"The room offered complimentary diffused oxygen, and I could even use a nasal oxygen tube, which was a lifesaver during my first two days in Lhasa when altitude sickness was at its worst. The hotel's also conveniently located near the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Plus, the breakfast spread was really diverse."

Spring Festival Activity Preview As seasons change, warmth remains. This Horse Year Spring Festival, our Xizang and Han staff will join guests on New Year's Eve to make dumplings and *Guthuk* (Xizang's noodle soup), celebrating the arrival of the new year and sharing the warmth of reunion. Lobumtsang · Sanctuary Nestled in Xingfu Community, Chengguan District, Lhasa, Lobumtsang offers expansive views of the nearby Potala Palace. The name "Lobumtsang" originates from the owner’s Mi-nyag family heritage, meaning "Home Sheltered by the Divine Dragon." Legend has it that two centuries ago, this land was regarded as a dwelling of sacred dragons, where previous settlers met with misfortune. Yet, the owner’s grandfather settled here with his family, living in peace and prosperity—a tale cherished by locals ever since. Our boutique homestay blends authentic Xizang's style with Nepalese influences, equipped with high-quality amenities and heartfelt service. Each room is designed for comfort in all seasons, featuring a television, refrigerator, in-room safe, oxygen concentrator, humidifier, and premium brand bathroom essentials. Every piece of furniture is hand-painted by local artists with traditional Xizang's motifs, each carrying profound meanings and showcasing distinctive Xizang's artistry. Our team includes Xizang, Han, and Nepalese members, offering a diverse menu of Xizang, Chinese, Nepalese, and Western cuisine. The viewing restaurant not only overlooks the Potala Palace but also serves as a window into local daily life. At Lobumtsang, we welcome you with the warmth of home and the sincerity of Xizang, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay in Lhasa.

"Our family of three was absolutely delighted with the triple room! It was incredibly spacious – we could spread out all three large suitcases and still have plenty of room to move around. The best part was the fantastic natural light; the big windows made the whole room bright and airy, instantly lifting our spirits. The humidifier in the room was a lifesaver at this altitude; we slept soundly without any dryness. The electric kettle heated water quickly, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of six complimentary bottles of mineral water! The mini-fridge was also very convenient for keeping our fruits and yogurt chilled. What truly amazed us was the hand-painted ceiling – auspicious Eight Buddhist Symbols, personally painted by a ******* artist. The colors were vibrant and brought a sense of good fortune. Waking up every day to such beautiful art made us feel incredibly blessed. These details really show how much care the hotel puts into its guests, balancing modern comfort with an authentic ******* cultural atmosphere. We had such a comfortable stay and highly recommend it to families traveling together!"

"The service was absolutely fantastic, truly top-notch. The breakfast spread was extensive with a great variety of dishes, and everything tasted delicious. The hotel itself is brand new, with modern and smart facilities, and it was impeccably clean. We received a welcome drink, a souvenir, and even some complimentary coffee. The rooftop view is simply amazing, absolutely spectacular! Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options, all very convenient. We could easily walk to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. The only minor downside is that the parking garage is a bit small, and you need to check in and get your room card before they'll open the gate for the parking lot. They do offer valet parking though, so you just leave your keys with the attendant. When we checked out, we saw that the attendant had parked our car in a really spacious spot. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! We'll definitely be back!"

"This hotel is absolutely amazing! I absolutely love the Tibetan-inspired zen decor throughout. Honestly, I found myself missing Vanlann (the hotel name) when I stayed at other hotels afterwards; I felt completely spoiled by it. The sweet tea before bed, the daily clean clothes, and the exceptionally good quality welcome fruit – it all added up to a super thoughtful and comfortable experience. Highly recommend!"

"This was my first time in Lhasa with three elderly family members. The hotel's facilities were quite complete, and although it's a bit older, it's well-maintained. The service was warm and friendly, and we were very satisfied with our stay. When we arrived, the staff at the entrance proactively helped us with our luggage. Yesterday, one of the seniors experienced some altitude sickness, and when we returned to the hotel, the front desk attendant kindly provided an oxygen tank, which effectively alleviated their symptoms. I was so busy looking after them that I forgot to take any pictures of the hotel."

"When I first arrived in Lhasa, I was completely moved by this highland holy city. The air is clear, the sun is full, the Potala Palace is magnificent, the Jokhang Temple is full of incense, the turn is full of piety and tranquility, the slow-paced life makes people relieve fatigue, it is a place worth going to for a lifetime, just moved in a slightly high reaction, the body is particularly uncomfortable, originally very worried, Fortunately, the customer service manager Qingshuang was particularly intimate. He sent fruit and warm-hearted supper in time. It was meticulous and thoughtful. It instantly relieved a lot of discomfort and anxiety. The hotel service was warm and intimate. Other staff were also sincere and friendly. I felt a sense of security in this strange plateau. The accommodation experience also exceeded expectations"

"Facilities: The room type was very spacious, I booked a two-bed room this time. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the facilities were a bit old, and there was some water leakage. Room service was prompt. Minibar: Good. 24-hour oxygen supply service: This was very important, especially the 24-hour medical room. Due to severe altitude sickness for the first few days, I spent most of my time in the medical room. Only after taking medication and receiving oxygen could I manage to walk around a bit outside. Cleanliness: Acceptable, and the turndown service was also good. Environment: This is arguably the best in Lhasa. After staying one day elsewhere, I spent the remaining days at The St. Regis. During my stay in Lhasa, I mostly dined and engaged in activities at the hotel. The room layout was very well-proportioned, and maintenance was decent. Afternoon tea was just okay, but the Western restaurant had excellent food, and the sweet tea was the best. Service: The butler, Tina, was excellent. Her service was attentive throughout, and I was very satisfied. Next time I visit Lhasa, I definitely won't choose any other hotel. She even proactively checked in on my well-being."
