"The facilities of this hotel are fantastic and the location is good for the market and water park. However, the service was really disappointing. Upon arrival, we were told we were upgraded from a studio to a one bed which sounded great. However, the only difference between the rooms was an additional privacy screen which was stiff and difficult to move as well as being covered in smears and dirty. When we booked the hotel we were excited about the amenities including the free fitness classes. The QR code to book this took me to a link to pay for them so I messaged reception on the WhatsApp which they had informed could be used for “any questions”. The reception couldn’t help and didn’t give any advice other than go to the gym - we were on our way out and the class was at 9am the next day so we ran up there. There were no staff in the gym and the restaurant staff also couldnt advise as to where the staff were. We then walked down to reception for advice again - they told us go to the gym, we said we had done this and they then said wait until the class and just show up as they didn’t know the process to book. As a hotel that advertised the fascilities and gym classes it’s quite shocking that the reception wouldn’t be able to advise on the booking system - it genuinely felt like they didn’t want to help. Given the class was at 9am I didn’t want to just turn up in case there wasn’t space. After 10 mins back and forth they conceded and radio up to the gym and ask a staff member to be there. We then go up there again and the gym staff member ALSO didn’t know the proper booking process. Eventually they took our email addresses to add us to the list. This took an unnecessarily long time with a lot of run around and staff that really didn’t want to help us/know the internal processes - these are things I would expect any hotel staff to know as a minimum. We were originally looking at coming back to stay for a month or so in their apartments as the price is great however, the poor service and lack of knowledge of processes has meant that this hotel has lost a potential repeat customer."

"Great location! The air conditioning blew directly on the bed, which was a bit uncomfortable. For the first two nights of our four-day stay, our room on the second floor facing the street was quite noisy. After speaking with the front desk, we were moved to a room on the fourth floor at the back, which was much better. The service was excellent, and communication was generally easy. There were even staff members who spoke Chinese, which was a plus. Unfortunately, we were out on excursions most of the time and didn't get to use the hotel pool."

"A great stay in Phuket with a central location that made getting around very easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was definitely good value for money. Breakfast was fairly average, but overall the experience was positive and enjoyable.”"

"The hotel is very good for the price. Our room was spacious enough and kept pretty clean throughout our stay. Cleaning service was daily (you just need to hang the notice on the door). The breakfast was a buffet. There wasn't a huge variety, but it was enough to get a good start to the day. The rooftop pool offers a nice view of the mountains. Unfortunately, the pool bar was closed during our stay. The location is pretty good — around a 15-minute walk to Patong Beach and just 3 minutes to the famous Bangla Road. I was a bit worried that it might be very noisy because there's a Bangla Boxing Stadium right near the hotel, but it was always calm after 11 p.m. Excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again."

"Our stay at Cassia Phuket was absolutely amazing! We stayed in the Loft Room, and the view of the lagoon and the beach from our room was simply breathtaking — it felt like waking up in a postcard every morning. The hotel’s location is perfect, with direct access to both the lagoon and the beach. One of our favorite parts was the complimentary ferry that takes guests across the lagoon to the beach every 20 minutes — such a fun and convenient touch that made getting around effortless. The atmosphere at Cassia is vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to help. The modern design of the rooms, the lively community spaces, and the stunning natural surroundings made our stay unforgettable not to forget mentioning pet friendly hotel. Cassia Phuket truly captures the best of relaxation, style, and island charm!"

"When checking in, the front desk lady was very gentle and even offered pomegranate juice, which was delightfully sweet and sour. She also provided wet wipes for our hands, making for a truly excellent experience. The room was very clean, and although the facilities showed some age, it didn't detract from their use; rather, it added a certain zen-like charm. The environment was also very quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a large bathtub for a relaxing soak, and the TV could connect to the internet for streaming without needing a subscription."

"This hotel boasts a prime location—it's a mere two-minute stroll to the famous Patong Beach. * The Room: The accommodations are impressively spacious and sparkling clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable, providing a sense of total relaxation. * Amenities: Everything you need is provided, including a kettle for hot water. It’s an ideal setup for couples looking for a romantic getaway; it definitely lived up to my expectations. * The Vibe: Despite being located right across from a food center and surrounded by vibrant cafes and bars, noise wasn't an issue. I was initially worried about the nightlife, but I actually had a very peaceful sleep. The housekeeper male staff is also friendly and quite helpful. Why It Stands Out: Compared to other hotels in the area, this place offers exceptional value for money. It feels like a reliable ”home base” for travelers, nestled in a beautiful part of town."

"The hotel is advertised as having a gourmet restaurant, but in my opinion the food did not quite meet gourmet standards. That said, we booked a sea-facing unit and the view was absolutely magnificent — very peaceful and calming. Kamala Beach in general is a quieter area, which we really appreciated. There is a shuttle service provided, but the timing is quite limited. Given the price guests pay for this hotel, it would be better to have more frequent shuttle services instead of fixed timings. That said, it only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the main street where there are many shops and restaurants, so it is still manageable. One issue we faced was that there was no clear sign or button in the room to indicate housekeeping service, and as a result, we ended up not having housekeeping during our stay. The phone line in the room also needs attention, as there was noticeable disturbance noise when calling reception. Overall, it is a nice place to stay with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere, but there are some service and maintenance areas that management could improve further."

"The location is amazing, walkable access to the beach. No basic amenities provided like dental kit, sleepers etc. Amazed to see Missing or stolen Items rate sheets, never seen anywhere in the world. Rooms located in the backyard garden need painting and plaster, smells of putty paint in rooms. It is better to book a private villa which has a swimming pool 24/7 access. If booking a basic room is not at all recommended..No Swimming pool access to backyard garden rooms, 4 other pools are occupied by Private villa people. Mosquitoes everywhere, they must have mosquito repellent options in the room, which is basic sense not provided at all. Recommended for old retired couples, not at all recommended for families with kids. On this charge better options are available. Please check Room photos properly before booking."

"Pros: 1. The pool is clean and a reasonable depth, suitable for both adults and children. 2. The environment is elegant and quite tidy. The decor is a bit old-fashioned but grand. Cons: 1. The balcony faces the street, so it's extremely noisy, with motorbikes roaring past. The balcony glass door doesn't block out the sound at all, and the curtains don't seal well. 2. The electrical appliances are old. The air conditioner is particularly loud and takes about 5 minutes to cool down. 3. The bathroom exhaust fan causes odors to come back from the drain, and the wooden window frame has mold. Major complaints: 1. We arrived at 1 AM, and there's a long flight of stairs at the hotel entrance! The front desk staff didn't offer help proactively and only assisted with luggage after we asked. 2. The hotel only provides a fixed number of bottled water (e.g., for three of us, only three bottles were given). When I called the front desk later that night to ask for three more bottles, I was refused. The staff said that if the room had been cleaned and water replenished that day, they wouldn't provide more. I've never encountered such a situation in my previous travels; it seems a bit excessively stingy."
