Kamala Beach Phuket|0.63km from Kamala Beach
Since we are a Club Mahindra member, so we chose this hotel in Phuket. Went with my wife and my daughter (18 Yrs). The property over all is very good and away from the busy areas. Some of the precise observations listed below. Hope this helps in making the decision Pros: 1. Smooth Check-in 2. Very clean and tidy property 3. Spacious Room (1 Bedroom Suite) 4. Comfortable bed & pillows 5. Couple of Indian restaurants just outside the hotel 6. Good Indian food 7. Very nice pool 8. Helpful staff Cons: 1. No 7/11 around. The nearest is about a km and a half and the taxi will charge 40 bahts too and fro. So, plan your purchases accordingly when you go there. 2. Little inside the main road. Difficult to walk the beach seems very far away due to the heat as there's no private beach. 3. Not much to do in the area where it's located. Patong beach is 20 minutes away which isn't much but commuting will cost some money 4. Electricity sockets are in a bad condition and not at the right places. Please check the sockets of the room before you are allocated the room 5. No kitchnette inside the room Special mention: 1. Harish Bahuguna, the Indian chef cooks a great food. He cooked a very nice fish masala and lentil (Dal) for us. It was precisely as per the instructions 2. Vacilli at the travel desk. Very helpful and cooperative. One has to negotiate but I definitely give full marks to his sales skills Overall, if you like a quite area then go for this. I am rating it very good due to the pros that I have mentioned above.

The hotel is located 3 minutes away from Kamala beach at the entrance of the road. It was easy to reach here and it was very comfortable to go from the hotel. Our large room was clean and was really beautifully thought in the accommodation. The room had a very beautiful balcony to sit here. It was pleasant to sit here. The pool and restaurant were enough. We were very happy to stay

The room is very large, the facilities are relatively new, and the service attitude is very good. You need to check in as early as possible, otherwise you will be given a room close to the road. The motorcycles in Thailand are too noisy, and there will be motorcycles all night. The next day I changed to a room near the south, which was fine and there was no noise. The swimming pool in the room is the highlight. But it is best to rent a car, the traffic is inconvenient.

We booked a sea-view room and a garden-view room. The two room types are relatively far away. The hotel upgraded the suite directly to us for free. The suite has two bedrooms, a large living room and dining room, and a balcony, which directly overlooks the sea. There are also microwave ovens and kitchenware, and you can cook your own meals. Really good. Very suitable for family travel, there is a place nearby to eat very good.

I had the luxury at staying Sunprime Kamala Beach for nine nights. It was absolute heaven. I would highly recommend the resort to anyone. The staff are very friendly. The food is excellent and the pools are amazing. The location is right on the beach close to the shops. The room was clean and cool. I will definitely stay there again. Amazing experience.

New hotel that opened in Oct23. Hence you can expect brand new furnishes and facilities. Stayed here on NYE wanting to catch the fireworks display on Kamala beach. Everything is ok except for the service that can be improved. Ordered in room dining and waited 2 hrs only to find our that they missed my order. Manager did a service recovery by ordering food FOC from the buffet dinner. Next day during check out was charged another 2,000thb for ‘banquet’. They claimed this was for the alcohol purchased during the countdown celebration. Again, i paid full cash for all the alcohol i consumed. Service and communication seems lacking in this new establishment. Perhaps it is the peak season that has led to part-time workers who were brought in to help. Even then, would not expect a 5 star hotel to be so, much less the atonishing price i paid that night. Nonetheless, things like this do happen. Will visit again if im in Kamala.

Stayed here for 4D3N. It's a memorable experience. Applaudable service by the entire crew. We stayed 1 night at Beach Front Terrace which is right in front of a pool and 2 nights at Beach Front Balcony which gives you a spectacular blue seaview. You have about 7 pools, beautiful and clean beach to enjoy yourself with. Breakfast spread was great. Kids club filled with activities for kids and teens. They have activities for aduts too. Special thanks to Renelyn who went out of her way to setup a complimentary birthday decoration for our daughter, despite her having leg injury. Thanks again Renelyn. Highly appreciate your effort. Also Monet(hope im getting the name right), who gave us lots of insightful local whereabouts and history. Not forgetting Yuya at Kids club who ever attending to our kids and others. Ah there's this 2 bellmen who was very helpful as well. Overall, we noticed that all of the crew enjoying their work and will go extra mile if needed. You can always expect a greeting and see a smile on their face. A must visit.
