Had a fantastic stay in Lhasa! The room was very comfortable, and I slept incredibly well despite the high altitude. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend this hotel!

During my stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in Lhasa, I met a true guardian who brightened my trip with his sincerity and professionalism – our butler, Robert Xiang Hongwei. With every proactive greeting and meticulous action, he transformed the phrase “feeling at home” into a heartwarming reality. The best service is when guests forget they are being “served.” With Robert, I witnessed the pinnacle of hotel service: not making guests feel deliberately “cared for,” but rather, through natural kindness, having every need met silently. His every initiative, every “Okay, I’ll arrange it for you right away,” conveyed the same message: Here, you don't have to be a “guest,” just be “yourself.” The Shangri-La Hotel shines because of employees like him, and the industry is warmed by professionals like him. May this subtle light illuminate the journeys of more people, making every arrival a reunion worth looking forward to. I will definitely choose Shangri-La Hotel again for my next stay!

The room facilities were quite good, but the service attitude was very poor, which significantly lowered the overall experience. Pros: The room facilities were relatively new, with a desk and office chair, a small sofa, and convenient amenities like a microwave. Aside from a tear in the carpet, the cleanliness was acceptable. The breakfast offered a good variety, though it was quite crowded. Cons: While one can't expect too much service at this price point and positioning, it's arguably the worst service in its class! Even budget-friendly chains like HUAZHU (Huazhu Group) feel lightyears ahead. Several points of dissatisfaction: Upon check-in, there was a queue, and three people behind the counter seemed to be struggling with something. I waited behind them for a while, and no one acknowledged a new guest had arrived or came over to help. After a long time, I saw someone move to the side, so I approached. Still, no one asked if I was checking in. I walked over and asked if the previous guest was finished, and only then, after being given a look that said 'What are you doing here?', did they start processing my check-in. After taking my ID, they immediately moved to a separate counter (a clearly distinct spot) without telling me to move there. I had to awkwardly move myself. They only provided basic breakfast times for my check-in information and didn't mention anything about the complimentary drinks included in my reservation, which I didn't need anyway so I didn't ask later. The window of my room faced a fence with cigarette butts and other trash scattered below. It was arguably worse than the interior of the room, but it was a basic room type, and a view wasn't a selling point, so I didn't pay too much attention. During check-out, after returning the room card, it took a moment to confirm. No one said 'please wait' or anything, so I just awkwardly stood there. As I left, I said 'thank you,' and was ignored without even a glance. It's clear that the staff here has almost no service awareness. Perhaps this hotel is very confident in its hardware and brand power and isn't too concerned about customer feelings and feedback. However, as a traveler, especially as the last hotel on a self-driving trip along the Sichuan-Tibet highway, it was very disappointing. Almost every other hotel on this trip, expensive or cheap, despite some flaws, had a far better service attitude than this one.

Hampton by Hilton is the first choice for travel to the plateau, and the stay experience is very satisfactory. The room hygiene is in place, the room is clean and tidy, the linen is white and flat, the fabric is soft and skin-friendly, and it is very comfortable to lie down. The oxygen supply in the room is very good, soothing the plateau discomfort. Walk for about ten minutes to the Potala Palace Square. The front desk and service staff are friendly and polite, the procedures are efficient, the communication is smooth, the details are very careful, and the travel is the first choice.

It is convenient to travel around the hotel, and it is convenient to go to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Tibet Museum. The room is clean and sanitary, and it is considered to be a relatively large area in Atour. It is very good. The room facilities are complete and new, and the Xiaodu speaker is also very smart. The breakfast is delicious, with freshly made buns, steamed buns and bread. Atour's health breakfast is also unique and delicious. The front desk service is good. When checking out, we were given warm mineral water. The warm temperature is very suitable for the temperature in Lhasa these days. This is called warm water in Atour. Warm water is very considerate. The hotel is not far from the Potala Palace. The parking lot is large, there's a night market nearby, and a large supermarket is right next door, which is very convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, check-in was quick, and they even proactively upgraded my room. They patiently answered all my questions about local sightseeing. The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corner of the bathroom was spotless. The room wasn't facing the street, so it was very quiet. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet! Highly recommended!

After a year, I stepped into Lhasa again. The environment of the hotel was elegant and comfortable. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was attracted by its luxurious and atmospheric decoration style. The hotel's service is really impeccable! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff. The front desk lady checked in quickly and efficiently, and Miss Cuoer also introduced me to the surrounding attractions and food intimately. The room service staff is also very attentive, cleaning the room in time every day, so that the room is always clean and tidy, which makes people feel warm. The layout of the room is warm and elegant, and the sound insulation effect is very good, so that I can rest in a quiet environment. The surrounding environment is also very good, the transportation is convenient, there are many food and attractions around, very suitable for travel and vacation. The TV design is unique, the reading desk design is novel, the tea set on the tea table is very tasteful, the owner is interested! The bathroom is spacious, bright and comfortable, and the dry and wet areas are designed to be separated easily. There are also drying racks. Breakfast is 7.30-9:30, self-service, eggs, preserved egg porridge, miscellaneous grains, cold dishes, enough to eat. Go early~ The yard is square and convenient for parking. Love the multi-functional room on the third floor, suitable for chatting, gatherings, drinking tea. Love the green plants and the meaty people in the sun! The laundry room and dryer are also on the third floor. After washing the clothes, they are dried directly on the balcony on the third floor. They will be dried soon! Recommend you to come, the price is very good! Located near the Tibet Museum, more than 2 kilometers away from Barkhor Street, the surrounding is not so messy and noisy. It is a quiet and suitable place to live! Figure 1~5 is the triple room interior. Figure 6-15 is the hotel's courtyard, front desk, restaurant, third floor.

It is a very good hotel in Lhasa, but the daily service is really not good. The order is for three days, and the room fee is prepaid, but the room card is only given for one day. I was very tired after playing outside in the evening of the first day, and I had to go to the service desk again to handle the procedures. What a hell! The faucet in the room has no bubbler, and the water flow is divergent when used; the shower head is full of scale, and many holes cannot discharge water, and the water flow rate of the water outlet holes is very fast, which is very uncomfortable on the body. In fact, just scrape the small silicone outlet, and you can only do it yourself. It is called a VIP building, but we are obviously not VIPs. Maybe there is a reception task. There is a parking space next to the entrance of the VIP building, but it is not allowed to park, and it would rather be empty all day. Alas, it is obvious that we asked for trouble when booking the room. The decoration of the whole building is still very luxurious. The room is quite large, the hygiene is still OK, and the oxygen supply service is real. The breakfast is quite good, with rich varieties, many local characteristics, and the dining service is quite good.
