Pros: Helpful and accommodating staff.
Cons: Old facilities, low value for money, exterior and corridor noise, plumbing odors.
Review:
We had a very mixed experience at this hotel and ultimately felt the value for money was quite low given the condition of the property.
We were initially assigned a room on the 2nd floor, and it had several issues. The view faced the parking lot, which meant we were woken up at 7:00 AM ish by the noise of trucks. The room's soundproofing was also poor—whenever people spoke in the corridor, we could hear their conversations. To top it off, the facilities and pipes are very old, causing a persistent, highly unpleasant sewage smell to come from the toilet.
However, the saving grace of this hotel is its staff. After we raised our concerns about the noise, the condition, and the odor, the front desk team was very nice and understanding. They managed to transfer us to a room on a higher floor, facing street view, which was a significant improvement and much quieter.
While we greatly appreciated the excellent customer service and the quick room change, the overall building is in desperate need of an upgrade and better insulation. If you choose to stay here, I highly recommend requesting a room on a higher floor away from the parking lot right at check-in.
