GGuest UserThe hotel was located within an area with a lot of massage parlours and eateries which was great. The grand Batam mall was just next to the hotel which was easily accessible with connecting lift access. There’s also other shopping malls within walking distance too.
The hotel facilities (swimming pool and gym) were good though we didn’t use them.
The complimentary high tea food at Oak Bistro was surprisingly good comprising sweet and savoury items.
The welcome snacks and beverages in room was a surprise as we thought it was chargeable.. turns out it was complimentary!
Buffet breakfast spread was standard but the bread and steam dim sum were hard and cold.
The fried noodles and rice were also quite cold though it was closed with a cover. Overall the buffet was satisfactory. Service staff cleaning the plates were kind of slow though there weren’t many guests.
Room amenities was basic and good. Overall stay was great. Would recommend staying at this hotel due to the good location and facilities and access to other places within Batam.

Everyone was super nice ❤️ This hotel is currently my TOP 1 🫶🏻 I'll definitely go again next time ❤️ If you're looking for a luxurious and comfortable experience, you should definitely try this hotel 👍🏻 They have airport pickup and shuttle services 🫶🏻 The environment is also really comfortable 🫰🏻 And the food was delicious 😋

SSumi BeenThe hotel is clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here. The lobby is very bright and spacious. There is also an Indomaret just around a 2-minute walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. Even though there are not many food places or restaurants nearby, it was not a problem for us since we were using a motorbike.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.

Although the room had a strong floral scent from the cleaning products when we first entered, the overall experience was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond by surprising me with a birthday song and a complimentary cake, which made my celebration truly special. Everyone was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The excellent hospitality made this a memorable stay, and I would happily return.

GGuest UserI like the freshness I see with certain promotional activities to introduce international food to the guests. A well located hotel to taste the rustic and modern side of Batam, around Penuin. For those who love wet markets, this is just a stone throw away from Aston Inn Gideon Hotel.

AAnonymous UserNice hotel with Spacious apartment and comfortable beds and pillows. Good view with balcony. Hot water not very hot but acceptable. Very good service and friendly staff. We asked for extra hair dryer and they sent immediately although it's already midnight. Location wise it's further from Nagoya Hill but it's quite easy and cheap to get a Grab ride. Buffet breakfast is quite good with choices of asian and western dishes They even have a counter for Yao Char Koey!

Ssalmon1090I like this hotel: quite, private, relaxing. The villa is very big (not a fan of big spaces), it would be perfect for families. The rooms are quite nice, and view is great to be honest. I didn't like the breakfast so much (can be improved), but the other restaurants are quite good. The massage place is a MUST: it was the best part of the activities.

Unfortunately, the villa itself was quite run down and appeared to lack proper upkeep and maintenance, which was disappointing given my expectations. There is insufficient power plug for phone / tablet charging. The breakfast spread was decent, with a reasonable variety of options to start the day.
Overall, while the service was excellent, the condition of the villa fell short of expectations. Would I return? No.

CChong Zheng XuanVery good and nice hotel for such a great price. Bed and room is big and spacious. Breakfast is unexpectedly good and have quite many choices. Staff is very friendly and nice. However, quite a distance to walk from hotel to find restaurants and mall. Overall, an old classic hotel that are well maintained and operated.
