"At first, we were impressed by its simple, modern, stylish design and sparkling cleanliness. The room was spacious and had a partial sea view. However, during our 3D2N stay, the swimming pool remained closed due to strong winds. The weather was nice enough for a swim, so it was quite a misfortune. This should have been stated in their advertisements to let customers know that although the hotel has a pool, it is almost never open. The location is opposite the mall, but it’s dangerous for families with strollers or young children to cross the road."

"Very good location. Just stone’s throw from the hotel are the 60s tradition wet market, shops and malls to the new modern big malls. Big bright lobby with seats. Reasonable range and quality of food provided for breakfast buffet . Will be good if they provide the breakfast buffet as an option. Gave only 3 stars for cleanliness because we were given a smoking room even when we have booked a non-smoking room. The room has a weird smell even after they said they have cleaned it. They claimed all rooms were fully booked so can’t change. The hangers are those types that cannot be taken out and they were really built for tall people. Short people have difficulty hanging their clothes and if they are old, is “mission impossible”for them. No stools in the room to ease the challenge. The body soap and shampoo dispensers were difficult to press and only has very miserable drop being dispensed each time. Quality of the shampoo + conditioner (stated on the dispenser) is not good for female hair especially if is long."

"The hotel is new and very clean, and the restaurant is spacious with a great variety of delicious food. Our room was also clean and comfortable. The two single beds in one room were more than enough space for our family of four. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we all really liked them. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Batam, we're very satisfied! 😀 There's even a go-kart track on the rooftop downstairs, and many restaurants, snacks, and massage parlors conveniently located nearby. It's also very suitable for parents with children 👏 Getting a taxi or using Grab is super convenient. It's truly worth recommending. I've already recommended it to many friends since returning to Singapore! 👍🏻"

"Overall, the hotel cleanliness was satisfactory. However, there were some stain marks along the bathroom floor edges, and both the shower gel and hair conditioner were hard to dispense and required quite a bit of force. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices."

"There is a nightclub right beside the hotel to my amazement. Other than this, there's swimming pool, gym and restaurants in the hotel. Rooms are rather old so don't expect it to be in tip top condition, oh and there was small croach crawling out of the toilet loll👀 but interesting outer view nonetheless"

"First time stay in Swiss belhotel harbour bay… Good hotel near by harbour bay ferry terminal..just walk about 10 minutes and the services is really awesome from the guest officer until the restaurant staff really excellent , especially Maya she always check on us about anything that make us comfortable to stay and she make birthday surprise that make us feel special and the restaurant staff Anabil (if not wrong the name 😊)he also very good But mostly all the staff in the hotel very good and friendly and the breakfast also good.. "Even after the December School Holidays, the hotel staff are still slow and not too cooperative to allocate rooms to us early. We got even less favourable rooms at a lower floor despite early booking of the better class room. The winning point of the hotel is it's splendid position in the central part of town near eateries, markets and shops."

"Excellent location. Has direct access to Grand Batam Mall on levels 2, 4 and 5. Breakfast buffet has a good spread and different selections on the two days we stayed there. Restaurant was crowded during breakfast so we sat outside near the pool. Had a power trip in the room during our stay but staff was quick to fix it. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Enjoyed live music on Friday and Saturday night."

AAnonymous UserBooked Superior Queen Room with windows and requested high floor however receptionist gave me level 2 corner room with no window. Went back to the counter and request for change of room both receptionists expression knew they give me the wrong room and though I won’t be fussy about it. Their attitude and service was so bad. There is no mini fridge and hair dryer in the room too. The room is not soundproof can hear people talking at the lobby and loud closing door. But location was good. Very near Nagoya hill mall and other cafes. Affordable price too. Might consider book this hotel again if going back for short trip.

AAnonymous UserI had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the hotel is generally clean and the front desk staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. The room itself was tidy and the bathroom was in good condition. However, we stayed in Room 426 and had a very difficult time sleeping. The bed makes a lot of loud noise every time you turn over, which made it almost impossible to get a good night's rest. If you are looking for quality sleep, I would recommend requesting a different room. The worst part is I forgot to ask for changing another room😇😇😇

AAzy AbdullahSaw this and it's amenities and felt it was the best for me and my 3 kids. Decided to try this out didn't realize it was further than I'm usually used to. We arrived in the evening but was greeted by a cheerful receptionist. Please note there is a 1 mil rupiah deposit. I wasn't prepared for this so I thought to give this a heads up for future booking awareness. The place was alittle hard to spot from the main road ( there was no signage) but it's landmarks are Cubezone and Ria. Note, there is a laundry service across the road please expect 1-2 days. Express service is 1 day The entrance is a dainty little walkway like a secret hideout into a cactus garden that somehow transports you to what looks like Bali crossed with New Mexico feels. A small but clean pool, well maintained. They have dining table and benches outside for a chill out vibe. There's also a BBQ space where you can engage in their BBQ rental (provides charcoal n pit) with a ceiling fan n sink for your convenience and comfort. Area is nice and spacious. Once again I just emphasize, they keep it very clean. The place it seems is 6 container villas surrounding the garden n pool. Which is perfect if you plan to have a big group in. Inside there's a basic kitchenette with a fridge, pot, kettle. There were 2 rooms. Both equipped with bathrooms and tvs. Ac was perfection.you don't have to worry about the heat. It's so nice and cold. Makes you wanna just not get out of bed. The wifi was laggy alittle, didn't bother us as we had local data but it wasn't so nice to be watching a movie and gettin disrupted. TV is equipped with YOUTUBE and Netflix. Pretty awesome to keep the kids occupied. Be warned they have live bands that play music till 1-2 am in the morning. Definately didn't expect that but it didn't bother us so much. Once again, another heads up. Pool is open from 7am to 9pm. Its also a 15-20mins drive to Nagoya. We normally do Grab roughly about 60-70k. The host has their number in the welcome print and responds pretty fast if you need to enquire on anything. Overall, the place is pretty charming and despite it being alittle far from massages n karaoke, I think I found a new go to place. Certainly looking forward to be back.

CCheeWH79Had a wonderful relaxing stay at Montigo. The villas are spacious and well kept. Privte pool is clean with water jet nozzles enhancing swimming experience. The highlight would be the scenic seaview. There are sufficient amenities and activities to enjoy like ATV, jet ski and various water sports. There are 5 restaurants to choose for daily meals. The Nasi Ayam Berrmpah I had for dinner at Warung was excellent. Tiiigo is a nice poolside bar to chill and chat the night away. Breakfast was average. I like the freshly made pratas. The staffs are courteous and helpful. Only downside is there no actual beach here. Only a jetty waterfront.

GGuest UserThe hotel itself was clean and superb, but the staff (well, atleast the ones i interacted with) and/or policy (?) could have been better.  We travelled as a big family. I booked 4 rooms. Upon entering our rooms we noticed we were in the Smoking rooms. I clarified on the front desk that I booked NON-smoking rooms for all. Shella the receptionist told us that on their record we booked Smoking rooms. I was able to contest it with proof from my records, but it was hard to convince her. She even initially told me they would re arrange the rooms because the hotel was ”full”. But when i further insisted on the mechanics of transferring the next day, she finallly said ”ok i will just transfer you now”. So that made me wonder, if she could have fixed it right away that time, why not offer it right away? Nonetheless, when I told my family to go down (which was only 15mins interval) the receptionist privately messaged me in Whatsapp that there would be extra charges because the rooms we left (Smoking rooms) were ”used” according to housekeeping. Good thing i checked each and every room before transferring and I was 100% sure all bedsheets/towels were intact and room was untouched. When I clarified with her what they charging for she claimed housekeeping said we flushed the toilet and used a bit of toilet paper. Like ***. If they put us in the correct room in the 1st place then this would not have happened. I contested and she was bargaining that 1 room will be charged. But  i did not budge. Until she said no more charges will be made. This was a horrible and stubborn exchange. Not to mention the difficulty in language barrier. While the hotel itself was clean and pleasant, this encounter with the unpleasant staff gave it a bad taste.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — especially Agus, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. He always greeted us with a big smile and was super helpful with everything we needed throughout our stay. The breakfast was seriously impressive — there were so many options to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. You can really tell they put effort into making sure guests start the day right. Definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in a while! The location is very strategic, close to everything — shopping, restaurants, and main attractions — which made it so convenient to get around. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, everything about this place was just perfect. Great service, great food, great location. A big thanks to Agus and the team for making our stay such a memorable one. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The resort provides shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, bathrobes, toothbrush, toothpaste, and two bottles of mineral water. Towels are changed daily, and bed sheets are made daily. The hotel itself has two swimming pools with exceptionally clear water. Resort also offers a taxi-calling service, but the cost is relatively higher than Grab. Very recommended

AAnonymous UserLoved our stay here! Such a beautiful resort and beach front. The location is good for a clear beach and ocean view, no ships/ferries nearby. The pools were great too. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only the ventilation was not working in the toilet so everything remained rather wet for longer. Breakfast spread was good, Indonesian and western. They have a restaurant open there for lunch and dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the door men and buggy and shuttle drivers. We wanted to try a restaurant at Montigo and they kindly buggy-ed us to outside the property. Location is only 30 - 40 min from Nagoya city.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a short walking distance from Nagoya Hill Mall, making it ideal for shopping and dining. The room facilities were average but adequate, and the cleanliness was up to standard. Although the absence of a hairdryer in the room was a minor inconvenience, the friendly and professional staff more than made up for it.
