Lhasa Fanlian Hotel ★★★★★

📍 No. 10, Jiangsu East Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"The hotel environment is elegant, and they offer welcome fruits, afternoon tea, and a meditation sound bath. The breakfast quality is good, with a wide variety of satisfactory options. However, the personalized butler service was slow to respond and needs improvement. I wasn't very happy about having to switch rooms during my stay."

"Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Comfortable and spacious. Service: Warm, attentive, and responsive. They even offer hot congee at night, which is a really thoughtful touch for guests coming back late. The butler-style service is excellent and they respond to requests promptly."

Tibethostel Scenic Hotel (Potala Palace)

Tibethostel Scenic Hotel (Potala Palace) ★★★★

📍 No. 31 Duosenge North Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"I found this hotel on a ranking list. All the other hotels were over a thousand, so this one seemed reasonably priced. It was raining when we arrived, and the front desk staff came out to greet us. The security guard even helped us park across the street, which was very thoughtful service. Once we got into the room, I noticed we could only see a tiny bit of Potala Palace. I thought to myself, 'This is it? For 800? The owner must have paid for promotion.' My husband went downstairs because I was a bit hungry and asked the security guard where he could get me some instant noodles. The security guard went and got them himself. When we checked out, they helped us take our luggage to the parking lot across the street. The service truly gets full marks. The coffee at breakfast was amazing, it was freshly made, not from the usual self-service machine. Full marks for that too. Next time I'm in Ngari, I'll definitely stay here again."

Gurkha Boutique Hotel (Jokhang Temple Barkhor Street Branch)
9.4 (948 reviews)

Gurkha Boutique Hotel (Jokhang Temple Barkhor Street Branch) ★★★★

📍 No. 45 Linkuo South Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"Cleanliness: The hygiene was spotless and well-maintained. Environment: The environment was beautiful and unique, as it's a museum hotel with a history of several hundred years."

Lhasa Potala Palace Square Jiangsu Road Atour Hotel
9.6 (687 reviews)

Lhasa Potala Palace Square Jiangsu Road Atour Hotel ★★★★

📍 No. 28 Jiangsu Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"Pros: First time visiting Lhasa, and the room facilities are brand new. The diffused oxygen system is a great touch, and the view is absolutely fantastic – you can gaze at the Potala Palace right from your bed. The parking lot is huge, and you can access Barkhor Street directly from the back door by just swiping your room key. Areas for improvement: The WeChat contact for the butler service, which comes with the room key, was very slow to respond after I added them. It might be handled by the front desk, but if they want to promote a butler service, I’d suggest having dedicated staff for it."

Ruixi Fuoxi Hotel (Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Lhasa)
9.5 (2,341 reviews)

Ruixi Fuoxi Hotel (Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Lhasa) ★★★

📍 No. 26 Jiangsu East Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"Honestly, I wasn't very satisfied, and this is why I checked out. The floor drain in the 410 room didn't drain, and the laundry room across the street was quite noisy. I switched to the 310 room, but the oxygen concentrator didn't work at all and was extremely noisy. The humidifier also didn't work. The mirror light in the sink wasn't working, and the hair dryer stopped working after I tried. The altitude sickness was so severe at around 3 a.m. that I checked out. The service wasn't a big deal, but the hardware needs improvement."

Hampton by Hilton Lhasa Potala Palace Square ★★★★

📍 No. 1, Tianhai International Plaza Commercial Street, No. 6 Tianhai Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

"Absolutely top-notch! From pre-arrival to post-departure, everything was excellent. Before check-in, I received a call reminding me of my stay. Since I was staying for multiple nights, the hotel even upgraded my room. Housekeeping did a great job during my stay, and the breakfast spread was incredibly generous. They also offer 12 hours of complimentary dispersed oxygen from 8 PM to 8 AM."

Chao Ye Rich Oxygen Observation Hotel (Lhasa Potala Palace)

"You can view the view. There are also many free drinks. Of course, you can also pay for other special drinks. The overall appearance of the hotel does not make people feel amazing at a glance, but it is absolutely treasure. The decoration inside has a combination of Tibetan and modern styles. The supporting facilities are particularly good. The whole house is oxygen, humidified, this must be available in Lhasa, the location is excellent, not far from the nearby attractions, there is a parking place at the entrance of the hotel, the front desk lady will also help find a location to park. Our family of three lived very comfortably, especially with children who wanted to live clean and tidy. Originally, there were a lot of luggage supplies for children. I really didn't plan to bring any disposable bedding, so I chose the hotel very carefully. I looked at it and looked at it. It seems that my choice is correct. , Finally, let's say a point! Some rooms lie on the bed and wake up and open the curtains to see the Potala Palace, and there is a night view of the Potala Palace on the top of the hotel building, which is better than the night view seen in the Potala Palace Square."

The surrounding area is packed with ******* restaurants and outdoor shops, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel's overall atmosphere is tranquil and elegant, offering a peaceful escape amidst the city's hustle and bustle. The guest rooms are spacious and airy, featuring wooden floors and minimalist ******* soft furnishings that create a warm and relaxing ambiance. The amenities are comprehensive: all rooms have 24-hour diffused oxygen supply and humidifiers with adjustable oxygen flow. Lhasa Fanlian Hotel ★★★★★
"Traveling as a family of three, the room was very comfortable. The hotel pays attention to details; for example, the slippers and loungewear were unconventional yet incredibly comfortable. There's a laundry room on every floor, which is very convenient. The room's aroma diffusers and essential oils had a subtle, pleasant scent. We stayed for two nights and participated in meditation and incense-making classes, which were fantastic experiences. The complimentary cowboy hat and eco-friendly bag were also pleasant surprises. The staff were polite, discreet, and well-mannered. Overall, the feeling was excellent. Upon returning home, I received the ******* incense I made, and in its curling smoke, I felt a connection to Tibet once more."

Gurkha Boutique Hotel (Jokhang Temple Barkhor Street Branch) ★★★★
"My five-star stay here was fantastic! I arrived in Lhasa a bit late and hungry, and was probably experiencing some altitude sickness. After checking in, my legs felt like jelly. The front desk staff quickly grabbed my luggage – one suitcase in one hand, one bag in the other – and practically ran up the stairs to my room to turn on the oxygen concentrator for me. The hotel also offered a complimentary photoshoot in traditional ******* attire. Their photography studio is conveniently located on the third floor. Dressed in the beautiful ******* clothing, I went up to the rooftop for photos with the Potala Palace as the backdrop – the pictures turned out amazing! As I stayed for four nights, I also received a complimentary Thangka painting or ******* incense experience. The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly easy to get around. Famous attractions like the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street are all within walking distance. The rooftop terrace cafe is perfect for photos and is definitely an Instagram-worthy spot. I had a lot of luggage and needed to send it via courier; the front desk staff were all incredibly nice and helped me with the delivery. Upon check-in, they even presented each of us with a Hada (a traditional ceremonial scarf) and offered blessings. This was a truly satisfying stay. I love Lhasa and will definitely come back again. 24-hour oxygen supply (diffused & nasal cannula): Both diffused and nasal cannula available. ******* clothing experience: Very impressive."

The service was thoughtful and professional, striking a perfect balance. Plus, the bottled tea in the hotel was absolutely delicious – sweet and refreshing, I had to grab two every day! "It should be an old hotel that has been renovated. The location is OK, about ten minutes' drive from the Tibet Museum. The oxygen concentrator is a separate one, which is a bit noisy but acceptable. The service is also quite enthusiastic. The breakfast is a bit sloppy. There is only one old-fashioned washing machine in the laundry room. It is worthy of the price."
