As a solo traveller coming to Singapore for 1 night transit, I was honestly quite happy with my stay here. At first I was a bit hesitant about booking a capsule with a shared bath, but the shared bathroom area was very clean and well maintained. The capsule was cozy and comfortable for a short stay, location was super convenient opposite Bugis MRT with a lot of food options. Felt safe and comfortable throughout the stay 👌

Great location and rooms and beds really comfortable. I had the room with a bathroom…shower is really tiny but manageable. Room was really great. Bed comfortable and TV that connected to YouTube. Only downside I could hear whenever someone used the bathroom in the room next to me - the running water from toilet. Otherwise for a short stay would definitely recommend due to location and easy of check in and check out.

We stayed at BEAT 1932 Hostel in Singapore and booked their private room for 6 adults. The place is impressively new, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff were kind, helpful, and easy to reach. It’s also near the MRT and just a short walk to a hawker center, which made meals and commuting very convenient. The hostel sits right in front of a temple, adding to the charm of the location. GGuest UserThe Shangri-La Singapore boasts an excellent location, offering a serene and elegant environment with beautiful garden views. The check-in experience is relaxing and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, with a full range of toiletries provided. The overall service is attentive and thoughtful, with warm and polite staff. The breakfast selection is extensive. The only minor drawback is that some facilities are slightly older, but they are well-maintained and clean, which doesn't affect the stay at all. Overall, it offers good value for money, making it a great choice for a trip.
Aair_akardI stayed at Lyf Funan Singapore for 2nights as a business traveller.
The design is fun and colorful, not your typical hotel vibe. The room is compact but works fine, with a private bathroom, and the sink is outside the bathroom which is actually quite convenient. I stayed in a standard room—it’s okay for couples or friends.
The hotel has more of a co-living feel. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, and even a small workout corner, so it feels more social than a normal hotel.
Breakfast was a bitsimple with limited options, just a few simple dishes and some bakery items. I’d recommend skipping it and eating outside instead.
Location is definitely a big plus. It’s inside Funan Mall, super convenient for shopping and food. You can also easily walk to places like Fort Canning Park (right across the road), Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park.
Overall, nice stay if you like modern design and a lively vibe—just don’t expect too much from the breakfast.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, with a shopping mall right downstairs and Lau Pa Sat nearby, making dining very convenient. The decor is modern, and there's even a small kitchenette. The best part is being able to go up to the 51st floor for amazing views of Singapore.
--chenchen-The hotel is quite new overall, and the location is super convenient. I only stayed one night for a city layover, so here are the pros and cons:
**Pros:**
1. It's very easy to get to all the attractions, many are within walking distance. It's also close to the City Hall MRT station, and popular internet-famous restaurants and coconut milk tea shops are nearby.
2. We checked in with our child, and the staff immediately gave us a little snack bag for the kids. While it's not a family-themed hotel, it made a better impression than some dedicated family hotels.
**Minor Cons (not dealbreakers):**
1. We were given an adjoining room, which made me feel quite insecure. I actually moved the coffee table to block the door before I could sleep.
2. The toilet paper in the bathroom was very sparse! And the toilet flush button was incredibly, incredibly hard to press – you needed a lot of force. We initially thought it was broken.
3. We'd just spent three nights in Sentosa where the minibar was fully stocked and complimentary every day. In contrast, this hotel, at a similar price point, had an empty fridge, which was a bit of a shock. It really hit home that 'it's hard to go from luxury to frugality.'
4. Perhaps it's because efficiency is so high back home, but checking into hotels in Singapore feels incredibly slow. My child kept asking when we would finally be done.
**Overall:** I'd still recommend this hotel for business travelers and tourists.
GGuest UserSurprised about hotel room upgrade from queen size bed to king size bed! Room was spacious enough to put several large luggages together on the floor. The amazing location juz opposite Takashimaya and Paragon and mosque@Orchard Road. The hotel staffs were all very friendly and approachable. Asian buffet style breakfast@Eden restaurant - normally can only find plain porridge but here surprisingly we found delicious fish porridge with no fishy smell! Thank you, Pullman hotel for excellent services.
SSheilaOSheilaRelaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.
Really good rooms with luscious pillows. The tub was heavenly. The pool was packed with kids but enjoyed my time there to sleep, think and do almost nothing. 3 nights.
My only 2 gripes : no smoking room that's enjoyable to be in, and that their coffee is average.
I'll definitely give this a 5 star rating for peace, comfort and joy at a decent price.
BBB DaddyRoom is very small but rather well furnished with spaces used very smartly. Loved the concept and the service. There's a lively bar / restaurant and a small laundry room on the first floor near the lobby which had a line for you to use. Don't depend too much on getting your laundry done except during the late night. Location is within a pub / bar district with numerous eateries.
SSanmingzhijiAfter a few days exploring Singapore, I'm grateful for this accommodation. The surrounding area is decent, and the hostel's air conditioning kept it nice and cool. Plus, there's a balcony where you can stargaze at night...
Ssusanti juwariWe had a fantastic stay at Hotel Boss and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore.
The biggest highlight is definitely the location. Situated near Lavender MRT, it’s incredibly convenient to get around the city. Popular areas like Bugis and Kampong Glam are within walking distance, with plenty of food options, cafes, and local attractions nearby.
The room, while compact (as expected in Singapore), was clean, modern, and very well-maintained. Housekeeping did a great job daily, ensuring everything was tidy and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the overall environment felt safe and welcoming.
We were also impressed by the facilities. The swimming pool is spacious and a great place to relax after a long day, and the hotel offers useful amenities like a gym and on-site dining options, making the stay even more convenient.
What stood out most was the value for money. For such a prime location in Singapore, Hotel Boss offers a very reasonable rate without compromising on cleanliness and comfort.
We feel very happy and satisfied with the service staff at Hotel Boss's frontdesk namely Mr Ariff. He was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. His professionalism and warm hospitality truly made our stay more enjoyable and comfortable. We appreciate his effort in making guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. We highly recommend all guests, hoteliers, tourists, travellers or customers to hotel boss because Mr Ariff will take good care of you guys!
Overall, if you’re looking for a well-located, clean, and affordable hotel in Singapore, Hotel Boss is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again and by the way this was our 2nd stay.
AAnonymous UserUgh, I forgot to take photos, so I'll use some random ones instead. First off, I chose this place because it's super close to Universal Studios, and I figured a chain hotel wouldn't be too bad. But the price wasn't exactly cheap – I paid over 480 for a queen room. I know hotels in Singapore are pricey, so this was within my expected budget; I'd already come to terms with the cost. The front desk staff were all really nice. However, my heart sank when I opened the door. The room was tiny, and they don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, or cups, citing environmental reasons... though if you ask the front desk for a toothbrush, they'll give you one. For cleanliness, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 – not terrible, but not outstanding either. It's a small room but has all the essentials, though you definitely can't fit two suitcases in there; it felt really cramped. On the bright side, the soundproofing seemed pretty good. I'm not sure if there were no other guests or if everyone was just incredibly considerate, but I didn't hear any noise. Plus, I was so exhausted from sleeping at the airport the night before that I slept like a log. It was the best night's sleep of my entire trip, and I was genuinely shocked that I slept best in the smallest room... Oh, and the shower gel and shampoo are all-in-one, so if you're particular, you might want to bring your own.
