"Found a super healing hostel on the Bund in Shanghai! ✨ Hi House's relaxed vibe really hit the spot. The open-plan communal areas make it easy for solo travelers to meet like-minded people, feeling free and warm. Every detail shows thoughtfulness, from the clean, new bathrooms and huge lockers to the adjustable warm bedside lamps. There's even a co-working space and a gym, so you can balance life and your passions while traveling. Even more delightful were YoYo, Alice, and Melody, the staff members. They were gentle yet professional, adding so much warmth to my trip with their excellent service. The location is also impeccable, within walking distance to Nanjing Road, and the stunning Bund night view is practically at your fingertips. My trip to Shanghai was made even more perfect thanks to Hi House. See you again next time! ~"

"Facilities: The room has been renovated and feels quite new, but the amenities are clearly lacking, and the room decor is very basic. Environment: The river view room offers a great view, and the hotel lobby is clean and spacious. Service: The butler service was excellent; they contacted me in advance to confirm my check-in time. However, upon arrival at the hotel, the front desk informed me that the room wasn't ready and wouldn't be until 5 PM. This was very inconvenient and unpleasant, especially since it was raining and I had a child with me. I have to give a negative review to the breakfast restaurant. The staff there were very unprofessional; they cleared our table even though we still had our dining card on it. It was quite frustrating."

"Overall, my stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around, and there are plenty of amenities nearby. It's perfect whether you're here for business or leisure. I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk upgraded my room. The room amenities exceeded my expectations, featuring a bathtub, kitchen, and washing machine. It's fully equipped and very practical – absolutely ideal for a longer stay, as it meets all your living needs. The cleanliness was top-notch; the entire space was spotless and free of any odors, even the corners were meticulously cleaned, which made for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. The indoor environment was quiet and elegant, with a simple yet comfortable decor. The room was spacious and bright, with good natural light and ventilation, creating a wonderful living atmosphere. The front desk and staff were warm and attentive, very friendly, and quick to respond to any requests. When I ordered takeout, I didn't even have to go downstairs to pick it up, as a robot delivered it right to my room. Check-in and check-out were efficient and fast, making for an excellent experience overall. Considering the location, facilities, cleanliness, and service, it still offers great value for money and is definitely worth it. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend it to anyone in need, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit!"

"This hotel is truly fantastic! First off, the location is superb, right in the heart of Putuo District with tons of great food options nearby. Secondly, the hotel's cleanliness is top-notch; the bedding and everything else felt very clean. All the hotel facilities gave me a 'just right' feeling. It was a very comfortable stay, perfect for a solo traveler. The hotel's service was also excellent; the delivery robot for takeaways was incredibly efficient."

"The location is unbeatable, right downstairs is the pedestrian street. A big thanks to Nina at the front desk who upgraded me to a high-floor room with a fantastic view. The breakfast was a rich and delicious mix of Western and Chinese options. The staff were all warm, polite, and provided excellent service. I even met a lovely staff member in the elevator who gave me a small souvenir. All in all, a really great experience that I'd be happy to recommend to friends."

"The hotel service is excellent, making it my top choice every time I visit Shanghai. Its location is superb, offering great convenience for getting around. You can directly access IFC Mall for shopping and dining right from downstairs! Iconic Shanghai landmarks are just outside the hotel. This time, the front desk thoughtfully gave me a room with a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, which was absolutely amazing and really brightened up my trip! Super thumbs up! 👍👍👍"

"Service: The best hotel I've ever stayed at! No exaggeration. I've tried many hotels in Shanghai, including Shangri-La (Jingan, Pudong), Ritz-Carlton (Pudong), Peninsula (Bund), Shanghai Tower J-Hotel, Grand Hyatt, Kempinski, Disney hotels, Westin, Kerry Centre, Sheraton... Apart from Banyan Tree, which I'm not interested in, and St. Regis, which I tried in Sanya, and Waldorf Astoria, which I haven't had the chance to visit yet, I've checked out almost all the hotels my child and I were interested in. Honestly, W truly impressed me. From purchasing the package and booking the dates in advance to phone communication, the staff consistently displayed genuine warmth and professionalism. They meticulously noted all my requests, ensuring accurate internal communication. On the day of arrival, I wasn't feeling well and my tone wasn't great. Yet, the front desk staff listened attentively and with incredible patience throughout. This level of internal training deeply impressed me. There was none of the arrogance I've experienced at the Peninsula or Ritz-Carlton; instead, it was full of understanding for the customer. I actually want to come back and stay again soon! 😂 I even joked with the hotel staff, asking if this excellent service was because I booked a suite. 😝 But then again, I had suites at Shanghai Tower J-Hotel and Ritz-Carlton too, and the service there was... well, let's just say it was different. At the W, it's not just the front desk and lobby; even the staff helping with the elevator and the cleaning crew in the basement are incredibly cheerful and sincere. I love this fresh, uplifting energy and team. Facilities: The facilities are clean and hygienic, and every room has a bidet toilet seat, which is a nice touch! Environment: Very clean, and most importantly, the view across the river is absolutely stunning. Hygene: The hygiene is excellent, very clean. And their response time is super fast. If I had to pick one downside, it would be that the配套 facilities at Magnolia Plaza are a bit too low-end, haha. They really don't match the W's standard."

However, upon entering, the room was actually quite spacious and the layout was very well-designed. The breakfast was plentiful, and the location was convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were polite, and the dedicated butler service was excellent. I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area."
