We had such an amazing experience at this Disney hotel, and I truly feel like this property deserves every bit of praise. My husband, our 6 kids, and I traveled all the way from Orlando, Florida in America, and after such a big trip, staying somewhere this welcoming, clean, and well-run meant so much to us. From the moment we arrived, the staff made such a strong impression on me. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely helpful. It did not feel fake or forced at all, it felt like they truly cared about making sure our stay was comfortable and special.
One thing I really want to mention is that even with us traveling from America, the language barrier was honestly not hard at all when dealing with the staff. That was something I truly appreciated. Everyone was so kind, so patient, and so willing to help that communication never felt stressful. They made everything feel easy and comfortable, and that meant a lot, especially traveling with a big family and small children. No matter what we needed, they did their best to help us understand and made sure we felt taken care of. That level of effort, patience, and kindness goes a very long way, and they really made us feel welcome.
The staff went above and beyond in so many little ways, and those things really added up. Any time I had a question, needed help, or wasn’t sure about something, someone was there with a smile, ready to help without hesitation. That kind of service stands out, especially when you are traveling with family, and it made such a huge difference for us. They were not just “nice” .They were the kind of staff that makes you stop and think, wow, these people really care. You can feel when people are just doing a job, and you can also feel when people are truly making an effort to give guests a great experience. This staff absolutely did that.
Now let me talk about the cleanliness, because honestly this is one of the cleanest hotel properties and rooms I have ever seen in my life. I do not say that lightly. The moment we walked in, everything looked absolutely spotless. Not just tidy, not just “good enough,” but truly immaculate. The room looked fresh, polished, and cared for in a way that is hard to explain unless you see it for yourself. Every surface looked pristine. The floors were clean, the bathroom was shining, the bedding felt fresh and perfectly maintained, and the entire room gave that rare feeling of being deeply, properly cleaned.
There was not that uneasy hotel feeling some places have where you start wondering what has or has not really been cleaned. This place felt the complete opposite. It felt sanitized, refreshed, and cared for to the highest standard. The room was so clean that it immediately made us feel comfortable enough to fully relax. When you are staying with children, cleanliness matters even more, and this hotel absolutely exceeded expectations. I noticed the details, and the details matter. The bathroom was spotless, the beds looked crisp and fresh, the furniture was clean, the floors looked amazing, and the whole room felt like it had been cleaned with real care and pride.
Even beyond the room itself, the entire property was unbelievably clean. That is what impressed me so much. Usually a hotel might have a nice room, but the hallways, common areas, elevators, or grounds do not always match that same level of care. Here, the cleanliness was consistent everywhere. The entire property was beautifully maintained, and you could clearly tell that cleanliness is taken seriously at every level. Everything looked so well-kept, so polished, and so intentionally maintained that it honestly made the whole stay feel even more luxurious and relaxing.
It is such a good feeling to be able to fully settle in and enjoy your stay without noticing dirt, neglect, or things being overlooked. This hotel gave us that peace of mind completely. You can tell there is real effort behind the scenes to keep ever

Guest UserThe service was excellent; I arrived at the hotel in the morning, and they allowed early check-in. The location is superb, within walking distance of Yu Garden and the City God Temple, and also walkable to the Bund and Nanjing Road. Yu Garden is less than a 10-minute walk away. Nearby, at Gangcheng Mingdu, you can find Haidilao hot pot and mala tang. There's also a convenience store just over the overpass. When I returned to the hotel in the evening, there was supper available. The self-service laundry was very convenient, and the lobby offered free herbal tea and hot tea. A great bonus was the shuttle service to Yu Garden, the Bund, Xintiandi, and Yunnan Road Food Street.

My muyaoMy weekend stay at the Bellagio Shanghai, operated by Suning, was a truly comfortable and relaxing urban getaway.
The hotel's location and views are, of course, outstanding. Watching the Suzhou Creek and the Pudong skyline at night, all the quintessential Shanghai charm unfolded before my eyes. The hotel's aesthetic also really appealed to me; it doesn't chase flashy modernity, but instead has a timeless and understated classic feel that withstands the test of time. The room was very comfortable, especially the bedding, which was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. Even casual photos turned out beautifully – it's the kind of place that's pretty from any angle, without needing to deliberately find a good shot.
This time, I particularly want to thank Penny.
Over the years, I've stayed in many hotels, and once the hardware reaches a certain standard, it's truly the people who make the difference. Penny left me with an impression that can be summarized in two phrases: meticulous attention to detail and thorough consideration.
Before and after check-in, she proactively sought to understand our preferences and needs. Many things didn't require repeated explanations; she had already thought of them in advance. What's remarkable is that this attentiveness never felt forced; she had excellent discretion, making the entire weekend feel very relaxed.
One small incident, in particular, is worth mentioning. Even after her shift, Penny continued to help coordinate and arrange things for us, and she specifically clarified our personal preferences one by one. Guests may not always realize how much internal communication is involved, but the seamless experience she delivered speaks volumes about her dedication and professionalism.
Good service is never just about enthusiastic words; it's about anticipating what the guest hasn't thought of, and having already arranged what the guest has thought of. Penny excelled in this regard.
It was a weekend without a tight itinerary or any special plans – just enjoying the views, getting good sleep, and leisurely passing time at the hotel. Ironically, this was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing breaks I've had recently.
The hardware, views, and ambiance of the Bellagio Shanghai are all worth a return visit, but what truly makes someone choose a hotel again are often these small details in the service.
Thank you, Penny, for your care. I will definitely choose this hotel again and hope to see you next time.

Anonymous UserI booked this room for a client during a busy exhibition period when rooms were scarce. Luckily, I met Elio from Guest Relations at the front desk, who helped me with the Ctrip booking. His service was excellent and very patient! My client mentioned that even though the hotel is a bit older, all the facilities are comprehensive, including the largest gym, an indoor pool, and three restaurants. Maintenance is also very good, though there's a lack of power strips. Checking out, I encountered Elio again, and he smoothly processed the invoice for me! My client was very satisfied and had a great productive stay!

AizhujiudiandehuangshaoyeAn absolutely wonderful experience!
**Facilities:** Even though it's an older hotel, I was initially worried the facilities might be outdated. But when I arrived, I realized there was no need to worry at all. The overall vibe is one of rich heritage and understated luxury, without feeling old-fashioned. I personally loved it.
**Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent; I didn't notice any issues.
**Environment:** Simply fantastic. Both the hotel itself and the guests staying there collectively create an atmosphere that made me feel it was truly great value for money.

Guest UserMy stay at the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Our dedicated concierges, Echole and Aaron, even thoughtfully prepared a handwritten French welcome card, which added a wonderful touch of ceremony. From trip planning and dining reservations to responding to our specific needs, everything showcased the professionalism and warmth of a five-star hotel. The elegance of the century-old architecture, combined with their impeccable service, makes it an excellent choice for a stay in Shanghai. Highly recommended!

BigdoraHotel is 2 minutes walk away from the Shanghai railway station (you can literally see the station). Another a 5-7 minutes walk can take you to the 1, 12, and 13 metro line. A mall around the area, a line of shops near the neighborhood, downstairs is a convenient store, easy to find hotel, you can’t miss it.
Pool is under construction during our stay but they have other amenities like a very small gym, free laundry (washer + dryer), spa, and handful of rooms for board games mainly featuring Mahjong, if you’re a fan you will love it. These amenities is downstairs in the basement which you have to exit the building and take a separate entrance for. I want to note that I did see a water bug in the living checking area and in the amenities room. That is something they can def fix. Otherwise really good location if you plan to use the railway station or don’t want to stay at the city center.
Bathroom is separated into wet and dry. It have an option for overhead shower, fantastic water pressure. Door is not transparent, but it does not have a lock. Toilet have a bidet but I want to note that our toilet did have a faint but noticeable smell of urine, I’m not sure if it’s because the staff did not clean it well or its something else. There are no dirty spots and it’s visually clean.
Overall for the price of the hotel it’s SO spacious, clean and just so worth it.

Guest UserThis guesthouse, converted from an old house, has so much character! The room was huge, like a small apartment. I'll definitely come back during the off-season next time!
