Enjoyed our 3 nights at Noku Phuket! The front desk and bell team were absolutely lovely during our time here, and we had a complimentary upgrade to the room with the whirlpool in our balcony! Loved that the room was super spacious, and there were dual sinks in the bathroom. Location was pretty far but they provided complimentary shuttles to Phuket town too! Didn’t manage to explore the breakfast, dining and spa offerings during this stay! It would be good if the hotel could look into improving their flooring (there were some gaps & there was even a piece of wood sticking out and was a hazard). The linen was really thin and not fitting of 5 star standard, which was a shame as the hotel was really pretty! But overall still a highly recommended stay!

This hotel was an exceptional choice, and I am extremely pleased with my decision to stay here. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. The location was also excellent, with convenient access to shops, massage parlours, restaurants, and other local amenities. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, with my room being thoroughly maintained and cleaned every day. I was particularly touched by the thoughtful birthday gesture during my stay. As I was celebrating my 30th birthday, the staff kindly surprised me by singing “Happy Birthday” and presenting me with a cake. It was such a lovely and memorable experience. I genuinely miss this place and left feeling extremely happy and satisfied with my choice of hotel. The wonderful hospitality and attention to detail made my stay even more special. I would highly recommend Chanalai Hillside to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, conveniently located hotel with excellent service. You certainly won’t regret booking your stay here! 🥹🫶🏾💯

I stayed here ten years ago. Perhaps due to some Chinese superstitions, there weren't many Chinese guests, and breakfast was primarily Western-style. Of course, the room facilities can't compare to newly opened hotels in China, given that this is an established resort. Aside from that, the resort ambiance was fantastic. On the day we checked in, which was my child's birthday, they thoughtfully sent a birthday cake while we were out – a nice little surprise. The hotel is situated in a quiet yet central location in Patong. The pool is huge, offering expansive views directly facing the sea. On clear days, you can watch the sunset from the pool. It's separated from the beach by just a small road, making it very convenient for beach activities or simply relaxing. We stayed in a swim-up room for two nights, which felt more like a private pool. However, with kids, we preferred the main pool, mainly for the better views. We basically spent our days by the pool and evenings at the beach. There's a good massage place and restaurant right by the hotel's main entrance. They're next to each other, and the restaurant, belonging to the neighboring hotel, has a trendy, Instagrammable vibe and is popular with many foreigners. If the hotel breakfast isn't to your liking, you can have brunch there; we ate there several times and also had massages for a few days straight. This trip, we stayed in both Karon and Patong, but next time, I'd only choose Patong – it's much more convenient for going out and exploring.

Highly impressed with my stay at The Dorm Hostel as a solo traveler. This hostel meets every need! Content: It praises the cleanliness, superb location (convenient for attractions/transport), the friendly and helpful staff (excellent service), and the great amenities (comfortable beds, large lockers, nice common areas). Conclusion: Highly recommend it for solo travelers looking for great value, cleanliness, and a good atmosphere. Will definitely come back!

Compared to other hotels in Asia, the cleanliness here is average. We travel frequently in Asia, so dirty floors, smudged panoramic windows, and someone else's hair in the bathroom no longer annoy us; it's practically the norm. However, we were not impressed with the staff's attitude. We've been staying here for a month and plan to continue, but we haven't seen any loyalty from the staff regarding our needs. We initially stayed in a loft for 10 days. Then, we wanted to upgrade to a larger and more comfortable room. A day before, we approached the reception to ask how best to do this and what kind of room we would get (we requested one not too far from our current one, as we have a lot of luggage and are a family of three). We were told that the room would be whatever was available the next day, and they refused to let us book a specific one. They also refused to let us move in the evening (we asked at 6 PM, and they said if we wanted to move now, it would be an upgrade for which we hadn't paid for that day). It was disappointing, as we didn't want to spend a day of our vacation moving; it would have been much better to do it in the evening, but fine. Next, we asked when we could move, because according to hotel rules, check-in is after 3 PM and check-out is at 12 PM. We couldn't just sit with our belongings in the corridor, so they allowed us to wait in our current room until 3 PM. Okay, we prepared for 3 PM, planned our time, and then at 12 PM, we were told, ”Your time is up, you need to check out!” 😂 Thankfully, they did allow us to move directly into our new room. However, they couldn't help us with the move; they even refused to bring a trolley to our room, which we've never encountered before. On top of that, they blocked our old room cards, so my husband, who went to get a trolley, couldn't return because the new card only worked for a different floor. We had to run all over the hotel with that trolley. Once we settled into the upgraded room, we found that the wardrobes were faulty. The doors would open, but if they opened, they wouldn't close. We called a technician, they fixed everything, but left a lot of trash behind. There are small ants running all over the apartment, and in the bathroom, I found a ”tomkat” (an insect that severely affects the skin if crushed). And by the way, the hotel is half-empty; it's off-season, so the hotel had the opportunity to accommodate us at a convenient time, but they are not loyal to guests and stick to their rigid policies. We are staying here because of the stove and kitchenware, as we have a small child, and the fact that it's a 2-minute boat ride to the sea. These are probably the only positives. I don't recommend the lofts; they are all dark and tiny. They might be okay for two people, but there's very little space for a family. The second floor is more of a chill-out area, and you can't really sleep there. Another plus, if you get a room with a view of the water, it's a very beautiful view.

Excellent hotel! My child attended many workshops and activities. The staff are caring and attentive, huge thanks to them. There are plenty of sun loungers by the pool, always a spot to relax, and an excellent bar with delicious cocktails. The housekeeping is top-notch; our room was cleaned twice a day and the bed was made. The hotel has a very convenient app with all the information you need, and you can even order extra necessities to your room. I ordered an additional pillow and there were several different types to choose from. The breakfasts are excellent, and on certain days, there are seafood dinners. The buffet includes oysters, crab, shrimp, and hot dishes, all for 1250 baht. We will definitely be back. This is one of the best hotels for our vacation ❤️

The service was incredibly warm and welcoming, and having the 'rabbit car' (shuttle service) was a great help for getting around. We received a complimentary welcome fruit basket on our first day, which was a lovely touch. The hotel also boasts a private beach that remains peaceful and private even during peak season. We'd definitely come back again. The only minor drawback was that the Italian risotto I had was a bit undercooked, quite al dente.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful, and this is my sixth time staying here. The place is clean, the rooms are comfortable, and the service is excellent. All the staff were cooperative and friendly. I would like to extend my thanks to all the staff in general, and specifically to Ms. Cha for her high professionalism, kindness, and her constant eagerness to help with a smile. She was quick to respond to my requests and made my stay more comfortable and exceptional. I thank her for her excellent attention, and I will be returning to the hotel again on July 27th, thanks to the excellent level of service.

Spectacular views of the sea from the rooms make this resort a winner for feelings of peace and solitude. My room included a ceiling fan and a separate rain shower next to the bath tub. A massive free breakfast buffet starts the day for most guests, with changing options on a daily basis. Before breakfast I walked down the steep driveway to the private beach to swim either in the sea or the small pool next to it. At 7 am there is nobody around. One morning I took out a kayak (one hour free) which had stunning panoramic views. There are two swimming pools by the resort’s main building and both are delightful for swimming and relaxing. Nothing much to do in the evening and the TV channel selection could be expanded with movie channels (e.g., HBO, Cinemax), educational channels like Discovery Asia, and nature channels like BBC Earth and Love Nature. I partook in a 90 minute herbal pack massage which was a bit pricy but very professional. Both lunch and dinner menus have sufficient variety of dishes and food quality was good. Staff were always helpful. In summary, Supalai Scenic Bay Resort is a wonderfully serene experience at a very reasonable room price.          

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Sunset Beach Resort. The facilities are a bit dated, but they are well maintained, which I truly appreciate. You can tell the resort takes good care of what it has. The location is generally fine, though the beach directly in front of the resort isn’t the best. Patong Beach is about a 300+ meter walk away, which is manageable, just something to note for guests who expect a beachfront swimming spot. The only part that slightly affected our experience was the shuttle service — not a big issue, but a memorable one. On 1 February, around 5:30 PM, we informed the front desk that we needed the 6:30 PM shuttle to Bangla Street. We even confirmed it twice and were told to sit and wait, as the staff would notify us when the shuttle arrived. We made sure they knew exactly where we were waiting. By 7:00 PM, after no update, we went back to the front desk only to be told that the shuttle had already left. The staff apologized and admitted she had overlooked us, and arranged the next shuttle. Nothing serious — just an unexpected extra 30 minutes of “resort relaxation time” we hadn’t planned for. 😊 Still, aside from this hiccup, the stay was comfortable, and with a bit more attention to shuttle coordination, the experience would be even better.
