amenity. Many star-rated hotels are still stuck with traditional satellite TV, so it was a delight to find that this one offers screen mirroring that works seamlessly. The smart entertainment system is a standout feature, and I give it a big thumbs up! (*≧∪≦)👍🏻 Now, let's talk about breakfast: The selection of Chinese and Western dishes is extensive, including many authentic Yunnan specialties. The rare pea flour, kumiss, five-color glutinous rice, and flower cakes were all outstanding and delicious. My only regret is not getting to try the Eggs Benedict – a slight disappointment. The restaurant service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, proactively guiding us to our table. They even offered coffee to go, cleared plates promptly, and provided warm and thorough service throughout. This truly enhanced my experience. Justin Liu deserves a special mention for his proactive enthusiasm and prompt responses. Five stars!

For anyone with kids who has a layover and an early flight the next morning, there's truly no better choice than this hotel! It's fantastic! After collecting your luggage at the airport, just head to building 5 opposite the arrival hall, take the direct elevator to the 2nd floor, and you're there – super convenient. The absolute best part is that you can push the airport luggage cart *all the way to your room door*! You can keep pushing the cart the whole way, with all your luggage and kids on it. It saved so much effort! Our room was also very clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure, making for a really comfortable shower. Traveling with kids and catching a flight usually involves a lot of hassle, but here we could rest comfortably for the night. We had an 8:20 AM international flight the next day. From the hotel lobby, you just take the elevator up one floor to check in directly. The whole process took about 5 minutes! The kids could sleep in a bit longer, and we just woke them up closer to the time. It was truly stress-free!!! If you're traveling with kids, especially for a layover or an early international flight, I highly recommend this place! It's convenient, saves effort, is clean, and so close to the airport. Staying here with kids for a night couldn't be more perfect!

The room facilities are complete, and it's very clean. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is excellent, with a shopping mall right downstairs and close proximity to various attractions. It's highly recommended, and I'd definitely come back again.

The location is incredibly convenient! It's just a 20-minute drive to the airport, and you can walk to MixC Shopping Mall and Donghua Farmers Market. Getting to Old Street takes only about 10 minutes by taxi, making it super easy to get around and explore. The room was spotless, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The soundproofing was much better than I expected. The staff were all so friendly and polite, always quick to help with any issues. The breakfast spread was also excellent, and the rice noodles were delicious. My stay was absolutely perfect!

Our first stop on our Yunnan trip was Kunming, and we chose a five-star hotel near the city center. Upon arrival, we were greeted by staff who guided us in, and the ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even thoughtfully prepared toiletries specifically for our child, which was a very nice touch. The hotel itself is grand and impressive, and the breakfast buffet was even more so, with staff on hand to recommend dishes – truly delicious! What really surprised us was the gym; it's fully equipped, comparable to a dedicated fitness center, and they even provide towels. Working out there felt amazing afterwards! This level of facilities is something homestays just can't compete with... (The only minor downside was the slow internet speed, both Wi-Fi and 5G).

## Facilities: Although the interior facilities are a bit dated, they come with up-to-date features like electric curtain openers. ## Hygiene: Generally, the hygiene was good. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, and pool staff) were all very enthusiastic and responsible, offering me a lot of help. However, some corners and edges could use improvement, such as the large water stains on the balcony. ## Environment: The environment is quiet. While the location isn't exceptionally unique, it's convenient for getting to the train station and Dianchi Lake, and it's very peaceful for sleeping at night. ## Service: All the staff were very hardworking and enthusiastic. Thank you for all the help during my stay. We had two children, and they even gave them a hot spring ticket and a souvenir. Overall, this is an excellent choice for a family trip to Kunming.

Overall, it was genuinely great. I stayed here with my parents and child, and the beds were quite large. The breakfast was plentiful; though I didn't get to try it, my parents did and they were very happy, which made me happy too. The front desk staff was excellent. When my child wasn't feeling well, they told us which hospital to go to, and all our questions and issues were communicated and resolved promptly. The hotel also has a laundry room. It was a pleasant stay, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. Really good!

This hotel is excellent! I originally came to Panlong for business and just randomly booked a hotel since I knew I'd be switching. To my surprise, I found it so comfortable after checking in that I decided to extend my stay – and ended up staying for four nights! A special thanks to the lovely front desk lady with the round face. On the first night, my family of three stayed in a king-size room, and she gave us a room with a three-meter-wide bed. The next day, I mentioned the room felt a bit small, and she graciously upgraded us to a twin room, really accommodating my needs. Her service was top-notch! The hotel is clean, hygienic, and all the facilities are complete, new, and in great condition. The bed was comfortable, and the price was fantastic – very budget-friendly! Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely consider this hotel first. There's parking available, and it's easy to catch a taxi. Plus, the Ruiding City Shopping Center is just next door, which is incredibly convenient! Highly recommend! This is genuinely the first time I've written such a long review just because of a hotel stay! I didn't take any photos, but it looks exactly like the pictures!!

The in-room amenities are smart and having direct drinking water is very convenient. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. They even prepared a surprise birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch! The location is great, with a Hang Lung Plaza nearby and direct subway access right outside the door. The front desk staff, Isabel, Andy, and Lynn, were all very warm, attentive, and dedicated.
