Mövenpick by Accor Shanghai People's Square

A very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few steps from People's Square Metro Station, making it easy to get anywhere. The hotel service was also excellent; food deliveries came straight to the room and were super fast – big thumbs up! The room was very clean, and they even had welcome fruits and a small cake. The toiletries were from Jurlique, which was a nice touch. Plus, at breakfast, a foreign gentleman chatted with my child, which was very nice. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is excellent; I stayed for two nights. Within walking distance, you can find many treasure museums like the Shanghai History Museum, Shanghai Museum, and Sports Museum. People's Park and the metro station are just across the street. The semi-buffet breakfast was delicious, and the room facilities were new with comfortable bedding. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Traveling with my daughter this summer, I initially booked this hotel for its excellent location. After checking in, I found the service and concept to be outstanding, so I promptly extended our stay for another two nights. The staff were polite and enthusiastic, always going the extra mile to accommodate our requests. Although the breakfast selection wasn't vast, it was a semi-buffet with both Chinese and Western options, perfectly satisfying our needs. Our room had a lovely welcome fruit platter, generous and high-quality, and the mini-bar even featured local Shanghai sodas and beers, showing great attention to detail. I'll definitely choose Movenpick Hotel Shanghai again on my next visit.

This is a very new hotel, and you feel a warm welcome as soon as you step into the lobby. The two beds are huge, and there's a laundry room available. The location is also excellent; it's so convenient with the New World Department Store right next door for dining, drinking, and shopping.

Fantastic location! You can take Metro Line 2 directly from Hongqiao to People's Square, and the hotel is right across the street. The facilities are brand new and very clean. They even provide a complimentary mini-bar. I booked a basic room this time, which had no windows, making it perfect for business travelers who need a quiet night's sleep. Highly recommended! It's definitely worth staying again, and it's super convenient for getting to all the major shopping districts.

The Movenpick Hotel Shanghai on People's Square is quite new, so everything feels fresh and clean. The front desk staff were gentle and friendly, and the bedding was comfortable and felt high-quality. Among the luxury hotels around People's Square, Accor offers the best value for money. It's conveniently located with excellent facilities. The rooms are spotless and the service is attentive. Each room comes with a capsule coffee machine, and the toiletries are from Jurlique. The welcome desserts and fruits were also a nice touch 👍. Breakfast is a semi-buffet, mainly Western, and while the selection isn't huge, it's very refined. You can order fresh omelets, scallion oil noodles, and mini wontons. Our stay coincided with the World Cup semifinals, and the hotel even provided free beer, so we could sit in the cafe and watch game replays with a great atmosphere. I highly recommend the hotel's ice cream! The front desk staff were very nice and thorough, kudos to them! 👍
