Kora Beach Resort Phuket

The hotel is a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport. Check-in was quick and smooth. We were offered a welcome drink and a refreshing cold towel. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade; we had booked a garden view but received a room with direct access to our own pool. The hotel consists of several four-story buildings, each with its own elongated pool, plus there's a large central pool with a bar. The main building houses the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and there's a rooftop bar with a panoramic view. The hotel is located right across the road from the sea, with new hotels being built nearby. The beach area is lush with trees and greenery; you walk through a small forest to get there. The beach was very quiet, with only hotel guests present. The shore is clean, and the entry into the sea is gradual, shallow, and the water is clear. There are a couple of stalls on the beach selling drinks and coconuts. We were very pleased with the hotel. The buffet was well worth the price, offering a great variety of dishes, fruits, vegetables, and greens. The service, assistance, and attentiveness of the staff were excellent. The hotel is quite isolated; there are no cafes, shops, or scooter rentals in the immediate vicinity. Initially, we were a bit disappointed that the only cafe within walking distance was about 1 km away. We regretted not renting a scooter from day one, as it would have made our vacation much easier. I've stayed in many hotels in Thailand, and Hotel Kora is a solid 4+. It was a wonderful stay. If you're looking for solitude, peace, and sunset walks without crowds of Russian tourists, this is the place for you.

Had a fantastic trip! Spent a perfect holiday with friends! The service here is excellent and the environment is lovely. Every morning, someone meticulously cleans the pool. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and the Easter activities were a delightful surprise! It's definitely a resort I'd choose again!

This hotel is new, fresh, and offers a good selection for breakfast. A big plus is its proximity to the sea and a clean beach. The beach is wide, with clean sand and a gentle entry into the water. There are no sun loungers on the beach, but the hotel provides towels and mats. On the downside, the hotel is quite isolated from civilization, so you'll need to drive everywhere. If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle and truly relax, then this is the perfect hotel for you.

My flight was canceled, so I extended my stay for another night. It was as comfortable as ever, truly a high-value resort hotel. You step right out onto the beach, and the dining experience is excellent.

We booked this hotel a few days after Chinese New Year, and prices were incredibly high with only one room type left. We ended up with a 'pool room,' which was in the furthest building, on the first floor, at a corner. The 'pool' was so narrow it looked more like a stream flowing past the entrance, and the water was murky. To make matters worse, the 'pool' area had a fence right next to a busy road, with vehicles driving past non-stop, 24/7. It felt like sleeping in a guardhouse with all the noise – motorbikes at night, heavy construction trucks in the early morning due to a nearby construction site. The restaurant prices were quite high, and there were so many flies that one even flew into my beer glass on the first day. The prices were several times what they should have been. Terrible value for money. As you can see in picture three, large trucks were constantly passing by outside the window. Is this really a place to sleep? Utterly disappointing…
