I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're visiting Lhasa. The view of the Potala Palace from the fifth-floor restaurant is unbeatable. I didn't have dinner at the hotel but went upstairs to take photos in the evening. The hotel even offered a complimentary breakfast, and enjoying breakfast while gazing at the Potala Palace was a fantastic experience! Service: A definite plus! They proactively offered buckwheat pillows, it was quiet, and they provided a fruit platter. Facilities: There's a washing machine and dryer available. The room also came with ******* tea leaves, and the Coca-Cola was complimentary and refillable.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with its lobby on the third floor offering a distant view of the Potala Palace. The in-room humidifier and oxygen concentrator were a lifesaver, addressing the dry air and altitude sickness. Breakfast was fantastic and varied every day. A special shout-out to Sonam from concierge! We arrived late and exhausted after a long day, and he helped us with our luggage, promptly turned on the humidifier and oxygen machine. His service was incredibly thoughtful. Five-star rating!

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. There was no breakfast, but upon entering, saffron tea was offered. We got a free upgrade to a one-bedroom suite with two large, comfortable beds. When a room became available in the middle of the night, they also provided us with an oxygen concentrator, which allowed us to sleep with the door closed. The service was excellent, and the price was very reasonable.

This was my third stay at Thangka, and it has noticeably declined compared to my stays in 2018 and 2023. The main reason I chose it again was its proximity to Jokhang Temple. However, this time I experienced significant and continuous noise at night. The next morning, during breakfast, I realized the noise was coming from a machine in the 4th-floor restaurant or the self-service laundry area. I promptly checked out the next day and informed the front desk. The front desk attendant was very kind and assured me that she would report it immediately. I hope Thangka improves.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the Jokhang Temple and Jokhang Temple, just a few minutes' walk away. It is very close to the Potala Palace, and there is a large shopping mall on the way to the Potala Palace. The only regret is that the hotel itself does not have a parking lot, and friends who drive can only find a parking lot nearby. Environment: It has local folk characteristics, there is a laundry room on the top floor, and you can see the Potala Palace😊 Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Facilities: Retro, with a humidifier. Service: Very good, and a small gift was given when checking out🎁

Our late-night flight landed at Lhasa airport, and we didn't get to the hotel until after midnight. The parking lot was very small, and on holidays, if it's full, you have to leave your keys. What was really frustrating was that they didn't give you any receipt or proof when you handed over your keys, nor did they even tag the car key with the room number. I have no idea how they manage that. What if something valuable goes missing from the car? The hotel really needs to think about improving in this area. After finally managing to check in, the room key didn't even work because it hadn't been activated. So, I had to go back downstairs with all my heavy luggage to sort it out. If I wasn't so used to coming to Tibet and didn't suffer from altitude sickness, this experience would have really soured my impression of the place. No matter how many freebies they offered at checkout, it wouldn't make up for that terrible first impression. The breakfast was just so-so. The only 'pro' was its advertised proximity to Barkhor Street, but honestly, it's not great value for money. If my friends weren't staying here and I needed to be close to them, I definitely wouldn't choose this hotel.

The room was clean and tidy, with oxygen inhalers and humidifiers, not too far from the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. Take the bus three stops to Barkhor Street, but the bus in Lhasa is gone at 9:30 in the evening, and it is too late to take a taxi, which is not expensive. The front desk of the hotel is very polite, and the check-in will be welcomed by Hada. It feels better. I hope to have the opportunity to continue to stay next time.

Seriously, folks, you won't believe it! Staying at this so-called 'oxygen-enriched' hotel provided by the travel agency, I was so short of breath and uncomfortable that I barely slept a wink all night. It makes me miss the Shusheng Guizang Manor in Lhasa where we stayed the night before. I spent a long time researching and chose this Guizang Manor for our first night in Lhasa. Since we had taken a high-speed train and a flight and then suddenly arrived at a high-altitude area that day, I was worried that we two 'fragile' youngsters wouldn't cope and it would affect our subsequent itinerary. So, I picked this mid-to-high-priced hotel. Following the idea that 'you get what you pay for,' I thought this place couldn't possibly be bad. And sure enough, after actually staying there, especially after spending a night at another hotel, I realized that choosing the Shusheng Guizang Manor for our first night in Lhasa was the best decision I ever made! I won't even go into how great the hotel environment is; just look at the pictures and feel it for yourselves. We took these because we thought they were beautiful, planning to post them on social media, never intending to write a review. But it's 3 AM, and I'm just so moved, so the pictures are only of the hotel interiors we liked and our breakfast (P.S. Super wide variety of breakfast, both Chinese and Western! 🤩 Key point!!! I want to emphasize and remind friends like us who are visiting Lhasa for the first time: when choosing a hotel, be sure to clearly check or ask what kind of 'oxygen machine' they mean by 'oxygen-enriched.' Because we might not (dare to) wash our hair, but we will definitely need oxygen on the first night! In such high-altitude areas, basically all hotels claim to be oxygen-enriched, but we need to look at the type of oxygen machine shown in the hotel room pictures. Some might just be a portable scattered oxygen machine, which is actually useless, makes noise, and doesn't have an individual oxygen port. Or a slightly better one might have an oxygen port, but only one! Trust me, if you're traveling with two or more people and you book such a hotel because of the price, you'll regret it, friends. Because one oxygen port is simply not enough [crying emoji]. But this Guizang Manor hotel not only has 24-hour diffused oxygen, but everyone also gets a nasal cannula! Each person in the room is provided with an oxygen machine and an oxygen port. Oh my goodness, this literally saved our lives! While saving our lives, the hotel also provided humidifiers, saving our skin. It's super dry here, dry to the point of flaking, so humidifiers are also incredibly important. (P.S. If you have a lot of dampness in your body, disregard what I said – congratulations, you've found your personal paradise, but only for when you first arrive; you'll have to experience the rest for yourself later.) Finally, one more little surprise I discovered after checking in. Exit the hotel, turn left, walk straight for about 100 meters, look up and turn right, and you can directly visit Cuomu Liangfen 🌝 Forgot to mention, the hotel is also close to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. Next time I come to Lhasa, I'm staying here again! I also hope that friends who have traveled to other cities and have recommended hotels can share their experiences and feelings after checking in. For 'fragile' youngsters like us who travel every year, such genuine reviews are truly very helpful 🌹

It's great. I couldn't stand the altitude sickness, so I switched from another hotel to this one. The room here has 24-hour care. It's on the fifth floor, and you can see mountains right outside the window. Breakfast includes salad (but it's really hard to find vegetables!). All the staff, including the front desk, housekeeping, and the noodle chef in the restaurant, are very polite and friendly. There are tangerines at the front desk downstairs; I eat a couple every time I pass by.

Absolutely real experience!! The first time I came to Tibet, I chose this hotel. The room was cleaned very clean, the details were done in place, and the stay was safe and comfortable. The boss is very enthusiastic, sincere, and communicates smoothly if there is a problem. The most surprising thing is that you can also ride the hotel's electric car for free, riding a small eDonkey in the city, travel is convenient and comfortable, greatly improving the travel experience. The body was somewhat tired when I first arrived at the plateau. I could rest peacefully when I returned to the hotel. The overall atmosphere was very comfortable. Whether it is the hardware environment or the humanistic service, it is not the kind of assembly line accommodation, and I can feel the store's real intentions. Very recommended to travel to Lhasa friends to stay, next time you will give priority to here, five-star praise!

FANTASTIC! Located a little off the beaten track on a side street, this hotel is like stepping into another world, like something out of a fairy tale. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Old meets new, as there's an elevator and the room doors can be opened with modern keycards. Another great feature is the heated mattress topper for when it gets really cold. The rooftop terrace offers a fantastic view of the Potala Palace and the surrounding area. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! A simple breakfast, including coffee, is also available. All in all: 100% value for money! Keep up the good work and all the best!

This hotel has a strong ******* style, and the owner was really great, taking good care of us visitors from inland China. They helped us with our luggage and arranged for us to stay on the third floor, which definitely made the altitude sickness worse when climbing the stairs! We visited in August, and the blankets were super thick, so I didn't get a good night's sleep either night. Also, I personally think this type of Tibetan-style hotel is nice for a two-day experience, but not suitable for a long-term stay!

This is a great guesthouse. The rooms are clean and simple, the owner is warm and chatty, the decor has a ******* style, the price is affordable, and the location is excellent. You're right by Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street, with plenty of dining and shopping options. The only minor inconvenience is that cars can't pull up directly to the guesthouse entrance.

The hotel is accurately positioned, there is a parking space at the door to park, and there is a little brother to direct! Help with luggage! If you park full, there is also a hotel parking lot opposite, which is convenient for self-driving! The room is clean and the environment is quiet! Adequate hot water!

It is a very clean and comfortable small courtyard. I can lie on the bed in the single room on the second floor and take a nap while looking at the blue sky and white clouds in the afternoon. In the evening, I can go out for a bite to eat and a walk. At night, I return to the inn to chat with some friends from all over the world and have a drink quietly. I come out just to relax for a while and then return to real life to continue working hard.
