As a frequent business traveler and hotel enthusiast, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations👏 The moment I stepped into the room, it felt bright and spacious. The room size was more generous than many hotels of the same caliber I've stayed in before. There was ample space for luggage, and the work and leisure areas were clearly delineated, completely free from any cramped feeling. The attention to detail in the design was truly impressive. The amenities were thoughtful and comprehensive. The room was equipped with a self-service laundry machine, so I didn't have to worry about accumulating dirty laundry during my week-long business trip – it was incredibly convenient. What surprised me most was the shower experience: the water pressure was strong and steady, and there was plenty of hot water, hitting my body with just the right force. After a long day of travel, a shower completely washed away all my fatigue. This kind of comfort in the details is precisely the standard a five-star hotel should uphold👍 Overall, my stay was impeccable. I will definitely choose this place again for my next business trip here.

Overall a great stay with fantastic views and amazing service! The room size was perfectly fine, and the single bed was plenty spacious for one person. The highlight was definitely the view—you can see the ferry terminal right from the window—and the clever mirror design in the room was a wonderful touch that really elevated the space. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, proactively helping with my luggage and opening car doors every time. However The pillow quality was average—it was quite high and firm rather than soft and plush, and leaning against it for a while made my back feel sweaty. The biggest bug for me, though, was the elevator system; there are no clear indicator lights or sound chimes when the elevator arrives, so I ended up missing it quite a few times. Despite these quirks, the view and service made it a very enjoyable stay. I’d also prefer bottled drinking water over the large filtered water dispenser provided, as washing glasses each time was a bit of a hassle.

Impeccably clean. Outstanding service from Ixxora on front desk. All staff keen to please and professional. They actually seem genuinely happy to be there and to welcome you. As of June 2026, MAXONE Batam offers simply the cleanest and most well maintained rooms in the whole of Kepulauan Riau. No question. The only hotel able to compete with the obsessive cleanliness is their next door neighbour 4 star property adjacent! There are new 5 star hotels on the island where the level of maintenance does not meet the standards set by MAXONE Batam. Highly recommended for leisure travellers who DON'T require pool, gym or breakfast included in the price. What you will get is a sense of luxury and commitment to quality and service excellence. Not recommended for longer stays and business travellers due to poor WiFi stability and shortage of work space / work surfaces in the rooms, that are small and a tight squeeze by Indonesia standards.

The hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.

Every time I travel for work, I stay here. This hotel used to be one of the best on the island, but now there are Marriotts and such. Out of habit, I still prefer to stay here. This time, I chose it for a family trip mainly due to familiarity and good value for money. For around 400-500 RMB, the hotel is quite understated. The Ctrip page stated a 1.5-meter bed, but it was actually 1.8 meters. For two 1.2-meter beds, the website listed them as 1 meter. The breakfast was also good; my child even tried snake fruit.

The villa was exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and offered the perfect sanctuary for a romantic getaway. Having a private pool just steps from our bed allowed us to enjoy quiet, intimate swims at any time of day, completely undisturbed.Inside the villa, the attention to detail was remarkable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and filled with natural light. One of the absolute highlights of the accommodation was the deep, luxurious bathtub. After a long day of exploring and activities, soaking in the tub became our favorite way to unwind and relax together. The housekeeping team deserves immense credit for keeping every corner of our villa pristine throughout our stay, ensuring we never had to worry about a thing.Beyond the beautiful room, our trip was packed with memorable experiences. We are a couple that loves a mix of relaxation and adventure, so we decided to try the ATV riding offered at the resort. It was an absolute blast. Racing through the trails together brought a fantastic rush of adrenaline and added an exciting, adventurous spark to our romantic vacation. The staff guiding the ATV experience were professional, safety-conscious, and made sure we had the best time possible.Of course, no luxury stay is complete without great food, and Montigo Resorts delivered perfectly on that front. Our package included a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, which quickly became something we looked forward to every day. The spread was incredibly generous, featuring a wide variety of both local and international dishes. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the live cooking stations to the fresh pastries and tropical fruits. Starting our mornings together over a delicious, hearty breakfast with beautiful resort views set the perfect tone for the rest of our day.What made this trip truly amazing was how seamlessly the resort blended high-energy fun with peaceful romance. Whether we were splashing around in our private pool, getting mud-soaked on the ATV tracks, or relaxing in our spotless villa, every moment felt special. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel valued from check-in to check-out. It was the perfect escape for me and my fiancé, allowing us to connect, create unforgettable memories, and enjoy a flawless blend of luxury and adventure. We left Montigo Resorts feeling completely refreshed and deeply in love with the place, and we already cannot wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

The staff were the highlight of the stay — consistently polite, humble, and attentive, providing excellent service throughout. Unfortunately, the villa itself was quite run down and appeared to lack proper upkeep and maintenance, which was disappointing given my expectations. There is insufficient power plug for phone / tablet charging. The breakfast spread was decent, with a reasonable variety of options to start the day. Overall, while the service was excellent, the condition of the villa fell short of expectations. Would I return? No.

Good location with many food options nearby. Walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall. Breakfast is superb, delicious local tastes. The room is clean but lacks amenities, especially hand towels and hairdryers.

Location is good near to City Centre Breakfast is good but yet can improve  Staff is friendly and the Hotel manager make his round at the cafe to mingle with guest to make sure the guest is enjoying their stay at the hotel. This is our 2nd trip within 6 months as my daughter requested for a return and also for her craving with the pasta at the Italian restaurant. So we stayed there for 2 nights which is enough for a short getaway. When we reached our room, after unpacking some of our stuff from the luggage, we decided to take short break before heading to the pool and upon resting on the bed, my daughter noticed that the duvet cover was stained with blood. It was very obvious and was surprised that the staff did not noticed it. I informed the front office staff who came to our room due to some issue with the safe and he got it changed while we were out for our swim. I will recommend that the hotel manager look into this due to hygiene issues and such bedding materials that are stained with blood to be disposed. As for the bathroom , stains on the wall and floor are very obvious and it’s about time for the staff to have a chemical wash , no doubt this resort is very old, cleanliness shouldn’t be ignored to maintain it’s reputation and loosing the customers confidence in returning again. Lastly, a big thank you to the waitress at the Italian restaurant who gotten the chef to fire up the pasta I had last year in December that was no longer in the menu , this gesture made our trip a memorable one and fulfilled one of our reasons to visit Turi beach resort .
