Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong

I chose this hotel because I was visiting NTU. The room was very clean, and housekeeping was prompt. There's a free shuttle to Sentosa, and the breakfast was decent. I needed a late checkout due to some plans, and the front desk extended it for an hour until 12 PM.

It was a bit tricky to find. From Jurong East MRT (East-West Line), take Exit B and look for the Jurong East Bus Interchange (make sure it's the 'East' one, there's another Jurong something bus interchange). Walk across the overhead bridge next to Jurong Library (there's also a hawker center and FairPrice supermarket nearby). Refer to the map provided by the hotel. You can take the hotel shuttle to Sentosa, but expect some traffic if you go during peak hours. The room was a bit small; with two double beds (1.2m each), there wasn't much space left. There's a water dispenser on every floor, a swimming pool, and a vending machine where instant noodles are 3 SGD, which is reasonable. Check-out is after 11 am, and eating at the hotel restaurant was decent. It's a 10-minute walk to the MRT, with a mall above the station and a supermarket downstairs, offering many dining options. Jurong East, JEM, and Westgate are all connected, and you can even walk from Westgate via a link bridge all the way to IMM outlet mall.

The room was clean and tidy, and the design was quite practical. I especially appreciated the luggage rack, which was a brilliant idea! The room itself wasn't huge, about 20 square meters, so having a place for the suitcase off the floor was essential; otherwise, it would have been hard to move around. Given that Singapore is such an expensive city, this hotel would probably be a 300 RMB-equivalent hotel back in China. They don't provide bottled water, but there's a water dispenser on the same floor where you can refill your own. The biggest drawback was the curtains – they didn't close properly, letting in a sliver of light at night, and then a lot of light from 5 or 6 AM, so you might need an eye mask. Also, the soundproofing wasn't great; I could hear conversations from the next room, and doors closing were even clearer. On the positive side, the transportation is very convenient, about an 11-minute walk to Jurong East MRT station, which also has JEM mall with a large supermarket and plenty of food options. Overall, it was still a good stay!

The room was great! They even provided instant noodles and drinks. Breakfast was also quite good. I really wanted to stay another night but it was fully booked. The front desk lady with glasses even upgraded my room.

The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped and clean. The breakfast selection is varied and the service is good.

The hotel is located in the west, about a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station, though the route is a bit winding. The room size was decent, and the hotel's exterior grounds were quite spacious. There's a free shuttle bus service to the city center. Complimentary instant noodles and beverages are provided in the room, but no bottled water; however, there's an electric kettle for boiling water.
